Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has had a comprehensive impact on all aspects of people's lives. The government has launched the Disaster Resilient Village program 2014 in empowering rural communities to face disasters. When the Covid-19 pandemic struck in West Sumatra, this program was echoed again in the form of the Nagari Tageh Program. However, the government and the Nagari community still need strengthening in planning and implementing this program. This activity aims to assist the community and the Sumaniak Nagari Government in preparing a Nagari development plan that is responsive to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic through strengthening community empowerment. This activity was carried out in 2020 with the stages of identifying problems and priority needs of the Nagari community in reducing the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, identifying programs and activities to resolve these problems, and discussing program financing through the Nagari government budget. This activity has resulted in programs and activities that have been agreed by the community and the Nagari government to be implemented in 2021. The resulting development plan reflects a development plan that is responsive to community problems and needs and is participatory because it involves the community in its preparation. Through partnership activities with Unand, the team will become Nagari partners starting from the planning, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation stages of the Nagari Tageh development program so that Nagari Sumaniak is ready to face pandemics and other disasters in the future and become an Independent Nagari in all aspects of development.

Abstract

Judul artikel ini adalah “Representasi Citra Perempuan dalam Cerpen Maria Karya A. A. Navis”. Tujuan artikel ini adalah menggambarkan perjuangan tokoh protagonis perempuan, Maria, yang berjuang melawan penindasan gender. Metode yang digunakan dalam penyusunan laporan ini adalah metode deskriptif berbentuk penelitian kualitatif. Hasil pencarian dan informasi yang dapat ditindaklanjuti berupa kata dan frasa. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi sastra perempuan. Kisah ini berkisah tentang seorang perempuan tangguh bernama Maria yang selalu berjuang untuk menunjukkan bahwa perempuan juga berhak untuk mandiri dan tidak bergantung pada laki-laki. Dalam cerpen tersebut, Maria digambarkan sebagai sosok yang menarik, meski secara fisik ia tidak menarik. Maria memiliki pola pikir yang dewasa, mandiri, memiliki nilai-nilai yang kuat, percaya diri dan setia menjadi sahabat. Maria menekankan gagasan bahwa perempuan adalah makhluk yang lemah. Maria adalah perempuan yang berani melawan kekuasaan laki-laki. Maria adalah seorang istri yang baik dan taat kepada suaminya.

Abstract

Kegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini bertujuan memberikan bekal kepada siswa untuk menjadi Master of Ceremony (MC) yang professional. Kegiatan ini berangkat dari permasalahan  yang terjadi di lapangan dapat  ditemukan  rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara, terutama public speaking. Materi yang diberikan pada pelatihan ini meliputi: pengantar public speaking (retorika dan etika MC), membangun dan meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, teknik mengelola vocal,  mengenal berbagai jenis acara, teknik berbicara dimuka umum, dan penguasaan suasana/acara. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah materi dapat diterima dengan baik oleh peserta dan mendapatkan respon yang positif. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah peserta dapat 1).Memahami dasar-dasar dan teknik MC, 2) mengetahui dan memahami syarat-syarat, tugas dan etika MC, 3) berlatih MC dalam membuka, memandu berlangsungnya acara sampai menutup acara formal, 4) mampu memandu acara dalam menampilkan citra diri sesuai tema dan naskah acara, 5) mengatur vokal dan penampilan diri sesuai tuntutan acara.

Abstract

The influence of the non-physical work environment and stress levels on employee performance are the main objectives of this research, especially in the organizational environment of Auto 2000 Raden Intan, a corporate entity operating in the automotive industry sector. This study used a quantitative approach. Because the non-physical work environment does not have a direct impact on the company but on employees if not managed properly, the relationship between employees and superiors is very important to achieve company goals. A total of 35 employees were included in the study population. The sample that took only the mechanical part was 35 employees from 111 total population at PT. Astra International Tbk. Auto 2000 Raden Intan. In the research analysis required to achieve this, multiple linear equations were used, and the results showed that work stress along with non-physical work environments can affect the good level of employee performance. The determinant coefficient R2 of 62.8% means that performance (Y) is affected by the non-physical work environment (X1) as well as work stress (X2) is 62.8%. While the remaining portion of 37.2% was influenced by additional components or variables outside this study.
