Abstract

A system analysis and design of purple sweet potatoes instant porridge product development is design elements that interact using the system input of purple sweet potatoes as raw material which is operated by the stage of formulation, analysis, and optimization. The purpose of this research are determine the appropriate process parameters in producing purple sweet potatoes instant porridge, as well as to optimize the proportion of components in the production of purple sweet potatoes instant porridge, which are the purple sweet potatoes as raw material, water, CMC and dextrin; those which affect the responses: yield, rehydrating capacity, voluminous density and stickiness in the mouth. Production system modeling purple sweet potatoes instant porridge simulated using and Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN). The result of analysis are the proportion of purple sweet potatoes instant porridge components; which is purple sweet potatoes, water, CMC and dextrin, has significant effect on the level of 5% to the responses of yield, capacity rehydration, voluminous density, and stickiness in the mouth. The optimization process generates the formula for instant porridge with proportion of 25.00% purple sweet potatoes, 73.03% water, 0.00% CMC and 1.97% dextrin to the value of desirability 0.662. The parameters contained in the model were validated by checking the model design. The validation result with no error and warning concluded that the parameters used in designing the model are appropriate.

This brings the concept of a new coffee shop business model; it is called Coffee to Go. There are so many Coffee to Go in Bogor City, which makes the industry more competitive. This study aims to know Katuhu Coffee's consumer target's characteristics and consumer behavior, customer satisfaction index of Katuhu, importance and performance index of Katuhu Coffee's marketing mix, and formulate marketing strategies for Katuhu Coffee. This research uses the importance-performance analysis (IPA) and customer satisfaction index (CSI) method. The CSI of Katuhu Coffee is 77.2 percent with menu variants, convenient place, doing endorsement, and doing promos in online stores are the attributes need to be fixed. The resulting strategy based on priority includes (1) Innovative menus and product size for coffee and non-coffee menus; (2) Increasing online store promos; (3) Increasing doing endorsement and Instagram ads; (4) Increasing convenience in offline store services; and (5) Expanding Katuhu Coffee sales channel. Keywords: coffee in era 4.0, coffee to go, coffee milk, consumer satisfaction, CSI, IPA

Abstract

Abandoned cats and dogs have the right to a decent life. In Indonesia, there are still many abandoned cats and dogs with various conditions that are not good. This research aims to design the right crowdfunding platform that can answer community problems in improving animal welfare. Respondents in this study were pet lovers (cat/dog lovers). Data is obtained by filling out questionnaires in in-depth interviews. The method used in this study is design thinking. This method can solve user-centered problems. The design thinking stages include empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. The results showed that crowdfunding is one solution to solve the problems and challenges faced by the community in caring for abandoned cats/dogs. The design of a verified business model in the form of a crowdfunding platform for abandoned cats and dogs named Care-pet is a solution that can improve animal welfare.
