Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of customer satisfaction on online purchase intention on the website Lazada. This study used 200 respondents taken from students of Business Management at the Politeknik Negeri Batam and Universitas Internasional Batam. The type of data used in this study is the interval scale. Moreover, the scaling method used in the instrument of Likert scale with 5 rating categories. Data processing techniques in this study using Spss software program 17. The results of this study is shows the customer satisfaction (role, social, best deal, product information, monetary saving, convenience and perceived ease of use) has an influence on online purchase intention. For further research is expected to increase the number of samples, change the sample or add research variables.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to aimed the effect of service quality, and price have positive effect to customer satisfaction. In addition service quality is measured by five dimensions: tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, while price is measured by using the fairness indicator of ship ticket price, fair pricing policy, ethical ticket pricing policy, acceptable ticket pricing policy. This study use quesionnaire which is five likert scale. Furthermore, this study used samplingmethod moreover, this study used random samplig technique, Analyzer used is liniear regression analysis and f-test. The results of this study found that service quality has a a positive influence on customer satisfaction, Price has a positive effect on customer satisfaction. This study are used the ferry passenger population of Batam-Tanjung Pinang route, Subsequent research is expected to increase the population becomes more widespread, such as passengers ferry Batam-Tanjung Pinang route and Batam-Tanjung Uban route, and add new variables such as punctuality.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of Business Administration Competition on student learning motivation, emotional intelligence and increasing competence of students' global competitiveness. The variables of this research are the BAC Competition (X1), learning motivation (Y1), emotional intelligence (Y2) and increasing competence of students' global competitiveness (Y3). This study used a quantitative approach using a sample of students in Business Administration study program who had participated in BAC competitions at both Polibatam and National levels. Data processing techniques in this study used SPSS 20 software. The population in this study were all students who participated in BAC which consisted of Secretarial competition, Meeting design competition, MC competition, Business presentation competition, Web design competition, Business data processing competition and Business plan. . The sample size of 28 students was determined by purposive sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by means of questionnaires and observation. Data analysis was performed using descriptive analysis and simple linear regression. The results of this study concluded that there is an effect of the BAC Competition on each variable of learning motivation, emotional intelligence and increasing competence of students' global competitiveness.

Abstract

Penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepemimpinan, motivasi, dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis data penelitian dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis data yaitu regresi berganda. Objek penelitian merupakan karyawan yang bekerja di perusahaan oil and gas yang ada di Batu Ampar dengan 170 sampel responden. Hasil yang diperoleh variabel kepemimpinan dan motivasi berpengaruh positif (signifikan) terhadap kinerja karyawan, sedangkan variabel lingkungan kerja tidak memiliki pengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan. Penelitian selanjutnya diharapkan memilih sampel penelitian tidak hanya perusahaan oli and gas yang terdapat di Batu Ampar saja, akan tetapi seluruh perusahaan yang ada di Batam dan dapat menambah variabel yang lebih mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan disuatu perusahaan. Manfaat penelitian ini untuk penelitian yaitu dapat digunakan sebagai bahan referensi ataupun perbandingan bagi penelitian selanjutnya serta menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan mengenai pengaruh kepemimpinan, motivasi dan lingkungan kerja serta dampaknya terhadap kinerja karyawan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tata kelola perusahaan yang baik yang diproksikan dengan ukuran komisaris, proporsi komisaris independen, kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional, dan ukuran komite audit terhadap pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini menggunakan data yang merupakan data sekunder dari laporan tahunan perusahaan keuangan di Indonesia. Selain itu, penelitian ini dilakukan oleh 34 perusahaan keuangan di Bursa Efek Indonesia yang dipilih dengan metode purposive sampling. Selain itu, penelitian ini telah diuji dengan analisis regresi linier berganda, uji F, dan uji koefisien determinasi. Lebih jauh lagi, hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ukuran komisaris, proporsi komisaris independen, kepemilikan manajerial, kepemilikan institusional dan ukuran komite audit berpengaruh positif terhadap pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada literatur yang ada dan memberikan informasi tentang tata kelola perusahaan yang baik dan pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan yang digunakan oleh perusahaan dan investor. Sebagai kesimpulan, studi masa depan harus menggunakan variabel independen lainnya yang dapat mempengaruhi pengungkapan tanggung jawab sosial perusahaan.

