Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa pada materi sistem persaamaan linear dua variabel (SPLDV) melalui pengembangan media pembelajran power direktor berbasis model pembelajaran discavery learning. Jenis Penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan atau reseach and development. Penelitian ini dilakukan di kelas X Akuntansi SMK Swasta Siti Banun dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 29 siswa. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengahasilkan suatu produk berupa media pembelajaran power direktor dalam bentuk animasi video pembelajaran berbasis model pembelajaran discavery learning yang diharapkan mampu meningkatkan minat belajar siswa dan meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah reseach and d evelopment dan dilakukan menggunakan tahapan pengembangan ADDIE ( Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Dengan dikembangkannya media pembelajaran power direktor berbasis model pembelajaran discavery learning jika dilihat dari hasil tes kemampuan yang diberikan kepada siswa menggunakan rumus N-GAIN Ternormalisasi, hasil peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis siswa sebesar 6,60 yang artinya kemampuan representasi matematis siswa meningkat termasuk kedalam kategori sedang.

Abstract

Abstrak:Pengembangan produk berupa Lembar Kerja Siswa matematika berbasis modeldiscovery learningterhadapkemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas XI di SMAN 1 Rantau Selatan merupakan tujuan utama yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini.Penelitian pengembangan (R&D) dipilih sebagai jenis penelitian yang digunakan. Sedangkan desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah model 4-D yang terdiri dari define, design, develop, dan disseminate.Produk ini divalidasi oleh validator ahliyang berkompeten dibidangnya.Produk diuji cobakan kepada siswa/i kelas XI Mia 1 di SMAN 1 Rantau Selatan.Langkah berikutnya ditinjau dari keefektifan dan peningkatan kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis siswa dari pengembangan LKS tersebut.Instrumen yang dipakaiyaitulembar validasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur, angket respon siswa dan tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis.Sedangkan teknik analisis data yaitu analisis kevalidan, analisis keefektifan dan analisis data tes kemampuan pemahaman konsep matematis.Berdasarkan uji cobaoleh peneliti maka didapatkan hasil keefektifan pengembangan produk yaitu sebesar 3.45 yang artinya sudah efektif jika digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar, sedangkan nilai angket respon siswa sebesar 3.45 dari skala tertinggi adalah 4. Dan peningkatan pemahaman konsep matematis berada pada kriteria sedang yaitu 0,63. Berdasarkan data tersebut, produk yang dikembangkan sudah efektif dan meningkat. Kata-kata kunci:Discovery Learning, Pemahaman Konsep Matematis.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the significant or not influence of the level of service and relational promotion on the decision to stay at the Platinum Rantauprapat hotel. The study used quantitative methods and through an associative causality approach. The data collection technique used was through observation and interviews. The sample in this study was 50 respondents or consumers. The sampling technique was simple random sampling. The data analysis technique used statistical techniques/SPSS by conducting validity and reliability tests then for questionnaires and multiple linear regression analysis with the T Test and F Test to prove the hypothesis. The results of the study showed that there was a close and significant influence of the level of service on the decision to stay, there was a close and significant influence of relational promotion on the decision to stay, the influence of friendliness to customers and the availability of goods was 98.6% and the remaining 1.4% was influenced by other factors and variables

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Discovery Inquiry method in improving students’ creative poetry writing skills among eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 1 Silangkitang. The research employed a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design consisting of four stages: planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. The participants were 25 students from class VIII. Data were collected through classroom observations, student interviews, and analysis of students’ poetry. The results show that the Discovery Inquiry method significantly enhanced students’ performance in writing poetry. The average score increased from 68.4 in the first cycle to 86.2 in the second cycle, marking a 26% improvement. Students showed notable progress in creativity, word choice accuracy, and mastery of poetic structure. Moreover, their self-confidence, critical thinking ability, and willingness to experiment with language and poetic forms also improved. During the implementation, students became more engaged and active in the learning process, as they were encouraged to explore ideas and express emotions freely through poetry. The findings indicate that the Discovery Inquiry method not only develops technical writing skills but also nurtures creative expression and motivation to learn literature. Therefore, this method can be considered an effective and student-centered strategy for enhancing poetry writing skills and promoting creative learning in language and literature classes.
