Abstract

Pandemi covid-19 menyebabkan perubahan pada bidang pendidikan, dimana kegiatan pembelajaran dilaksanakan tidak secara langsung melainkan secara online atau E-learning. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan penggunaan aplikasi whatsapp dalam membantu pemecahan soal  matematika berbasis HOTS. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Sumber data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dengan kepala sekolah, pendidik kelas V, observasi, dan dokumentasi, serta tes yang diberikan pada peserta didik. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis data Miles dan Huberman. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyatakan bahwa kegiatan pembelajaran menggunanakan aplikasi whatssapp dapat membantu memecahkan soal HOTS namun kurang maksimal. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan tingkat keberhasilan peserta didik yang mampu mendapatkan nilai diatas KKM sebesar 58%. Dalam membantu memecahkan soal aplikasi whatssapp tidak bisa berdiri sendiri melainkan butuh dukungan dari aplikasi lain seperti media video yang menarik untuk menyampaikan materi pembelajaran dan menambahkan materi pembelajaran yang diakses melalui aplikasi youtube agar materi yang disampaikan mudah dipahami oleh peserta didik dalam membantu pemecahan soal matematika berbasis HOTS.

Abstract

Mathematics is a subject that is seen by students as a difficult subject. This is due to monotonous learning, especially in the evaluation of learning, especially when learning is done online due to the covid-19 virus. Therefore, alternative learning is needed using interesting learning media. The teacher must choose one of the media applications that can be used as an evaluation tool to measure student understanding during online learning. One of the media used is the educational game Quizizz. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using quiz application media on the timeliness of learning mathematics. The type of research used in this study is quantitative using a quasi-experimental design with a non-quivalent control group design. The population in this study were all fifth grade students of SD Negeri Karangsari, totaling 49 students and all of them were used as samples. Data collection techniques used are test sheets and questionnaires. Data analysis using SPSS program assistance with hypothesis testing with t-test. The results showed that there was an effect of quiz media application on the evaluation of student learning in online learning, this was indicated by the significance value (p) was 0.000. Because the significance of p (0.000) < (0.05), and t-count 55.618 > t-table is 1.678, so the proposed hypothesis is accepted. The increase in students' abilities can be seen from the average score of students in the pre-test of 59.39 and in the post-test the average increases to 72.65

Abstract

This study aimed to determine the effect of using the E-LKPD on elementary school mathematics learning outcomes. This research is motivated by technological developments and the low utilization of E-LKPD in mathematics learning. The research method used is the quantitative method "non-equivalent control group design". This research was conducted in two elementary schools. The population in this study were fifth-grade students and the sample used was 15 students from two schools. The research instrument is E-LKPD. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, documentation, and scores. Data were analyzed using the prerequisite test with three stages, namely, normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The results showed a significant effect on elementary school mathematics learning outcomes, where the average score of students' learning outcomes after using the E-LKPD increased by 12%. The results of the hypothesis test using the paired sample t-test showed that both classes after being treated obtained tcount > ttable but the tcount value in the experimental class was greater than the tcount value in the control class or 7.048 > 6.569, then Ha was accepted and Ho was rejected. This means that the use of E-LKPD can affect the learning outcomes of elementary school mathematics.

Abstract

The background of this community service is the low interest and motivation of students in learning mathematics. The low interest and learning motivation of students, especially in learning mathematics, results in students being lazy to learn mathematics. Mathematics is one of the subjects that is considered quite difficult and even very difficult to learn. This is because the math teacher is fierce and the teacher doesn't do the learning according to the character of the students. To assist in increasing students' interest and learning motivation, especially in mathematics, the author made an effort to make Booktalk, part of the e-module designed by prioritizing the character of students. The author uses the method of developing mathematics learning by utilizing the Canva application, where through this application, educators are taught to develop modules into Booktalk so that learning activities can provide new experiences for students and can increase students' interest and motivation in learning mathematics.

Abstract

Kemampuan literasi dalam era digital memiliki urgensi bagi setiap siswa untuk berpartisipasi secara aktif dalam pembelajaran maupun dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Salah satu kemampuan literasi yang penting dimiliki oleh siswa adalah literasi numerasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui literasi numerasi yang dimiliki oleh siswa kelas 4 sekolah dasar. Indikator kemampuan literasi numerasi digunakan untuk melihat bagaimana literasi numerasi yang dimiliki siswa. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 3 Sidoharjo. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 9 siswa kelas 4 Sekolah dasar. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui Tes tertulis dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa tingkat literasi numerasi yang dimiliki siswa masih rendah. Berdasarkan 3 indikator kemampuan literasi numerasi siswa hanya mampu pada indikator 1 yang memuat tentang analisis informasi dari grafik, tabel, dan diagram.

Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik disebabkan kurangnya penggunaan model pembelajaran yang bervariasi dan pendidik tidak fokus pada proses penyelesaian soal-soal matematika secara representasi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis peserta didik yaitu kemampuan verbal, visual dan simbilik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif. Jenis ekperimen yang digunakan yaitu Quasi Experiment. Sampel penelitian yaitu kelas VA sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VB sebagai kelas kontrol, penentuan sampel dengan cara Cluster Random Sampling. Teknis pengumpulan data yang digunakan berupa tes tertulis dan teknis analisis data yang digunakan adalah statistic non parametric menggunakan uji-t. Hasil analisis uji-t dua pihak diperoleh nilai t-hitung ˃ t-tabel atau 3,23 ˃ 2.05 dan analisis data uji-t satu pihak diperoleh nilai t-hitung ˃ t_tabel atau 3,23 ˃ 1,70. Data hasil penelitian  ini menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan representasi matematis  dengan menggunakan model Project Based Learning (PjBL). Sehingga penggunaan model pembelajaran Project Based Learning (PjBL) dapat meningkatkan kemampuan representasi matematis yang terdiri dari kemampuan verbal, visual dan simbolik.
