Abstract

Balita merupakan salah satu kelompok umur yang rawan gizi. Salah satu masalah gizi yang masih utama pada balita yaitu masalah gizi kronik atau disebut juga stunting. Pertumbuhan pada masa ini penting karena merupakan salah satu indikator kesehatan di masa dewasa. Menurut Riset Kesehatan Daerah tahun 2018 di Indonesia prevalensi stunting mencapai angka 30,8% dengan proporsi status gizi sangat pendek 11% dan pendek 19,3%. Sedangkan data dari Jawa Tengah sebanyak 28,5% dan data dari Klaten sebanyak 31,29%. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan kekurangan energi kronik paad ibu hamil dengan kejadian stunting di Puskesmas Juwiring. Metode penelitian ini adalah retrospektif dengan pendekatan Cross Sectional. Populasi penelitian ini yaitu balita stunting usia 24-60 bulan sebanyak 148 balita. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan Teknik Simple Random Sampling diperoleh 37 balita. Instrumen yang digunakan lembar dokumentasi. Data dianalisa menggunakan chi square. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada hubungan kekurangan energi kronik pada ibu hamil dengan kejadian stunting di Puskesmas Juwiring periode Januari – Desember 2019 adalah sebagian besar responden mempunyai riwayat status gizi Tidak Kurang Energi Kronik yaitu sebanyak 20 orang (54,1 %) dengan kategori pendek 10 balita (76,92%) dan sangat pendek 2 balita (100%). Nilai chi square hitung adalah 12,151 dengan p=0,002 (p < 0,05).

Abstract

Background:Coronavirus Disease is a new type of disease caused by a virus called Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS CoV-2). At the time of the Covid-19 disaster, keeping a distance and prohibiting crowds was quite difficult to apply to teenagers which resulted in Indonesia experiencing an increase in Covid-19 cases due to low knowledge in society, especially among teenagers.Objective: The purpose of this study was to describe the knowledge of adolescents about the Covid-19 disaster in Srago, Pasung, Wedi, Klaten Methods: This research is a quantitative descriptive study. The data collection method uses the Total Sampling method. The sample in this study were 45 respondents. This study used a questionnaire about the Covid-19 disaster which was distributed to adolescents in Srago, Pasung, Wedi, Klaten. Data analysis was performed using univariate analysis. Results: The characteristics of the adolescents who were respondents in this study were mostly 14-16 years old, totaling 17 respondents (38%), dominated by male respondents with a total of 25 respondents (56%), the highest level of education was high school/vocational school education, 19 respondents (42%), some of the respondents' jobs were as students/students, 37 respondents (82%), the source of information about Covid-19 in respondents was from electronic media, 31 respondents (69%). Conclusion: The description of adolescent knowledge about the Covid-19 disaster in Dukuh Srago, Pasung, Wedi, Klaten can be said to be in the sufficient category.

Abstract

Adolescence is a period of transition toward adulthood. One of the key public health concerns for the government is the prevention of anemia in adolescent girls. Iron deficiency anemia is a global issue. The prevention and management of anemia in adolescent girls are carried out through the administration of one iron supplement tablet per week, making adherence to iron tablet consumption crucial in reducing iron deficiency rates. This study aims to describe the adherence of adolescents in consuming iron supplement tablets in Dukuh Village. Method: This research is a quantitative study. The population consisted of 261 respondents, with a sample of 73 adolescent girls selected using a purposive sampling technique. The study was conducted in Dukuh Village, Bayat, Klaten, from July 1, 2024, to July 30, 2024. Results: The most common age group among the respondents was early adolescence (ages 12–15), with 33 respondents (45.2%), while the least common age group was late adolescence (ages 19–21), with 10 respondents (13.7%). The majority of respondents had a high school education (41.1%), while the least had only an elementary school education (6.8%). Most respondents were categorized as non-adherent, with 43 respondents (58.9%) failing to comply with iron tablet consumption.Conclusion: The findings of this study in Dukuh Village indicate that the majority of adolescent girls fall into the non-adherent category, with 43 respondents (58.9%) not complying with iron tablet consumption
