Abstract

Perkembangan dan pemanfaatan teknologi telah merambah ke berbagai lini kehidupan. Generasi yang lahir pada era Digital Native telah mengenal dan memanfaatkan teknologi sedari usia dini. Sehingga tidak dapat dipungkiri membuat proses berfikir, tingkah laku, dan cara belajar generasi tersebut berbeda dengan generasi sebelumnya yang dikenal sebagai generasi Digital Imigrant. Pemanfaatan teknologi pada usia dini memberikan dampak positiv maupun negative. Pemanfaatan teknologi oleh anak usia dini butuh bimbingan dari orang tua. Karena teknologi tidak hanya menyajikan konten positive, namun di dalam teknologi juga terdapat aspek negative. Perlu dilakukannya filterisasi pemanfaatan teknologi bagi anak usia dini oleh orang tua. Jika dilakukan pengarahan pemanfaatan teknologi yang baik dan tepat oleh orang tua, maka teknologi dapat menjadi sebuah sarana belajar yang menyenangkan bagi anak usia dini. Aplikasi bermain dan hiburan anak-anak banyak tersedia pada teknologi, dan tidak sedikit dari aplikasi permaianan dan hiburan yang tersaji pada gadget menggunakan bahasa inggris. Artikel ini berupa studi kepustakaan (library research), yaitu serangkaian penelitian yang berkenaan dengan metode pengumpulan data pustaka. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan filosofis dan pedagogis. Berdasarkan tinjauan pustaka yang dilakukan, pemanfaatan teknologi oleh anak pra sekolah di era digital native dapat menambah pemerolehan bahasa inggris anak usia dini dalam bentuk vocabularry.Keyword : Gadget, Anak Usia Dini, Digital Native

Abstract

The advantage of instructional media based on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) is that it can help learning activities. The learning activities that utilize ICT-based instructional media can support the success of learning objectives. This study aims to determine the role of teachers in utilizing learning media that uses ICT in elementary schools. This is related to the problem of developing teacher competence in the use of ICT in learning. To obtain research data used survey research methods. Data were obtained from teachers at the 13 Pasar Remaja Elementary School, Lembah Segar District, Sawahlunto City, West Sumatra. The data was collected using a questionnaire and the research data were analyzed using the percentage technique. The results of this study pointed out that 53.3% of teachers at the Sawahlunto City Elementary School realize the importance of ICT-based instructional media but have not utilized them optimally because they are constrained by skills in the field of ICT.

Abstract

This research develops learning media products in the form of Minang language story books for learning Minangkabau Natural Culture. This subject is one of the local content subjects at the Padang City Elementary School, West Sumatra Province. The development of this learning media is motivated by the learning needs of Minangkabau Natural Culture which does not yet have an alternative media in the learning process. This study uses a development research approach using the ADDIE model which consists of the Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation stages. This research is very important to do because it sees the lack of learning media developed for Minangkabau Natural Culture subjects for elementary school students. The results showed that the developed learning media had a good usability level with an average score of 89.1%. Testing the effectiveness of the learning media also showed a score of 85.6% in the very good category. Thus, from the results of the development carried out, it can be concluded that the use of learning media can improve students' understanding and learning outcomes of Minangkabau Natural Culture Subjects in elementary schools.

Abstract

Penelitian Efektivitas Pemanfaatan Perpustakaan Digital selaku Sumber Belajar Terhadap Hasil Belajar di SMAN 1 Lubuk Basung dilatar belakangi efektifnya pemanfaatan perpustakaan digital di SMAN 1 Lubuk Basung terbukti dengan banyaknya siswa yang mengakses dan meminjam buku di perpustakaan digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk 1) mendeskripsikan gambaran pemanfaatan perpustakaan digital selaku sumber belajar siswa di SMAN 1 Lubuk Basung, 2) mendeskripsikan gambaran hasil belajar pada siswa di SMAN 1 Lubuk Basung, dan 3) melihat efektivitas pemanfaatan perpustakaan digital sebagai sumber belajar terhadap hasil belajar SMA Negeri 1 Lubuk Basung.Jenis penelitian yatu penelitian korelasional. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu SMAN 1 Lubuk Basung XI. kelas, total 77 sampel. Teknik pengambilan sampel memakai stratified proportional random sampling. Instrumen yang dipakai terhadap penelitian yaitu menggunakan angket tertutup dengan uji korelasi Pearson dengan rumus product-moment. Hasil penelitian memperlihatkan yaitu (1) Penggunaan perpustakaan digital berada pada kategori “baik” sebesar 68,83 persen, (2) hasil belajar “tinggi” sebesar 66,23 persen, dan (3) Terdapat hubungan positif antara kedua variabel dan signifikan pada pemanfaatan perpustakaan digital (X) dan hasil belajar (Y) di siswa dengan rhitung = 0,933 dan nilai rtabel dengar n = 77 pada taraf kepercayaan 5% yaitu (0,227) atau taraf kepercayaan 1% yaitu (0,296 )

Abstract

The Independent Curriculum is one of the innovative efforts in education that aims to increase the meaning and relevance of the learning process for students. The Independent Curriculum has been implemented in several schools or educational institutions, but it still needs to be understood more deeply about how this approach is responded to and interpreted by stakeholders, especially teachers as direct implementers in the classroom. The implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the Padang State University Laboratory Development Elementary School is the main focus of this research. This article describes the teacher's interpretation of the implementation of the Independent Curriculum in the school environment which aims to understand how teachers respond to and integrate important aspects of this curriculum into everyday learning practices. Research that uses a descriptive quantitative approach with percentage techniques. The results of this study are that most of the indicators for implementing the Independent Curriculum are in the very high and high categories. This means that teachers in Laboratory Elementary Schools show a strong commitment to contribute positively to the implementation of the Independent Curriculum. The indicator of experience in participating in the Independent Curriculum training/workshop is still in the low category. So that follow-up is needed in the form of providing Free Curriculum training for teachers so that competence and understanding in implementing the Independent Curriculum are better.
