Abstract

Mascot is a promotional media that is familiar in promotional media. Several companies to universities have mascots as icons that can represent higher education. UNDIKMA as a new joint-form campus has not used the media in the form of mascots for promotion. considering that NTB is a heterogeneous region with respect to ethnicity, religion, and race, so it requires a mascot as a brand ambassador for UNDIKMA. This is important because in the NTB region there is no tertiary institution that has a mascot. In the previous study, there was no study on mascot creation for universities. The purpose of this research is to design a mascot with a method approach that puts forward the target audience. While the method used is the Design Thinking Method developed by Tim Brown. Design thinking is a way to solve ambiguous and unfamiliar problems, rediscover problems in a human-centered way, brainstorm to generate multiple ideas, and take a hands-on approach. Very useful for prototyping and testing. Design thinking also includes continuous experimentation, such as sketching, prototyping, experimenting, and trying out different concepts and ideas. The target outcome of this research is to hopefully create a mascot design. In addition, it is also hoped that the output in the form of a mascot design guide line will also be successfully written. So that the application of the mascot can be correct and in accordance with the objectives expected by the designer.

Abstract

The development of Lombok's fine arts develops along with the existence of artists in their awareness of work. The existence of the artist is to balance the space so that it becomes a good public lesson for the general public and the generation of artists in particular. The existence of art becomes a forum for the running of the community in a certain scope, therefore it is expected to be the main learning when the amount of formal education is limited. This study seeks to find data on the development of the visual arts community in Lombok as well as an effort to develop literature related to fine art references. The existing community will be a reference for comparison in all forms of activity and archive of artistic activities in each period. The research uses an approach and data analysis approach to determine the existence of developments in art activities through the objectives and planning of visual arts activities. The results of the study show that the visual arts community in Lombok is influenced by the existence of formal and non-formal institutions that are spaces for developing creativity. The number of communities that are formed and active in the activity agenda is still minimal and other art activities are limited to the annual agenda.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang hasil dan faktor penghambat maupun faktor pendukung dari implementasi penumbuhan budi pekerti berbasis kearifan lokal. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan lokasi penelitian di SMP Negeri I Kediri. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah narasumber, dokumentasi dan tempat penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah reduksi data, display data, dan pengambilan kesimpulan. Untuk menguji keabsahan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji trianggulasi. Hasil dari penumbuhan budi pekerti berbasis kearifan lokal yang diterapkan sudah berjalan baik ditunjukan dengan; Terbentuknya komunikasi yang baik antar anggota sekolah sehingga terciptanya nuansa agamis dan rasa kekeluargaan yang tinggi dalam melaksanakan visi, misi, dan tujuan sekolah secara bersama. Terhadap kegiatan proses pembelajaran di sekolah, terciptanya suasana lingkungan belajar yang nyaman, bersih, dan kondusif di sekolah yang diiringi dengan peningkatan prestasi dan penghargaan yang diperoleh sekolah. Adapun faktor penghambat dalam implementasi penumbuhan budi pekerti berbasis kearifan lokal yang diterapkan sekolah adalah masih terdapat guru di sekolah yang masih belum menerima sertifikasi sehingga memungkinkan terjadinya kecemburuan sosial antara sesama guru, masih adanya siswa yang terlambat datang kesekolah secara berulang, Masih belum terbentuknya kesadaran siswa terhadap penggunaan media sosial secara bijak. Sedangkan faktor pendukung dalam pelaksanaan penumbuhan budi pekerti berbasis kearifan lokal adalah peran sumberdaya manusianya yang utama, peran top lider dalam hal ini adalah kepala sekolah dalam mengelola potensi dari seluruh stake holder serta komponen yang ada di sekolah menjadi salah satu kunci dalam memanajememen program sekolah, Sosialisasi maupun pembinaan secara rutin dengan memanfaatkan media tertentu, pendekatan secara personal yang dilakukan pengawas, kepala sekolah, maupun guru terhadap siswa.

