Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the MNR method in mathematics learning delivered by Ridwan Hasan in the TVRI program "Belajar di Rumah". This research used descriptive qualitative method with phenomenological approach. The informants in this research were students in V grade of Elementary School in 2020/2021 academic year at Pringkuku District, Pacitan city. The sampling technique used was a purposive sampling. The data collection technique was done by observation, interviews, and analysis documents. The data validity test used source triangulation and time triangulation. Data analysis used Miles and Huberman's model. The results of this study indicate that MNR method is quite helpful for students in understanding Mathematics during online learning. The MNR method steps that Pak Ridwan presented are in accordance with the MNR syntax theory. The display of the segment "Gemar Matematika Bersama Pak Ridwan" which uses animations and interactive images makes students interested in Mathematics learning. A unique variation in learning is the use of traditional clothing that changes every day which attracts the curiosity of students. Apart from functioning as variations in learning, the use of traditional clothing is also beneficial for students to gain new knowledge and insights about customs in IndonesiaKeywords: Mathematics, Online learning, MNR method, Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the results of the analysis of students' understanding of mathematical concepts, and the indicators that are mastered and not yet mastered by students in terms of area and circumference of flat shapes for YouTube video media during the limited PTM period. The research method used is descriptive qualitative method with case study. The subjects in this study were students of class IVA at SDN Panularan No. 6 Surakarta in the academic year 2021/2022. The number of students as many as 28 people. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is analysis according to Miles and Huberman through 3 stages, including data reduction, data presentation, data verification/conclusion. The results showed that students' understanding of mathematical concepts on the area and perimeter of flat shapes using youtube video media in class IVA SDN Panularan No.06 Surakarta was generally in the medium category. In this study, 5 indicators of mathematical concept understanding were used, 3 indicators were categorized as medium, and 2 indicators were categorized as low. Indicators included in the moderate category include: restating the concepts learned, presenting concepts in mathematical form, developing the requirements of a concept by choosing procedures to be used in solving problems, while the 2 indicators are classifying objects according to certain properties based on mathematical concepts , and applying the concept in a problem is still low.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui minat belajar dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat belajar siswa kelas IV SDN Panularan 06 Surakarta. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV dan guru kelas IV SDN Panularan. Sumber data berasal dari guru dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa minat belajar siswa cukup tinggi pada pembelajaran tatap muka terbatas dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi minat belajar sangat berpengaruh pada siswa.

Abstract

Abstract. This study aimed to (1) described the type of student error in solving fractional arithmetic operation story problem, (2) described the factor that cause student to made mistake in solving fractional counting operation story problem and, (3) described solution to correct student error in solving fractional calculation operation story problem. This research was a descriptive qualitative researched. The subject in this study was class V student and class V teacher at SD Negeri Setono. Data collection techniques used test question result, interview result, and observation. The data validity test technique used source triangulation technique. The data analysis technique used Miles and Huberman which includes 4 stages, namely: (1) data collection, (2) data reduction, (3) data presentation, (4) drawing conclusion. The results showed that the analysis of students' errors in solving story problem about calculating operations on error indicators interpreted mathematical symbols 8.90%, error in formulating a problem solving model 44.07%, transformation errors 9.26%, mathematical skill errors 14.81%, and final answer writing skills 22.96%. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the analysis of student errors in solving story questions about fractional calculation operations on error indicators formulating a problem solving model was the most common indicator.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung perkalian siswa Kelas III SD Negeri Panularan No.06 Surakarta. Penelitian ini berupa penelitian tindakan kelas dengan menggunakan model dari Kemmis and Mc Taggart yang memiliki empat tahapan pada setiap siklusnya, seperti perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Model penelitian Kemmis and Mc Tanggart merupakan bagian dari konsep dasar yang diterbitkan oleh  Krt Lewin atau biasa dikenal dengan model penelitian spiral. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SD Panularan. Teknik pengmpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan cara wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan test. Teknik uji validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi seperti guru kelas dan dosen validator. Data penelitian menunjukan bahwa penggunaan metode jarimatika dalam pembelajaran dinyatakan sangat layak dalam meningkatkan kemampuan menghitung perkalian siswa. Tingkat kelayakan metode jarimatika berdasarkan data penelitian yang diperoleh, yaitu :1. pratindakan nilai rata-rata 62.62. Siklus I nilai rata-rata 66,913. Siklus 2 nilai rata-rata 82,28

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model to the multiplication of grade III students. About the implementation of learning, model syntax, and interaction and interest in learning multiplication. The research subjects were teachers and third grade students. This research is a descriptive qualitative research based on field phenomena. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data validity is used with data triangulation techniques. The analysis technique used is the data analysis technique of Miles and Huberman. The results of this study indicate that the teacher has carried out learning through the application of models very well. Teachers have implemented innovative learning with the TGT model, through student-centered learning, contact of view, active involvement of students, enthusiasm and interest in learning, and good interaction. The problem is solved by using an innovative tgt type model. Teachers have long used the tgt model to learn multiplication, adapting the 2013 curriculum and innovative learning. So that it can be seen that the success in applying the tgt model to understanding, interest in learning and multiplication learning outcomes of students at SDN Pondok is quite good.