Abstract

Increasing the number of residents in the city of Batam is a strategic goal in developing an entrepreneurial and business climate. This is in line with the development of micro, small and medium enterprises in Batam City. The purpose of this study is to analyze the needs for culinary tourism that are in demand by the community, especially millennials in Batam City. G-Coffee is a culinary tourism object that has a place with a contemporary design. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative which aims to dig up information about Digital marketing management at G-Coffee for the needs of the community in terms of culinary tourism, this will later increase competitiveness and a wider market in its marketing strategy to face the era of society 5.0 where digital transformation has changed various habits and ways of life of society and industry including realizing Digital MSMEs. Based on research results, currently G-Coffee is very strong in the use of social media, especially to attract their customer segment which consists of students and students. In the future there needs to be a specific strategy that needs to be developed so that G-Coffe can still compete with its competitors.

Abstract

This study is made based on the development of e-commerce use in Batam accompanied by a digital marketing strategy of celebrity endorsement to be able to attract people to repurchase intention with perceived value as a mediation. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of celebrity endorsement on repurchase intention through perceived value. The research method is a cross sectional design with a quantitative approach. The object in this research is the people of Batam city of e-commerce users who repurchase services or products in e-commerce. Non-probability sampling was selected with a purposive sampling approach. The research was conducted by distributing questionnaires containing closed questions to 400 respondents. The use of descriptive statistics in the form of percentage analysis and index analysis, as well as inferential statistics in the form of classical assumption test analysis, Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) analysis using IBM AMOS version 23 data processing applications and analysis of VAF mediation effects as data analysis. The results showed that celebrity endorsement affects repurchase intention through perceived value as a mediating variable with a VAF value of .90147 or equivalent to 90% which acts as a full mediator, so it can be concluded that celebrity endorsement affects repurchase intention through perceived value as a mediating variable in e-commerce user community in Batam City, where perceived value as a mediating variable acts as a full mediator on the effect of celebrity endorsement on repurchase intention in e-commerce user community in Batam city.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of product knowledge, attitude and halal certification on purchase intention in halal food products at five universities in Batam City. This research uses a quantitative approach, descriptive statistical data analysis techniques and multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this research amounted to 370 respondents. Data collection techniques in this research using a questionnaire through google form. The population in this research were business management students from five universities in Batam city with a sample of 370 respondents. The results of this research indicate that product knowledge has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention which can be proven by the value of t count > t table that is 3.779 > 1.99647, attitude has a positive and significant effect on purchase intention with t count 3,527 > t table 1.99647, and halal certification has a positive and significant influence on purchase intention where t count > t table is 3,220 > 1.99647. In addition, the three independent variables of product knowledge, attitude and halal certification have a positive and significant influence simultaneously on purchase intention where the value of Fcount 46.109 > Ftable 2,63.

Abstract

Motivation and job satisfaction are several factors that can affect the quality of HR activities in an organization. The purpose of this study was to use BP Batam Land documentation to determine the effect of work motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance. This study used baseline data from a sample of 100 land registrars at BP Batam. This study used data collection methods in the form of observation, questionnaires and documentation, as well as SPSS 25 as a data processing tool. The test method used is multiple linear regression using test-T and test as a hypothesis testing method. The results of this study indicate that work motivation partially has a positive and significant effect on the performance of land document workers at BP Batam. Partially job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on the performance of land documentation officers at BP Batam. Meanwhile, motivation and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on the performance of land documentation workers at BP Batam.