Abstract

Dalam penelitian ini membahas tentang penerapan Penerapan Motif Hias Pada Kendi Maling dari segi proses dan teknik penerapannya karya dari salah seorang pengerajin gerabah Ismail Marzuki. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yaitu penelitian yang menggambarkan atau mendeskripsikan tentang informasi yang diperoleh dari suatu hasil pengamatan atau fenomena tertentu yang kemudian di gambarkan dalam bentuk kata-kata. Variabel dalam penelitian ini adalah menggunakan variabel tunggal yaitu penerapan hiasan pada kendi maling karya Ismail Marzuki. subjek penelitian ini adalah hasil karya ismail Marzuki pada kendi maling, sedangkan objek penelitian ini adalah Penerapan motif hias pada kendi maling karya Ismail Marzuki, instrument yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah check list (lembar pengamatan), questioner, alat perekam dan camera. Stelah itu peneliti melakukan analisis dari hasil data yang diperoleh di lapangan. Dari hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulka proses dan teknik dalam penerapan motif hias pada kendi maling karya Ismail Marzuki adalah dengan menggunakan teknik cat/ lukis, teknik tempel yaitu teknik tempel dengan menggunakan kertas kulit telur dan teknik tempel menggunakan kulit telur secara langsung, terakhir yaitu menggunakan teknik ukir dengan alat yang tergolong sederhana.

Abstract

Gendang Beleq banyak berkembang dan dikenal di Pulau Lombok. Bentuk kesenian ini merupakan hasil kolaborasi antara alat musik gendang beleq dengan alat musik ritmis dan melodis yang terbuat dari kuningan. Pertunjukan gendang beleq di Pulau Lombok Kususnya di SMPN 1 Batu Layar Lombok Barat menyajikan gending- gending tradisional Pulau Lombok yang disajikan dengan alat musik gamelan. Tujuan pengabdian ini adalah untuk memberikan pengetahuan cara memainkan alat musik tradisional Suku Sasak di Pulau Lombok Khususnya siswa kelas VII di SMPN 1 Batu Layar Lombok Barat. Mitra ddalam kegitan ini adalah SMP Negeri 1 Batu layer. Langkah-langkah pelaksanaan meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan, evalusi. Adapun hasil kegitan pengabdian secara umum dapat dinyatakan terlaksana dengan baik. Ini terlihat dari indikator respon peserta yakni nilai rata-rata repon sebelum pembelajaran mencapai 40% sedangkan setelah kegitan pelatihan mencapai 93 % dengan rata-rata peningkatan 53%. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan pelatihan musk tradisional dapat dinyatakan berhasil. Keberhasialn kegitan ini tidak terlevas dari rasa ingin tahu dan motivasi peserta selama kegiatan pelatihan. kegiatan-kegitan pengenalan dan pelatihan penting untuk digalakkan karena menjad bagian melestarkan budaya. Gendang Beleq Traditional Music Training for the SMPN 1 Batu Layar, West Lombok Regency The Beleq drum has developed and is well known on the island of Lombok. This art form is the result of a collaboration between the beleq drum and rhythmic and melodic musical instruments made of brass. Beleq gendang performances on Lombok Island. Especially at SMPN 1 Batu Layar, West Lombok, present traditional Lombok Island songs which are presented with gamelan instruments. The purpose of this service is to provide knowledge on how to play traditional musical instruments of the Sasak tribe on Lombok Island, especially for class VII students at SMPN 1 Batu Layar, West Lombok. The partner in this activity is SMP Negeri 1 Batulayer. Implementation steps include preparation, implementation, evaluation. As for the results of community service activities in general, it can be stated that it has been carried out well. This can be seen from the participant response indicators, namely the average response value before learning reached 40%, while after the training activities it reached 93% with an average increase of 53%. This shows that traditional musk training activities can be declared successful. The success of this activity is inseparable from the curiosity and motivation of the participants during the training activities. Introduction activities and training are important to be encouraged because they are part of preserving culture.

