Abstract

District Pringsewu is growing districts that continue to make the development of various sectors, one of the tourism sector. Culinary tourism in the District Pringsewu growing quite rapidly, has a lot of standing places that sell a lot of food choices, from street vendors to modern eating places like cafes. Many cafe in the district of Pringsewu would be a separate issue in determining the appropriate location for the new cafe location Suncafe, for it needed a system that could help determine the location of a new cafe. The criteria used in making this decision support system include building area, spacious parking, accessibility, security, distance to the city center, the price of the location, and comfort. Decision support system is made using a simple additive weighting method (SAW) is looking for a weighted sum of the performance of each alternative. While the implementation of the program for decision support system is made by using Delphi 7. Obtained big 3 ranking the final results to determine the location of a new cafe, namely 1. Subdistrict of Pagelaran with a value of 80, 2. Subdistrict of Gadingrejo with a value of 79, and 3. Subdistrict of Adiluwih with a value of 78.55.

Abstract

The destination process or otherwise known as routing. Mikrotik Router has provided the management system to hotspot user through separate program package named User Manager. The main problem is the integration of user manager applications into the hardware router Mikrotik considered less effective and flexible because to perform the process of management of the user hotspots must be done on each router located in the hotspot area which will certainly take a relatively long time. From these problems, then created a new system by utilizing external PCRADIUS server as the center of the process of authentication and management of users Mikrotik hotspot. The purpose of this research is to design radius server on internet server network Faculty of Computer Science University Muhammadiyah Metro. While the final results of this study are implementing radius  on the Internet network server Faculty of Computer Science (FIKOM) Universitas Muhammadiyah Metro.

Abstract

VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) is the theology that makes the intranet network even the internet to be able to do voice communications remotely directly. Analog voice signals, such as those heard when communicating on the phone is converted into digital data and transmitted over the network in the form of data packets in real time. In VoIP communications, the user makes a phone connection through a terminal in the form of a PC or a regular telephone (smartphone). With telephones using VoIP, many benefits can be taken include: 1) in terms of cost obviously cheaper than traditional phone rates, 2) network-free, if the internet network is broken VOIP can still be used with notes connected to wifi or wired network, 3) maintenance costs can be pressed due to voice and network data apart, so IP Phone  added, moved and changed. In this research, VOIP is implemented at UM Metro. UM Metro has 3 campuses (Campus 1, Campus 2 and Campus 3) are different areas of location, but still in one City. The result of Voice Over Internet Protocol (VOIP) as communication media between units at UM Metro shows the result of 85, 7% (Strongly Agree) and 14, 3 (Agree), it can be concluded with the existence of VOIP   is very feasible for use as a medium of communication.

Abstract

Along with the widespread use of the internet, many companies then switch to using the internet as part of their network to save costs. However, security issues are still a major factor in the reliability of a network. Virtual Private Network (VPN) is one way that can be used to create a private network and long-distance connections (remote access) with a high level of security over public networks or the Internet. The conclusions of this study are a) analysis and design of remote access with VPN technology in the Mentari East Lampung BMT Office, b) the resulting management of IP Address distribution for connections between branches using VPN, c) the creation of a VPN account management function for connection between branch BMT office. Mentari East Lampung, d) has successfully tested the VPN account login from the Client side.

Abstract

Network notifications are very much needed by the network technical team. In addition, network notifications function to provide information to the technical team to find out the current condition of the server or router which is under the supervision of the technical team so that if the server is down, it can be handled quickly. The research method used is DIO Network Lifecycle. DIO Network Lifecycle is a network design method or commonly referred to as a network service life cycle designed to support network development. The research phase begins with design, implementation and operation. The research output produced is in the form of BOT monitoring of the BMT Mentari Lampung Timur network using Mikrotik and the Telegram API.

