Abstract

Kecepatan 20 knot memiliki sudut serang hidrofoil terbaik sebesar 30 derajat. Kecepatan 30 knot memiliki sudut serang hidrofoil terbaik sebesar 20 derajat. Kecepatan 40 knot kapal sudah mencapai kondisi stall dimana kapal hidrofoil sudah kehilangan gaya angkat.

Abstract

In this article, we propose and analyze a mathematical model of COVID-19 transmission among a closed population, with social awareness and rapid test intervention as the control variables. For this, we have constructed the model using a compartmental system of the ordinary differential equations. Dynamical analysis regarding the existence and local stability of equilibrium points is conducted rigorously. Our analysis shows that COVID-19 will disappear from the population if the basic reproduction number is less than one, and persist if the basic reproduction number is greater than one. In addition, we have shown a trans-critical bifurcation phenomenon based on our proposed model when the basic reproduction number equals one. From the elasticity analysis, we have observed that rapid testing is more promising in reducing the basic reproduction number as compared to a media campaign to improve social awareness on COVID-19. Using the Pontryagin Maximum Principle (PMP), the characterization of our optimal control problem is derived analytically and solved numerically using the forward-backward iterative algorithm. Our cost-effectiveness analysis shows that using rapid test and media campaigns partially are the best intervention strategy to reduce the number of infected humans with the minimum cost of intervention. If the intervention is to be implemented as a single intervention, then using solely the rapid test is a more promising and low-cost option in reducing the number of infected individuals vis-a-vis a media campaign to increase social awareness as a single intervention.

Abstract

The need for dredgers for the shallow water in the sea with a very high level of siltation on the coast of Indonesia is a factor worth considering. For example, coastal areas in Ujung Pangkah sub-district, Gresik district, East Java province. The choice of the area is due to the many institutions and corporations that are back and forth utilizing these waterways. But the main obstacle to making a Cutter Suction Dredger (CSD) is almost all the equipment needed is imported, for example, the main equipment is the cutter head. Therefore looking at the needs, economics and technology factors, this paper will discuss the cutter head design. Available data is a request from the owner, 40KW power cutter head; 1000mm cutter diameter; 30rpm rotation. The force distribution given 5950 N is in accordance with the dredging condition which is to have a strong material tension to be estimated to work at a relatively Soft density of <100 Mpa and Medium around 100Mpa - 170Mpa. The expected results of this design are to obtain a proportional design before the production process and to function at a minimum according to specifications. The usefulness of this design really hopes to be followed up to the production stage and can be applied.

Abstract

As a maritime nation, the majority of people's livelihood in Indonesia coast is as a fishermen. The process of preserving fish after being caught will determine how good the product quality. One of process on preserving fish that can be done is to perform the cooling process using a cooling machine on board. Refrigeration system certainly requires high electrical power consumption. That high power usage can be reduced as much as possible, one of which is to add chopped ice (ice flake) on a fishing boat cargo space. So that the load for cooling can be reduced. The purpose of this thesis is to find out how the influence of the addition of ice flake on cooling load in the cargo hold of fishing vessels, and to know how much power is used when the cooling machine is combined with the addition of ice flake. In this analysis cooling load calculation refers to the standard ISO 7547.from the results of analysis found that the addition of ice flake on cargo space can reduce cooling load and can reduce electricity consumption day in the main vessel for the addition comparison flake ice and fish weight of 1: 1.

Abstract

This paper provides analysis regarding a phenomenal hull shape called flat panel concept, the flat panel hull is an axe bow vessel at the front part and semi trimaran at the stern part. This concept is for a small vessel such as fishing vessels, patrol vessels and prototypes have been built. Resistance and motion is important part of a vessel design, this paper compares a flat plate vessel with 282.56 ton displacement with a conventional vessel with the same displacement and same speed. The resistance comparison was conducted using Computational Fluid Dynamic (CFD) on each ship with a speed range of 5-10 knots of operational speed. The resistance shows that the flat panel vessel generates higher resistance compared to the conventional vessel where the difference varies from 8.388% to 19.954% depending on the speed. It also found that the pitch motion (Ry) of flat panel vessel is positive that indicates the bow draft is lower during the simulation in calm water. The highest value of pitch is 1.13 degrees measured at the amidships or zero point or -0.3 m at the bow. Two While the relative velocity or flow analysis indicates that flow of the flat panel vessel has enormous turbulence flow around the stern hull and smoother flow pattern at the bow, this may cause the increase of resistance and bow diving in calm water phenomena. However since the most accurate test is based on model test in hydrodynamic laboratory, it is recommended to conduct the comparison experiment in hydrodynamic laboratory.