Abstract

Permasalahan dalam pelaksanakan pengabdian ini adalah Pemahaman dan kemampuan menulis surat dinas guru mengenai sistematika penulisan surat dinas masih rendah, Pemahaman guru berkaitan dengan Pedoman Umum Ejaan Bahasa Indonesia (PUEBI) dan Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) masih rendah, Beberapa guru belum terbiasa menggunakan laptop atau komputer, Belum adanya teori baku dalam penulisan surat dinas. Metode yang digunakan dalam pelatihan menulis surat dinas bagi guru SDN 11 Sakra Kabupaten Lombok Timur adalah ceramah, demonstransi, dan praktik. Metode ceramah digunakan saat menyampaikan materi tentang ruang lingkup menulis surat dinas dan saat melakukan tanya serta jawab dengan peserta. Metode demonstrasi digunakan ketika memberikan contoh penulisan surat dinas. Selain itu, metode praktik dilakukan oleh peserta dalam menulis surat dinas dan mengetik menggunakan komputer maupun laptop. Hasil pengabdian ini adalah Bentuk kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia yang ditemukan pada surat dinas guru SDN 11 Sakra kabupaten Lombok Timur di antaranya kesalahan dalam bidang morfologi, sintaksis, diksi, danejaan, Bentuk kesalahan berbahasa yang paling banyak dilakukan oleh guru SDN 11 Sakra Kabupaten Lombok Timur adalah kesalahan ejaan, Faktor-faktor penyebab kesalahan berbahasa Indonesia yang terjadi pada guru di SDN 11 Sakra Kabupaten Lombok Timur, yaitu: a) motivasi dan sikab berbahasa guuru tergolong masih kurang, b) belum adanya pelatihan penulisan surat dinas dari pemerintah, dan c) guru belum terbiasa memanfaatkan komputer atau laptop dalam pendukung penulisan surat dinas.

Abstract

In this study the aims to find out how the implementation of art and cultural learning activities was implemented by teachers in increasing students' creativity and knowledge starting from the planning, implementation and evaluation stages as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of local wisdom-based art materials in class VII art and culture subjects at MTsN 1 West Lombok. Data collection techniques were carried out by interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results of this study indicate that: (1) Cultural arts learning planning is poured into teacher learning tools but still needs to be further developed with reference to local wisdom. In visual art material, the teacher maps learning concepts that focus on two-dimensional works, namely drawing flora, fauna and natural objects as well as drawing decorations with reference to traditional regional motifs. (2) The implementation of fine arts materials is directed so that students are able to appreciate and create fine arts, learning activities are not only focused in the classroom. (3) Evaluation of fine arts material is carried out by the teacher in writing and from the two-dimensional works made by students to find out how far students' understanding of the material has increased. (4) Supporting factors are influenced by high student enthusiasm, mastery and method of delivering material interesting by the teacher and the atmosphere of a beautiful and comfortable school environment. The inhibiting factors are that not all students have tools and materials to support practical activities, lack of references to traditional motifs, lack of guidance to teachers in designing and developing lesson plans that refer to  local wisdom.

Abstract

East Mareje Village with forest potential and the beauty of natural scenery and hills that have been given by God in this village, as the initial foundation carried out by the East Mareje village government to build and develop a tourist attraction in this case is the Embung Pandan Wangi area which is located in the hills of Mareje Village East. The number of dead trees in the Embung Pandan Wangi area has not been able to be utilized optimally by residents so that they are left lying around in the tourist attraction area. This is one of the concerns of the East Mareje village head in developing the natural potential of his village. The method used in this service is to provide guidance in supporting supporting facilities in the tourist area of ​​​​the pandan fragrant reservoir and training on the use of wood waste to increase the creativity of residents. The results of the implementation of service activities that have been carried out are several things that have been achieved, including: 1) Provide guidance to the people of East Mareje Village regarding the development of infrastructure facilities at the Embung Pandan Wangi tourism object by utilizing wood waste, 2) Conduct training to increase community creativity through the use of wood waste into handicraft products.

Abstract

This community service aimed to train weavers in order to have ability and skill in developing motif and color on Lombok songket. The community service is done in UD. Undur Pasang that produces and sells Lombok songket and the weavers as the participants of this community service. Preparation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation are the three methods applied in this community service. In preparation phase, through discussion between team and weavers. In the second phase, community service team prepare materials for training and trained those weavers to develop motifs by drawing and adjust the image on color of songket and followed by application in weaving activity. In monitoring and evaluation phase, community service team observed all results related to new motifs and color of songket. Through this training activity, weavers do not only have ability to draw and determine the point or line that become benchmark of formation motifs but also skill in harmonizing the motifs with yarn during weaving. The result of this training produced new motifs and color of songket without changing the characteristic motif of  UD. Undur Pasang products.
