Abstract

Productivity is one of the materials studied in ecology courses. As a result of the interview, many students still have difficulty in understanding this material and lecturers also have difficulty designing learning that connects context with the environment. Therefore, student learning activities need to be designed with a STEM approach. The research aims to produce a learning trajectory to help students on productivity materials using STEM approaches. The method used in this research is a design research type validation study consisting of three stages: preparing for the experiment, experiment in the classroom (pilot experiment & Teaching experiment), and restrospective analysis. The research subjects were 6 students and 3 lecturers. Research instruments in the form of interview sheets for students and lecturers and using student metacognitive questionnaires. The results of this study show that through a series of activities that have been done, learning using STEM can help students understand productivity materials and become a starting point in the learning process

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguatkan kompetensi literasi numerasi peserta didik dengan menggunakan Lembar Kerja Peserta Didik (LKPD) berbasis model pembelajaran ASICC pada materi sistem saraf jenjang SMA. Pengembangan LKPD dilakukan dengan Design Research tipe Development Study yang meliputi tahapan preliminary dan formative evaluation mengacu pada formative evaluation Tessmer yang terdiri dari 5 tahap yaitu self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, small group, dan field test. Penelitian dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 1 Prambon, Kabupaten Nganjuk selama 6 bulan. Desain LKPD di vaildasi oleh validator ahli dan validator praktisi melalui Forum Group Discussion (FGD). Hasil validasi oleh validator ahli diperoleh 87% dan 93% dengan kategori sangat valid, selanjutnya hasil dari validator praktisi diperoleh 80% dengan kategori valid. Kemudian, hasil uji kepraktisan oleh guru dan peserta didik menggunakan instrumen kepraktisan diperoleh 80% dari guru dengan kategori praktis, 81% peserta didik dengan kategori sangat praktis, dan 19% peserta didik dengan kategori praktis. Data yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini skor pre-test 43,96% dan skor post-test 83,36% yang menunjukkan adanya peningkatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan LKPD berbasis model pembelajaran ASICC pada materi sistem saraf valid dan layak digunakan untuk menguatkan kompetensi literasi numerasi peserta didik, karena dinyatakan sangat valid oleh vaildator ahli dan valid oleh validator praktisi, dan dinyatakan praktis oleh guru dan peserta didik, serta dapat meningkatkan kompetensi literasi numerasi peserta didik.

Abstract

Strengthening literacy and numeracy is a mandate of national education policy, as stipulated in Government Regulation No. 57 of 2021 and implemented through the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). However, science assessments in schools are still dominated by memorization-based questions that do not integrate real-world contexts and data representation. This study aims to develop and formatively validate a science assessment design for environmental change material based on Environmental Damage Issues to integrate literacy and numeracy contextually and ensure its feasibility and acceptability by junior high school students. The study used an educational design research approach with the Tessmer formative evaluation model. Data were collected through expert validation and student responses in one-to-one, small group, and field test stages, then analyzed descriptively and qualitatively. The results showed that 25 items were deemed feasible and acceptable. The integration of narrative text, graphs, tables, and diagrams encouraged data interpretation and contextual problem-solving.