Abstract

The presence of cloud technology at this time is considered very necessary to be implemented at BMT Mentari East Lampung. In the implementation of the fund or financial management activities, BMT Mentari East Lampung, already has the support of an Information Technology network to support daily operational activities, in addition to that, some have even implemented internet and intranet technology both at the central and branch levels. The strength factor that emerged was the great desire of BMT Mentari Lampung managers to implement VPS using DigitalOcean's Cloud Server so that all databases currently using were neutralized on 1 public computer or cloud. By using VPS services, BMT Mentari has full control over the server and all its settings on the DigitalOcean Cloud Server and VPS security is more guaranteed than previous intranet services. It should be noted that the manager of BMT Mentari East Lampung can adjust the VPS security configuration according to the required standards and the disk space and bandwidth in VPS services are safer and more stable.

Abstract

Objective - This research aims to implement the migration of on-premises servers to a hosting service to improve the availability and accessibility of a student data management application. Methods - The approach used is the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) framework, which includes the stages of analysis, design, simulation, implementation, monitoring, and management. The success of the migration was evaluated by validating the integrity of all directory files, synchronizing records in the MySQL database, and testing the functionality of the application's navigation features in the new server environment. Findings - The test results indicate that the migration was successfully implemented in accordance with the established technical parameters. Monitoring data over ten days showed an average response time ranging from 1.2 to 2.5 seconds, with an average service availability (uptime) of 98.7%. Research Implications - These findings confirm that hosting services can be an efficient infrastructure solution for developers or institutions to distribute small-scale applications globally without significant initial costs. Conclusion - The application of the NDLC methodology provides a systematic approach to ensuring the smooth transition of data from on-premises to the cloud. Despite the high availability level, it is recommended to consider infrastructure scalability in the event of a significant increase in traffic in the future

Abstract

Perkembangan teknologi informasi memberikan peluang dalam pemanfaatan media digital sebagai sarana pembelajaran, termasuk dalam pembelajaran Al-Qur’an. Namun, pemanfaatan teknologi tersebut belum sepenuhnya optimal, khususnya pada anak-anak di lingkungan panti asuhan yang masih membutuhkan pendampingan dalam penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis digital. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk memberikan pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi Ahlul Quran berbasis Android sebagai media pembelajaran tahsin bagi anak asuh Panti Asuhan Budi Utomo Kota Metro. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi tahap sosialisasi, pelatihan, serta pendampingan penggunaan aplikasi. Untuk mengetahui tingkat pemahaman peserta terhadap penggunaan aplikasi tersebut, dilakukan evaluasi menggunakan kuesioner pretest dan posttest. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman peserta mengenai pemanfaatan aplikasi Ahlul Quran sebagai media pembelajaran tahsin. Peserta juga menunjukkan minat dan antusiasme yang tinggi dalam menggunakan aplikasi tersebut sebagai sarana belajar Al-Qur’an secara mandiri. Dengan demikian, penggunaan aplikasi Ahlul Quran berbasis Android dapat menjadi salah satu alternatif media pembelajaran yang efektif dalam mendukung pembelajaran tahsin serta meningkatkan motivasi belajar Al-Qur’an pada anak-anak di lingkungan panti asuhan.Kata kunci: pembelajaran tahsin, aplikasi android, media pembelajaran, teknologi pendidikan, pengabdian kepada masyarakat.

Abstract

Abstract: CV. GM Aulia Madani Boiler is a poultry slaughtering and distribution company that utilizes the internet in its operations. However, the previous Wi-Fi system had a weakness in the form of the absence of user authentication, which allowed anyone to connect without restriction. This resulted in slow connections and increased network security risks. This research aims to design and implement a wireless hotspot authentication system using Mikrotik devices to enhance network security and efficiency. The design process follows the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method, which consists of six stages: initiation, analysis, design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The network topology used is the star topology. The system is designed to utilize the Mikrotik User Manager feature to create user accounts and manage access rights based on user categories. The testing results show that the system is capable of restricting access only to registered users and managing network connections proportionally. In conclusion, the implementation of a Mikrotik-based hotspot authentication system has proven effective in improving network performance and preventing unauthorized access, thereby supporting work efficiency at CV. GM Aulia Madani Boiler and serving as a reference for other institutions facing similar issues.
