Abstract

This research was conducted by the problem of population differences bintangur in Sei Tembesi and Bukit Tiban Protected Forest allegedly influenced by macro nutrient content in the soil. The study was conducted using a survey method. Samples were taken by purposive by following along a 100 m transect lines that divide the contour lines. Transect were initiated at least 50 m from the edge of the forest that are placed propossionally and prioritized on location around bintangur population. Soil sampling conducted on the soil surface of ± 5 cm to a depth of ± 25 cm from the soil surface. Based on the research that there are differences in soil organic matter content in the protected forest and macro nutrient in the soil. Soil pH is at the same relativity value, but that value is an extreme value when compared with the value according to criteria of Soil Chemical Properties. This soil conditions is able to inhibit the growth of bintangur. Bintangur population in both of the protected forest can be maintained through soil conservation biological. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan perbedaan populasi bintangur di Hutan Lindung Sei Tembesi dan Bukit Tiban yang diduga dipengaruhi oleh kandungan hara makro di dalam tanah. Penelitian dilakukan menggunakan metode survei. Sampel diambil dengan cara purposive dengan mengikuti jalur transek sepanjang 100 m yang membelah garis kontur. Jalur transek tersebut dimulai minimal 50 m dari tepi hutan yang ditempatkan secara proporsional dan diprioritaskan pada lokasi sekitar populasi bintangur. Pengambilan sampel tanah dilakukan pada permukaan tanah ± 5 cm pada kedalaman ± 25 cm dari permukaan tanah. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh informasi bahwa terdapat perbedaan kandungan bahan organik tanah di kedua hutan lindung tersebut dan kandungan hara makro di dalam tanah. pH tanah berada pada nilai yang relatif sama, namun nilai tersebut merupakan nilai yang ekstrim bila dibandingkan dengan Kriteria Penilaian Sifat Kimia Tanah. Kondisi tanah seperti itu mampu menghambat pertumbuhan bintangur. Populasi bintangur di kedua hutan lindung tersebut dapat dipertahankan melalui konservasi tanah secara biologi.

Abstract

This research was aimed for knowing the influence of  EM-4 (effective microorganism-4) addition and the most effective concentration of EM-4 in compost media for straw mushroom (Volvariella volvacea (Bull. ex Fr.) Sing) production. The treatment examined the use of EM-4 solution divided into six treatments and four repetitions. EM-4 concentration from 0 ml/l – 12,5 ml/l with an interval increasing of 2,5 ml/l. The addition of 7,5 ml/l – 12,5 ml/l concentration of EM-4 did not give so different result with the control media. Composting with addition of 5 ml/l EM-4 gave the highest straw mushroom production (2272,25 g). Statistically the result showed that the concentrations of EM-4 had no significant effect on the mushroom production.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kandungan fitokimia, mengukur aktivitas antibakteri, konsentrasi efektif, dan pengaruh peningkatan konsentrasi ekstrak etanol dari daun C. frustescens L terhadap daya hambat pertumbuhan bakteri Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli dan Pseudomonas sp. Pengujian aktivitas antibakteri menggunakan metode sumur difusi. Parameter yang diukur adalah besarnya diameter daya hambat/zona bening yang terbentuk. Hasil uji aktivitas antibakteri dianalisis dengan metode one way anova dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa konsentrasi ekstrak 80; 90; dan 100% telah memberikan aktivitas daya hambat pertumbuhan bakteri uji. Konsentrasi ekstrak etanol daun C. frustescens L yang paling efektif adalah 80% untuk bakteri S. aureus, 90% untuk Pseudomonas sp, dan 100% untuk E. coli dimana zona hambat berturut-turut adalah 2.94 cm, 2.14 cm, dan 1.58 cm. Ekstrak Daun C. frustescent L. mengandung zat aktif berupa alkaloid, flavonoid, triterpenoid steroid, fenol, tetapi tidak terbukti mengandung saponin.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran E-Modul merupakan media pembelajaran yang merupakan salah satu alternatif yang dapat digunakan sebagai media edukasi, selain untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan minat belajar siswa, mengoptimalkan pembagian kerja dalam kelompok, media ini dikembangkan untuk menghindari terjadinya berpikir abstrak, suatu kesan negatif yang dibiarkan terjadi sejak mereka masih kecil, yang pada akhirnya hingga dewasa kesan negatif tersebut membosankan dan membuat siswa menjadi jenuh. Studi terkait dengan pengembangan instrumen untuk mengukur penggunaan komik online sebagai media edukasi di kalangan perguruan tinggi masih terbatas. Studi survey telah dilaksanakan terhadap 60 orang mahasiswa dari berbagai program studi yang di Universitas Terbuka.Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan kuesioneronline kemudian data dianalisis menggunakan analisis data kuantitatif berbantuan program SPSS versi 23.00 for Windows. Hasil penelitian ini telah membuktikan bahwa: 1) penyusunan dan pengembangan instrument evaluasi penggunaan komik online bagi mahasiswa dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan model pengembangan teoretik untuk menguji tujuh konstruk penelitian, yaitu a) komponen didaktif, b) konstruksi komik online, c) teknis komik online, d) kemudahan dalam penggunaan, e) efisiensi komik online, f) manfaat, dan g) minat; 2) hasil dari pengujian validitas konstruk dan reliabilitas menunjukkan bahwa validitas instrument evaluasi penggunaan komik online bagi mahasiswa telah memenuhi kriteria valid karena nilai r-hitung > r-tabel (rhitung> 0,254); dan 3) reliabilitas instrument evaluasi penggunaan komik online bagi mahasiswa yang telah disusun dan dikembangkan dalam penelitian ini juga telah memenuhi kategori tinggi yang ditunjukkan dengan besarnya koefisien reliabiltas alpha cronbach sebesar 0,980.Hal ini mengindikasikan bahwa instrumen yang dikembangkan memenuhi persyaratan untuk digunakan dalam mengukur penggunaan komik online bagi mahasiswa.

