Abstract

Kelas ibu hamil merupakan sarana belajar bersama ibu hamil agar memperoleh pengetahuan yang cukup untuk mencegah komplikasi, meningkatkan cakupan kunjungan ibu hamil, dan melakukan persalinan pada tenaga kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis sistem pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil di Puskesmas Malalak dan Biaro Kabupaten Agam. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Informan penelitian ini terdiri dari kepala dan kasie. KIA (Kesehatan ibu dan Anak) dinas kesehatan kabupaten, kepala, fasilitator, dan kader puskesmas, serta ibu hamil peserta kelas ibu hamil. Analisis input pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil yaitu masih kurangnya pemahaman dari kebijakan yang sudah ada, tenaga yang belum cukup dan belum dilatih, sarana dan prasarana yang belum memadai. Analisis proses menunjukkan belum ada sosialisasi dengan stakeholder terkait, tahapan persiapan yang kurang matang karena kurangnya pertimbangan latar belakang budaya di Malalak, sehingga ditemukan berbagai kendala dalam hal pelaksanaan. Analisis output yaitu belum ada monitoring dan evaluasi khusus yang dilakukan oleh dinas kesehatan Kabupaten Agam dan kepala puskesmas Malalak.  Dan secara keseluruhan kurangnya peran bidan dalam menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya sebagai pelaksana pelayanan kebidanan di komunitas dan belum adanya kolaborasi antar profesi dalam menjalankan program KIH. Sistem pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil belum sesuai dengan pedoman pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil. Perlu berbagai upaya yang dilakukan untuk mengoptimalkan dan mengembangkan pelaksanaan kelas ibu hamil.Kata kunci: Puskesmas, Analisis Sistem, Kelas Ibu Hamil

Abstract

Karies gigi merupakan penyakit infeksi yang disebabkan oleh demineralisasi email dan dentin yang berkaitan dengan konsumsi makanan kariogenik. Karies terjadi karena adanya interaksi antara host, agen, substrat dan waktu. Perilaku pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi merupakan salah satu faktor predisposisi terjadinya karies. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dengan status karies gigi pada siswa kelas 1 Sekolah Menengah Pertama.Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Cross Sectional Study. Sampel penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas 1 SMP 1 Muhammadiyah Kecamatan Padang Timur Kota Padang sebanyak 120 orang, menggunakan metode Total Sampling. Pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dilakukan dengan pengisian kuisioner oleh responden penelitian dan status karies gigi diperiksa dengan menggunakan indeks DMF-T. Analisa statistik dilakukan dengan uji Chi-Square. Sebanyak 54,2% siswa memiliki pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi kategori baik dan 55,8% siswa memiliki status karies gigi kategori rendah. Hasil uji statistik menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dengan status karies gigi, nilai p= 0,00 (p< 0,05). Terdapat hubungan antara pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi dengan status karies gigi. Pemeliharaan kesehatan gigi siswa kelas 1 SMP 1 Muhammadiyah Kota Padang baik dan status karies gigi rendah.

Abstract

Glass ionomer cement is one of the filling material that often used on the field of dentistry because it is relatively less expensive and mostly available. It’s existence in the mouth makes it susceptible to any substance that comes into mouth one of them is mouthwash which is a solution that used for many purposes such as antiseptic, astrigent, to prevent caries and bad breath. The aim of this research is to know the comparison of surface hardness of glass ionomer cement which soaked in alcohol containing mouthwash and alcohol-free mouthwash. This research is a laboratoric experimental type study. Sampels made from GC FUJI IX GP EXTRA for as much as 30 sampels were made and then soaked in artificial saliva for the first 24 hours inside incubator which temperature and humidity were controlled. Sampels then divided into 3 groups. First group will be soaked in alcohol containing mouthwash, second group will be soaked alcohol-free mouthwash and control group will be soaked in artificial saliva for 6 hours inside incubator. Listerine is the mouthwash that was used on this research and surface hardness was examined using Vickers Hardness Tester. The result of this research shows mean value for surface hardness of the first group is 16.36 VHN, 24.04 VHN for second group, and 43.60 VHN for control group. The result one way ANOVA with post hoc Bonferroni comparing test show significant results p = 0.00. In Conclusion there are significant differences of surface hardness between each groups, which surface hardness of the first group is lower than the second group, and both surface hardness of the first and second group are lowered than control group (p = 0.00). Abstract

Background: The implementation of the national licensing examination for medical doctors is expected to have a broad impact on doctors and society. Indonesian Medical Doctor National Competency Examination (IMDNCE; Indonesian: Uji Kompetensi Mahasiswa Program Profesi Dokter or UKMPPD) as an ‘exit exam’ in the medical education process may significantly impact learning and clinical practices. The study’s objective was to explore the impact of IMDNCE on both the learning and clinical practices of doctors.Methods: The study subjects were internship doctors who had passed the IMDNCE. Participants were recruited by purposive sampling based on the ownership status of the institution (state/private) and the accreditation of respective medical schools and participants’ gender. The study participants consisted of 41 internship doctors working in 6 regions from 33 different medical schools out of 75 medical faculties in Indonesia.Results: IMDNCE has a positive influence on learning and clinical practice. The IMDNCE process emphasizes standard competencies that must be mastered and patient management process with current evidence that is not always achieved during clinical education, increasing clinical knowledge and skills, and increasing awareness of professional development. IMDNCE also has very well affected in the development of self-confidence and a sense of responsibility which are essential in clinical practice. In addition to psychological influences, IMDNCE improves competence in clinical skills and promotes good medical practice.
