Abstract

Melalui pendekatan eksegetikal, teks kejadian 11:1-9 diharapkan mampu membawa nilai yang bermanfaat untuk konteks multikultural Indonesia saat ini. Fokus penafsiran yang didekonstruksi adalah dua kata Ibrani pada ayat 7 dan 8, yakni dua kata kunci בָּלַל (bȃlal) berarti “untuk mencampur”, “membaur”, “membingungkan” dan פָּצַץ (poots), berarti “disebarkan” atau “diserakkan” yang mana Allah berperan sebagai subyek yang bertindak “menyebarkan”/”menyerakkan”. Kekacauan bahasa telah memutuskan komunikasi sehingga terasing satu sama lain. Mereka memutuskan untuk berpisah (baca: berserak). Multikultural di Indonesia mengalami ambiguitas. Secara harfiah, rakyat Indonesia sudah tersebar/terserak dari Sabang sampai Merauke dengan latar belakang yang sangat beragam. Secara harfiah pula, בָּלַל (bȃlal) dan פָּצַץ (patsats) sudah tergambar dalam identitas Indonesia. Namun nilai dan spiritnya belum dihidupkan secara maksimal dalam sanubari dan semangat berbangsa dan bernegara. Sesungguhnya spirit ini ada di dalam nilai-nilai Pancasila. Spirit בָּלַל (bȃlal) dan פָּצַץ (patsats) yang terkandung di dalam nilai-nilai Pancasila dan yang dihidupi secara konstan akan mentranformasikan masyarakat dan bangsa sehingga pada gilirannya menolongnya memahami diri dan tanggung jawab di tengah keragaman.

Abstract

The biblical text contains many narratives that are relevant to human problems today. This paper is an exegetical study of the text of Genesis 11: 1-9 which contains a narrative about human arrogance and fear over their abilities and towards human differences. But God broke the arrogance and fear of humans by disrupting their communication. God's purpose is to show that diversity is a necessity. This research was conducted with an exegetical method by combining narrative and semiotic criticism approaches. This critical approach describes who the characters are and their role in the narrative, the narrative plot, the meaning obtained through words/symbols and time, as well as what narrative is discussed and the author's perspective. The purpose of this paper is to deconstruct and find the hidden meaning of the text as well as reconstruct it and discover the implications of the text in multicultural society in Indonesia today. And the conclusion reached is that the biblical narrative is always relevant to human life today. In the context of this paper, the narrative in the Tower of Babel story stresses that God values ​​diversity and that diversity must be lived by everyone.

Abstract

Solidaritas “Hapumpong” Masyarakat Dayak dan Tantangan Koinonia Gereja di Era Kenormalan Baru PSBB dan social and physical distancing yang diberlakukan turut mengubah metode berkoinonia gereja. Dalam konteks masyarakat Dayak, koinonia itu dikenal dengan hapumpong. Hapumpong merupakan potensi lokal yang konsepsional yang oleh jemaat dihadirkan di dalam gereja. Keduanya memiliki nilai yang sama membangun solidaritas. Di era kenormalan baru ini, koinonia gereja yang identik dengan perjumpaan secara fisik menghadapi tantangan. Di tengah tantangan itu, gereja harus mampu menemukan metode ber-koinonia baru dengan nilai solidaritas yang sama dalam jemaat. Tulisan ini mengungkapkan mengenai masyarakat Dayak dalam menghidupi solidaritas hapumpong sebagai yang menghidupi iman, pengharapan, dan kasih umat Tuhan menjadi tantangan tersendiri terhadap panggilan koinonia gereja di era kenormalan baru ini. Abstract

