Abstract

On a global scale, the music industry is currently experiencing declining growth after a significant decline in profits. This phenomenon is common in the era of digital transformation. Based on the EU report (European Commission, 2017) that global technology is changing rapidly. This reflects the desire of humans to do more by finding opportunities to meet their needs. The internet is the starting point for why the global world is changing so fast. One example is the global economic sector. By using the internet, people can search for all digital entertainment content easily without filtering it out. Sharing files on the internet has a negative impact on the music industry's sales the old way. They demand the termination of sharing music through the internet such as Youtube. This paper analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of company-based file-sharing businesses in Indonesia. How the government takes advantage of this business and how the Indonesian music industry overcomes the effects of globalization

Abstract

Covid-19 forces the traditional classroom learning method to go online; while teachers nowadays struggle to adapt to this new technology, the EdTech firm's market is increasing. That 44 startups were categorized as Unicorn in 2020. Rather than just referring to the analysis of EdTech's functions that help schools conventionally, this study also looks at the theory of economic-based interaction between education-based organizations that threaten schools' meaning and function that shift during this pandemic to online. Based on this premise, we can identify the features of EdTech, which overlap with conventional schools. Our method is conducting Descriptive Analysis based on observed data derived from validated formal research and put them into three dimensional business model patterns to get evidence of the organization’s strategic or tactical operations. This research aims to address whether the emerging of EdTech firms becomes a threat to traditional schools. This work also finds the core value, which drives student's motivation toward learning outcomes in Indonesia. Based on the research, superior ICT technology adaptation plays an essential key in educational activities. It means that EdTech can provide dependence on schools which not yet comply with these features so that when they had cooperation, EdTech can direct or even changing the school’s original values. This cooperation dependency can challenge the school’s operation cost, increasing the risk of supply and management, involving consumer-related decision-making that always benefited EdTech rather than schools.

Abstract

Advancement computer vision technology in order to help coach creates strategy has been affecting the sport industry evolving very fast. Players movement patterns and other important behavioral activities regarding the tactics during playing the game are the most important data obtained in applying computer vision in Sport Industry. The basic technique for extracting those information during the game is player detection. Three fundamental challenges of computer vision in detecting objects are random object’s movement, noise and shadow. Background subtraction is an object’s detection method that used widely for separating moving object as foreground and non moving object as background. This paper proposed a method for removing shadow and unwanted noise by improving traditional background subtraction technique. First, we employed GDLS algorithm to optimize background-foreground separation. Then, we did filter shadows and crumbs-like object pixels by applying digital spatial filter which is created from implementation of digital arithmetic algorithm (bitwise operation). Finally, our experimental result demonstrated that our algorithm outperform conventional background subtraction algorithms. The experiments result proposed method has obtained 80.5% of F1-score with average 20 objects were detected out of 24 objects.

Abstract

This paper presents a new approach vehicles detection and classification. In these works, we are creating a system to detect the vehicles and automatically classifying them into three desired classes as Car, Suv, and Truck. Datasets from changedetect.net were used for testing the method. The proposed approach combine Incremental Principle Component Pursuit (IPCP) background subtraction for vehicle detection and it complies with Ensemble subspace -Nearest Neighbor (EsKNN) classifier. A combination of background subtraction and classification of filtering background is used in order to focus on vehicle’s features extraction using HOG corner detections. Then, this feature extraction is classified using an ensemble-based classifiers technique. The choice of classifier depends on features data characteristics, which they were formed in certain unique distance shape stationary relative between classes. The proposed method is evaluated using three datasets of common highway surveillance video. Comparing with other direct detection and classification technique our method has achieved outstanding result. The proposed approach delivers the accuracy 96.5%, the highest among the tested methods. Experimental results show the outstanding performance of the proposed method.

Abstract

Abstract

This paper presents the design and implementation of a sewer inspection robot that utilizes the A-Star algorithm for pathfinding. The robot is intended to provide a more efficient solution for culvert workers in inspecting sewer pipes, particularly in hard-to-reach areas. The A-Star algorithm was chosen due to its ease of implementation and low computational resource requirements, making it suitable for real-time applications. The robot was designed with a modular approach, allowing for flexibility in adapting to different pipe sizes and configurations. It is equipped with various sensors and cameras, allowing for accurate inspection of pipe conditions and identification of potential issues. The A-Star algorithm was used to plan the robot's path through the sewer pipes, minimizing the time required for inspection and reducing the risk of damage to the pipes. The results of the implementation showed that the sewer inspection robot using the A-Star algorithm was able to efficiently navigate through the sewer pipes, reducing the time required for inspection and minimizing the need for manual labor. In order to check the performance, we performed experiments on six test models through simulation. On average, the proposed algorithm showed remarkable results, where all models can generate path planning to find the target from the start position. We obtained an average time completion from Models 1 to 6 with a maximum travel distance of 30 meters of 12.96, 4.47, 18.59, 20.71, 24.93, and 19.34 seconds.

Abstract

Abstract

The Indonesian government plans to transition its transportation sector to electric vehicles (EVs) by 2025. Achieving this ambitious target will necessitate advancements in power management technologies. Therefore, the government is boosting research on energy efficiency, cutting power dissipation, and enhancing the reliability and lifespan of EV components. This study focuses on designing a power-efficient linear voltage regulator using the LM317, which is essential for EV power management. The regulator employs a voltage comparator to monitor feedback voltage and select the correct input voltage, ensuring efficient and stable output power. We tested the LM317 against the LM338 and LM350 in various setups. The results showed that the LM317 performed better in terms of voltage precision, efficiency, power dissipation, and temperature stability. Moreover, the LM317 achieved 75% efficiency in single-source setups and 85% in multi-source configurations, with a voltage precision of ±0.1%. The system’s ability to dynamically select input sources ensures optimal performance for small-signal EV applications.
