Abstract

Daerah tangkapan air merupakan suatu daerah yang air hujannya diserap ke dalam tanah kemudian diubah menjadi air tanah. Studi ini, hubungan antara definisi daerah tangkapan air dan aliran air tanah regional ditekankan. Tujuan utama dari penentuan daerah tangkapan air ini yaitu untuk mengoptimalkan aliran dasar dalam tanah Tingkat infiltrasi ini tergantung pada curah hujan, jenis tanah dan batuan, kemiringan tanah, jenis penggunaan lahan dan vegetasi. Teknik zonasi ini juga digunakan untuk menjaga kualitas air dan menjaga debit produktifitas air disuatu kawasan, dengan menentukan luas daerah wilayah dan mengkaji daya serap tanah dengan teknik peresapan air melalui penanaman tumbuhan yang tepat dan pembangunan sumur-sumur resapan. Secara umum daerah resapan air di Kota dan Kabupaten Bogor tergolong daerah air tanah langka yang dimasukkan ke dalam Zona III dimana pada daerah ini hanya sedikit ditemukan daerah resapan air, walaupun ada biasanya resapannya tidak berarti. Zona I tersebar sangat terbatas pada bagian timur Kota dan Kabupaten Bogor. Pada area zona II diperbolehkan terdapatnya aktifitas pemukiman dengan batasan-batasan yang secara ekologi Pada zona III tidak diperbolehkan ada kegiatan pengolahan dan aktifitas masyarakat Zona III yang terbentuk di sini bukan merupakan proses pembentukkan secara alami, melainkan akibat penyebaran daerah kedap air yang luas di Zona ini. Penyusunan RT/RW perlu adanya daerah yang ditetapkan sebagai kawasan konservasi sebagai kawasan resapan air tanah

Abstract

Penggunaan benih bersertifikat merupakan langkah awal yang sangat menentukan terhadap input berikutnya yang diharapkan pada proses produksi. Guna mewujudkan hasil yang lebih optimal, maka diperlukan penanganan secara terpadu dan berkesinambungan mulai dari hulu hingga hilir. Benih bersertifikat dari varietas unggul baru (VUB) padi diperlukan petani karena potensial meningkatkan produktivitas usaha tani. Asumsi penggunaan sarana produksi lainnya optimal, seperti pupuk, pestisida, irigasi dan tenaga kerja, penggunaan benih unggul sangat menunjang usaha tani padi. Produktivitas lahan yang tinggi bisa meningkatkan pendapatan petani dan hal ini diperlukan sebab harga produk non pertanian juga terus meningkat. Kegiatan dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Wawotobi BPTP Sulawesi Tenggara di Kabupaten Konawe. Menggunakan lahan sawah irigasi teknis, mulai bulan JanuariDesember 2017. Hasil produksi benih sumber dan benih sebar varietas unggul padi sawah UPBS BPTP Sulawesi Tenggara, sebanyak 17.700 kg terdiri dari Inpari 30/klas BD (225 kg), Inpari 34/BD (200 kg), Inpari 38/BD (200 kg), Inpari 30/BR (750 kg), Inpari 40/BR (400 kg), Inpari Blast/BR (225 kg), Mekongga/BR (1600 kg), Ciherang/BR (2300 kg)varietas Inpari 15/BR (750 kg ), Inpari 30/BR (2.500 kg), Mekongga/BR (2.850 kg, dan Ciliwung/BR (5.700 kg).Benih Hasil produksi telah terdistribusi di tingkat petani dan penangkar di beberapa daerah Sulawesi Tenggara.

Romdon AS, Amirullah J 2019. The feasibility of hybrid corn farming in Kendal District (Case Study in Sidodadi Village Patean Sub-district Kendal District). in: Herlinda S et al. (Eds.), Prosiding Seminar Nasional Lahan Suboptimal 2019, Palembang  4-5 September 2019. pp. 345-352. Palembang: Unsri Press. Kendal District is the fourth contributor to corn production in Central Java after Grobogan, Blora and Wonogiri district. Kendal district corn production in 2017 reached 239,690 tons with an average productivity of 68.03 ku/ha. Productivity is still relatively low compared to the achievement of productivity in other districts in Central Java such as Cilacap (72.54 ku/ha), Sukoharjo (87.52 ku/ha), Klaten (81.60 ku/ha), and Batang (78.84 ku/ha), as well as Results showed that achievable productivity ranged from 85-110 ku/ha. The purpose of research is to know the general overview of the region, the general picture of corn farming and the feasibility of corn farming done by farmers in Kendal district. English translation. The focus of research was conducted in Sidodadi village of Patean Sub-district, since 31.7% of the area of the Patean corn sub-harvest is located in the village. Varieties of corn that is common in the planting are pioneer and Bisi, OPT control is done by Prefentive and when there is attack while fertilization is done by the average dose used is Urea 350-475 kg/ha and Phonska 300 kg/ha. Corn farming done by farmers in general 2 times in 1 year in the planting season II (MK 1) and planting season III (MK 2), the results of farming analysis shows that corn farming is worth the effort to be seen from NPV 35.40 and IRR 404%.Keywords:  corn, farming, Kendal, NPV, productivity

Abstract

Lowland swamps can be developed as agricultural land with potential competitiveness that can be cultivated in the dry season and the rainy season so that there is an increase in the cropping index that can improve the welfare of farmers. South Sumatra Province has large swamp lands, one of which is in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency ( OKI). However, the productivity of rice in this area is still quite low so that it has the opportunity to be improved by improving the technology of lowland rice cultivation. This study aims to: (1) identify the application of lowland swamp rice cultivation technology at the farmer level, and (2) analyze the level of knowledge and attitudes of farmers towards lowland swamp rice cultivation technology. The assessment was carried out from January to May 2019 in Sugiwaras Village, Teluk Gelam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency with 22 farmers as respondents. Respondents were selected by purposive sampling method. The results of the study show that: (1) The application of lowland swamp rice cultivation at the farm level (existing) is still relatively simple with good levels of application, namely seeding, land preparation, tillage and weed control; (2) Knowledge of farmers increased by 41.42% supported by a positive attitude of farmers towards disseminated swamp rice cultivation technology. Abstract

Accelerating the dissemination of several new high-yielding varieties of Inpari through assessments needs to be carried out in the province of South Sumatra. The study aims to determine the yield performance of Inpari 15, Inpari 20, Inpari 22, and Ciherang varieties and to determine the contribution of yield components to yield. The assessment was carried out in May-September 2015 in Musi Rawas Regency (MURA), South Sumatra. The introduced varieties were Inpari 15, Inpari 20, Inpari 22, and the existing farmer varieties (Ciherang). Urea, SP 36, KCl, and manure were used 250, 150, 150 and 500 kg/ha. The variables observed were plant height, number of productive tillers/clumps, length of panicle, number of filled grain/panicle, the weight of 1000 grains, and yield/ha. The results of the study showed that the yields of Inpari 15 (6.48 t/ha), Inpari 20 (7.30 t/ha), Inpari 22 (7.52 t/ha, Ciherang (5.48 t/ha). The yield of Inpari was 18.25-37.23% higher than that of the Ciherang variety. The superiority of the Inpari yield was supported by the number of productive tillers/clumps and the number of grain/panicles which were more than Ciherang. Inpari 15, Inpari 20, and Inpari 22 have the potential to be developed in the MURA Regencyto replace the Ciherang variety.Keyword: Inbred, Paddy, Irrigated Rice