Abstract

Problems that are often faced by educators in measuring the level of understanding of students' concepts are questions that are made to have a low cognitive level and short answers which make the questions unable to properly measure the students' understanding. This study is useful in describing how the feasibility of a concept understanding assessment instrument is. The research design in this study is Research and Development based on the Borg & Gall model by only carrying out 5 steps due to several reasons. The subject of this research is an instrument for assessing the ability to understand concepts. The results of the analysis of the 12 assessment questions are feasible to use because they have a validity value of 0.56 with a "enough" category and a reliability value of 0.72 with a "enough" category and can be said to be a valid research instrument. And because there are 3 questions that have a negative significant value (-) then questions number 2, 10 and 12 are omitted so that this instrument is more valid.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui tingkat literasi lingkungan siswa. Manfaat dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk memperoleh hasil test terkait kemampuan literasi lingkungan siswa. Metodologi pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode survey yang melibatkan siswa 60 siswa SMP kelas 8 yang diambil secara random (acak). Instrumen yang digunakan berupa soal literasi lingkungan yang disebarkan melalui gform. Data yang didapatkan di analisis menggunakan SPSS. Berdasarkan hasil survei diketahui bahwa jumlah subjek sebanyak 64 siswa kelas 8 SMP yang terdiri dari 39 perempuan dan 25 laki-laki. serta terdiri dari 4 suku yaitu melayu, minang, batak dan jawa. Berdasarkan hasil survey juga diketahui bahwa rata-rata kemampuan literasi lingkungan siswa yaitu dalam kategori baik dengan skor 7,6 yang dapat dijelaskan secara terperinci yaitu konstrak Kompetensi lingkungan 7,8 (baik), konstrak Pengetahuan lingkungan 7,6 (baik), konstrak Sikap terhadap lingkungan 7,3 (baik). Rekomendasi dari penelitian ini adalah masih perlu ditingkatkan kemampuan literasi lingkungan siswa dan para guru dapat menggunakan instrument yang sudah digunakan ini.

Abstract

Substance misuse is a problem that frequently arises among teenagers, particularly among pupils in primary school. In elementary school, the teaching focuses primarily on increasing students' knowledge and abilities, with very little attention paid to the students' moral and ethical development. Thus, the erosion of students' moral fiber will result in the country's failure to produce productive citizens in the following generation. The goal of this research was to investigate the influence that reading comics online has on the personalities of elementary students. In this work, experimental research, specifically quasi-experimental research, is used. Researchers use a method called random sampling to decide the sample they will use. Students in grade four of elementary schools served as the population for the sample. The control and experimental classes each had 22 students. This study used a Likert-scale questionnaire. This study endeavor analyzed data using descriptive analysis, normality, paired sample t-tests, and SPSS 16-assisted homogeneity tests. The Sig. (2tailed) value of the paired sample t-test is 0.000<0.05, so Online Comic Learning Media does affect student character. The findings of this study imply that it is reasonable to expect teachers to be able to employ learning media that is both interesting and concrete, as well as to be accompanied by technology; one of the choices is making use of comics
