Abstract

This study aims to find out that: (1) the Celebration of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday inTegallinggah Village (2) the uniqueness of the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday Celebration inTegallinggah Village (3) The values contained in the Prophet Muhammad's Birthday whichcan be used as a source of learning History. The method used in this research is to use adescriptive qualitative research method. This descriptive qualitative research methodemphasizes a quality of research. There are 3 steps used in this descriptive qualitative research,namely observation, interview and document study. The results of the study show that thebirthday of the Prophet Muhammad was introduced for the first time by the Fatimid dynastylong before Al-Barjanzi was born who is known as the maker of poems praising the ProphetMuhammad. However, the Prophet Muhammad's birthday was really popular during the timeof the governor of Ibril (Iraq), namely Abu Sa'id Al-kukburi during the reign of SultanSalahudin Al-ayyubi. After the leadership of Sultan Salahudin Al-ayyubi, the celebration ofthe Prophet's Birthday eventually spread throughout the world, including Indonesia. Theculture that was brought to Indonesia eventually mixed with the local culture so that theelements at Maulid also contained elements or mixing with local culture. The values that canbe used as a source of historical learning are religious values, social values and cultural values.These three values will later be wrapped in the Historical Social Studies Module.Keywords: History of Mawlid, Culture, Historical Teaching Resources

Abstract

This research aims to explores the historical traces of various multicultural values in Kampung Bugis Subdistrict, Buleleng, Bali, and its potential as a learning sources in High School (SMA). The research methodology used in this study is an approach of qualitative descriptive method, which includes: (1) heuristics, search of historical sources, (2) criticism, means of acquiring credible sources,(3) interpretation, interpreting on existing historical sources, and (4) historiography, the writing of history. The multicultural dynamic of Kampung Bugis have been long influenced by Bugis people migration and trades between 1600s and 1800s, as well as the arrival of other ethnic groups such as the Chinese, Malays, Arabs, and Javanese. Multicultural values are widely practiced and spread across the communal life of Kampung Bugis community, encompassing through three values: tolerance, equality, and inclusion. These aspects of multiculturalism in Kampung Bugis Subdistrict could be use as a source of learning and education for High School (SMA): acceptance and respect for diversity, equality, inclusion, and tolerance, and intercultural development.

Abstract

This research aims to find out: (1) The background to the establishment of the Samyag Dresti Vihara in Penglatan Village, Buleleng, Bali. (2) The structure of the Samyag Dresti Vihara in Penglatan Village, Buleleng, Bali. (3) Aspects of the Samyag Dresti Vihara in Penglatan Village, Buleleng, Bali which can be used as a source for studying history in high school. The research method used is a historical research method with a qualitative approach including: (1) Heuristics: observation techniques, interviews, document study. (2) Source criticism. (3) Interpretation. (4) Historiography. The research results show that: (1) The background to the founding of the Samyag Dresti Vihara began with a teacher named Ketut Sri Madya who studied morality originating from Buddhist teachings. Ketut Sri Madya is known to be powerful in three villages, namely Petandakan, Alasangker and Penglatan, so these three villages also follow the teachings of Buddhism. When carrying out religious services, Buddhists do so in Petandakan and Banjar villages. After several years, the Samyag Dresti Vihara was built and became a place of worship for Buddhists in Penglatan village. (2) The building structure of the Samyag Dresti Vihara is local architecture with typical temple and stupa buildings which are symbols of Buddhism. (3) Aspects that can be developed as sources for learning history in high school are: (1) Historical aspects, (2) Spiritual aspects, (3) Social aspects, (4) Knowledge aspects.