Catechism is a church formation to educate youth consider maturity in faith. Catechization is usually goes for a long period, however, due to Covid-19 pandemic, catechization’s timing become uncertainty and tends to be shorter. This is also happened at GKE Tangkiling as Evangelical Church in Kalimantan. Due to pandemic, implementation of the catechism for youth was carried out within two months. Through this research, the writer describes the catechization activities, catechization material which is packaged in a more concise manner and the way the teacher delivers its material in limited time. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. From the results, it was found that catechism activities were carried out 6-8 times in November to December 2020 with one meeting in one week. Meanwhile, in the second week of December, catechism activities were held four times. Duration of catechism activity was approximately two hours. The material that presented to youth participants was very limited by summarizing the catechism guidelines by GKE. The catechism teacher selects and packs material that is considered very close and relevant to the lives of youth participants, such as good courtship, utilizing one's talents and potential and material about church life. The teacher also chooses sharing method according to the agreement of the catechism participants so that the available time can be used as effectively as possible. Katekisasi merupakan bentuk pembinaan gereja yang bertujuan mendidik remaja kepada kedewasaan iman. Katekisasi biasanya dilakukan dalam jangka waktu yang cukup lama, namun demikian karena pandemi Covid-19 waktu pelaksanaan katekisasi menjadi tidak menentu dan cenderung lebih pendek. Hal ini juga terjadi di GKE Tangkiling, karena pandemi maka pelaksanaan katekisasi sidi dilaksanakan dalam kurun waktu dua bulan. Melalui penelitian ini, penulis mendeskripsikan kegiatan katekisasi, materi katekisasi yang dikemas secara lebih ringkas dan cara pengajar menyampaikan materi katekisasi di tengah keterbatasan waktu di GKE Tangkiling. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa kegiatan katekisasi dilaksanakan 6-8 kali pertemuan pada bulan November s.d Desember Tahun 2020 dengan mekanisme satu kali pertemuan dalam satu minggu. Sedangkan pada minggu kedua pada Bulan Desember, kegiatan katekisasi dilaksanakan empat kali pertemuan. Durasi kegiatan katekisasi dilaksanakan kurang lebih dua jam. Materi yang disampaikan kepada peserta sangat terbatas dengan merangkum dari pedoman katekisasi GKE. Pengajar katekisasi memilih dan mengemas materi yang dianggap sangat dekat dan relevan dengan kehidupan remaja selaku peserta katekisasi sidi seperti, hubungan pacaran yang baik, memanfaatkan talenta dan potensi diri dan materi tentang kehidupan bergereja. Pengajar katekisasi memilih metode sharing sebagaimana kesepakatan peserta katekisasi sehingga waktu yang tersedia dapat digunakan seefektif mungkin. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa keterbatasan waktu dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan katekisasi sidi sehingga berdampak kurang maksimalnya materi disampaikan kepada peserta katekisasi.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the infrastructure that supports student learning outcomes in Christian Religious Education lessons at SMAN 1 Palangka Raya. The research method is qualitative with descriptive research type. Data collection techniques with interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the research of existing infrastructure facilities at SMAN 1 Palangka Raya are in good condition, but still do not meet the standards in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of National Education Number 24 of 2007 Standards for facilities and infrastructure of SMA / MA General Education. In this case there are some that still need to be completed and considered such as religious study rooms whose facilities such as air conditioning and LCD that need to be repaired or replaced, as well as a place of worship that needs to be provided specifically for students who are Christian. The completeness of the existing infrastructure at SMAN 1 Palangka Raya can meet the needs of students and teachers, so that in the process of teaching and learning activities can run effectively and efficiently, and the learning outcomes obtained by students XI MIPA 2 through the learning process are supported by educators and infrastructure.

Abstract

Character education is very important in shaping people's attitudes and behaviors. This research aims to develop character education in Dahuyan Tank Village through socialization activities and making garbage cans. A qualitative method with a descriptive approach is used to understand how this program affects environmental awareness and social values of the community. The results of this study show that socialization accompanied by the creation of garbage cans can increase community awareness and responsibility for the environment, as well as instill values such as cooperation, discipline, and responsibility.