Abstract

Desa Belantih merupakan salah satu desa yang memiliki potensi besar pada bidang perkebunan kopi. Belantih Coffee Farm dan Kelompok Tani Dharma Kriya merupakan dua industri pengolahan Kopi Arabika Kintamani yang ada di Desa Belantih. Akan tetapi dalam menjalankan usahanya kedua mitra menghadapi berbagai permasalahan yaitu kedua mitra tidak memiliki mesin pulper, dan huller. Metode pemasaran yang digunakan oleh mitra hanya mengandalkan teman di whatapp grup atau teman dekat, serta dengan metode pemasaran dari mulut ke mulut. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah Particiatory Action and Learning System (PALS). Terdapat beberapa kegiatan yang dilaksanakan untuk mengoptimalkan potensi dan menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh kedua mitra, yakni transfer teknologi tepat guna berupa mesin pulper kepada UMKM Belantih Coffee Farm dan mesin huller kepada Kelompok Tani Dharma Kriya, pelatihan fotografi dan videografi produk, pelatihan pembuatan konten pemasaran (copywriting), pelatihan social media marketing, dan pelatihan marketpalce usaha kepada kedua mitra. Kedua mitra mampu menggunakan social media untuk mempromosikan produk kopi arabika Kintamani. Kedua mitra mampu menggunakan marketpalce  berupa shopee untuk mempromosikan produk kopi arabika Kintamani.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This research examines the Angsana Sari Struggle Monument in Titab Village, Buleleng, as a symbol of local struggle. The aim of the research is to explore the background to the erection of the monument, the character values ​​contained, and its use as a history learning resource in high school. The method used is descriptive qualitative. Data was obtained by conducting observations, interviews and document studies. The results of the research show that the monument was erected to commemorate the incident of the NICA army's ambush of young fighters. The character values ​​contained in the monument include religion, hard work, love of the country, democracy, national spirit, love of peace, respect for achievement, social care, responsibility and friendship. The use of monuments as a historical learning resource applies the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in accordance with the curriculum. This research contributes to the preservation of historical values ​​and character for the younger generation. Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji dinamika multidimensional Pasar Seni Sukawati, salah satu pasar seni tertua di Bali, dari masa Orde Baru hingga era kontemporer, dengan fokus pada transformasi fisik, ekonomi, dan budaya serta implikasinya sebagai sumber belajar sejarah. Berakar dari pusat perdagangan lokal sejak abad ke-17, pasar ini secara resmi diresmikan pada tahun 1985 sebagai respons terhadap kebijakan pariwisata Orde Baru yang mendorong pengembangan destinasi budaya. Menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus, penelitian ini melibatkan observasi, wawancara mendalam dengan informan kunci (pengelola pasar, pedagang senior, dan kepala desa), serta studi dokumen dan arsip. Teknik penentuan informan dilakukan melalui purposive sampling dan snowball sampling. Analisis data dilakukan secara interaktif meliputi kondensasi data, penyajian, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan validasi melalui triangulasi teknik dan sumber. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pasar Seni Sukawati mengalami perubahan fisik signifikan dari struktur tradisional menjadi bangunan modern bertingkat melalui beberapa tahap revitalisasi, terutama pada tahun 2015-2017 dan 2020-2021. Transformasi ini mencerminkan upaya modernisasi infrastruktur pariwisata sekaligus pelestarian identitas budaya melalui penerapan konsep Sadar Wisata dan Sapta Pesona. Meskipun demikian, revitalisasi ini menimbulkan tantangan, seperti penurunan jumlah pengunjung dan penjualan pasca-pandemi, serta persepsi hilangnya "taksu" di kalangan pedagang. Minimnya pencatatan sejarah yang terstruktur menjadi kendala dalam memahami dinamika pasar secara komprehensif. Kendati demikian, pasar ini tetap menjadi entitas penting yang merefleksikan adaptasi masyarakat lokal terhadap kebijakan pariwisata dan globalisasi, sekaligus berfungsi sebagai sumber belajar sejarah yang kaya akan interaksi sosial-ekonomi dan budaya Bali.

Abstract

The purpose of this service is to train the community in producing and packaging sugar ants made from coconut sap. The service location is in Patoman Tengah Hamlet, Patoman Village, Blimbingsari District, Banyuwangi Regency. Meanwhile, the partners that were made the object of service were unproductive groups of people in producing brown sugar and people who had previously produced printed red sugar but had now stopped because of various kinds of problems. The method used in this training is to bring in experts from the Desperindag Banyuwangi who master the field of making ant sugar. The sugar production process of ants in Patoman Village starts from filtering coconut sap using a filter cloth to remove impurities, the clean coconut juice is then put into a pan and then cooked with a stove. After the head juice becomes thick, it is continued by solidification (compaction). Solid coconut sap continues to stir until it becomes a crystal (crystallization). After the crystal is formed, refinement is also carried out by using wood made of pressure. After that filtering is done using a sieve that has been prepared. The ant sugar is then dried under the sun for 3-4 hours. Finally, the packaging of ant sugar is done using plastic and plastic bottles.

Abstract

This study aims to determine (1) the struggle of Ida Bagus Ngurah Adnyana during the Physical Revolution to the New Order; (2) the character values ​​that can be taken from the figure of Ida Bagus Ngurah Adnyana; and (3) the integration of the values ​​of struggle and character of Ida Bagus Ngurah Adnyana in history learning in high school. By using the History research method, the results obtained are: (1) During the Physical Revolution, Ida Bagus Ngurah Adnyana became one of the leaders of the fighters in Bangli Regency. During the Old Order, Adnyana served as Deputy Chairman of the DPR-GR of Bangli Regency. During the Old Order, Adnyana continued to fill independence by serving the community; (2) The character values ​​that can be taken from the figure of Ida Bagus Ngurah Adnyana include the Value of Honesty; Hard Work Value; National Spirit Value; Love for the Homeland Value; Social Concern Value; Entrepreneurial Value; Independence Value; Risk-Taking Value; and Action-Oriented Value; (3) The values ​​of struggle and character of Ida Bagus Ngurah Adnyana can be a complement in learning history for Senior High School Stage F (Class XII) Chapter 1: The Struggle to Defend Independence.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the problem of low integration of the potential for local culture-based education in Ijen Geopark in history learning at the secondary school level, which is still predominantly text-based and has minimal use of interactive technology. The purpose of this research is to develop history learning modules based on digital tourism, AI, and AR to improve students' understanding of local history while fostering cultural conservation attitudes. The research subjects included 190 students and 8 history teachers who were selected through stratified random sampling. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with preliminary study stages, product design, expert validation, limited trials, and effectiveness tests. Data collection techniques are carried out through tests, questionnaires, observations, and interviews, while data analysis techniques include content validity tests, paired t-tests, chi-squares, ANOVAs, and Pearson correlation analysis. The results showed a significant increase in local history knowledge (the average pre-test score of 48.2 increased to 75.6 in the post-test, p < 0.001), a more positive attitude of cultural conservation, expert validation with a very feasible category (content 90.1% and media 88.4%), and teacher perception that strongly supports the implementation of modules in history learning based on local contexts.

Abstract

The purpose of writing this article is to identify the remains and lives of prehistoric people around Lake Buyan-Tamblingan, as well as to map the potential of these archaeological remains as a source of learning history in the Millennial Era. The findings show that around Lake Tamblingan found prehistoric remains, such as stone thrones, dolmens, menhirs, celak kontong lugeng luih, and statues of ancestors. The thing that attracts attention is the assumption or belief of the residents in the villages in the Lake Batur-Tamblingan area that these prehistoric/megalithic relics are still considered sacred and sacred, and it is proven that so-called Hindu temples in that area are actually a combination of holy places. megalithic/prehistoric with Balinese Hindu temples. The prehistoric relics around Lake Buyan-Tamblingan have enormous potential to be used as a source of history learning in the millennial era because these relics are able to visualize historical material which so far has only been narrated in textbooks.
