Abstract

Background: Vinegar aren is one product that can be consumed also has many benefits for society. Palm vinegar is produced from palm juice that is fermented. The fermentation process that traditionally takes place at varying fermentation time make total acids in different palm vinegar. This study aimed to determine the effect on the total fermentation of palm vinegar. Methods: The study was conducted at the Laboratory of Basic Chemistry Pattimura University in Ambon on 9 to 13 September 2014 with a long fermentation 2 days, 3 days, 4 days, 5 days, 6 days and analyzed using descriptive analysis. Results: The results showed a significant influence, namely high total acetic acid contained in the fermentation 6 days is 4.56%. Conclusion: Long fermentation greatly affect the total vinegar palm juice. The influence that occurs is the increase in total acid levels with increasing palm vinegar fermentation.

Abstract

Background: Wine sea (algae) and Caulerpa types of Caulerpa letifera racesmosa or in any other language communities of Southeast Maluku call as Lat plant. These algae species are used as vegetables and vegetables are very interested in the community and has become a typical regional menu with a fairly high protein content. Methods: This study is a descriptive study to reveal information about the diversity and patterns of sea Wine distrubusi (Caulepa sp) in the village of Letman District of Kei Kecil. Calculated using the species diversity index formula diversity (diversity) Shannon-Winner, namely: H '= - N Σ Pi ln Pi where Pi = ni / N and to calculate the value of diversity and patterns distrubusi. Results: Based on the research that has been conducted in the coastal waters of the Village Letman District of Kei Kecil Southeast Maluku regency, overall research sites found five species of sea grapes that Caulerpa lentifera, Caulerpa racemosa, Caulerpa sertuloroides, Caulerpa cupresoides / serrulata (Forskal), and Caulerpa taxifolia. Conclusion: 4 (four) research station found the type of Caulerpa lentifera with the number 93, the type of Caulerpa racemosa with the number 79, sea grape Caulerpa sertuloroides with the number 53, the type of Culerpa cupresoides / serrulata (forskal) with the number 59, the type of Caulerpa taxifolia by the number 61.

Abstract

Background: One of the interesting and applicable learning strategies in the learning process is the MURDER learning strategy. Where this learning strategy aims to train and facilitate students in receiving and understanding the material provided. With the strategy of learning murder is expected the students get involved further in the process of teaching and learning effectively so that students are encouraged to understand every material in teaching teachers. Methods: Instruments used in this study are non-test instruments in the form of affective ratings sheets and psychomotor sheets and test instruments in the form of items used for initial and final tests. Data collection is done by literature, student learning result test, interview and observation. The data have been obtained in the form of scores analyzed in the form of product moment statistics to see the relationship between the results of learning results by using learning strategies MURDER. Result: Inferential statistic analysis showed that in table "r" product moment db 27 was consulted at 5% significant level obtained r table = 0,381 while significant 1% at r table = 0,487 so there is significant relation between variable x and variable y. Conclusion: MURDER learning strategy can improve learning outcomes in SMA Negeri 1 Kairatu students and this strategy is very influential on cognitive, affective and psychomotor assessment on students.

Abstract

Background: The TAI (Team Assisted Individualization) model is individual assistance in the characteristic group that the responsibility is for students. Therefore students must build knowledge without accepting the finished form of the teacher. While the STAD Model (Student Team Achievement Division) is to motivate students to be able to support and help one another in mastering the abilities taught by the teacher. Method: This research was conducted on April 10, 2017 - May 10, 2017 with the research location on Junior High School 3 Namrole. To find out the difference in learning outcomes, it was analyzed using T-test analysis. Results: Through the design of quasi-experimental research shows that there are no differences in student learning outcomes taught using the TAI and STAD models, but in the TAI and STAD classes almost all students reach KKM 68. However, based on the calculation of the average (mean) and standard deviation for the class TAI 76.68 and class 75.31 so that it can be said that the TAI model is more effective than STAD. Conclusion: There is an increase in student learning outcomes after conducting the teaching and learning process by using the Team Assisted Individualization and Student Team Achievemint Devision models so that the t-test results show that thit <ttab with thit 1.023 and ttab 2.0105.

Abstract

Background: The nails are plants that are often consumed by the community because they are effective in curing various diseases such as cough, asthma, fever, headache, diarrhea, and dysentery. Different cooking processes can affect the nutritional content of a food ingredient, one of which is vitamin A. Method: This type of research is comparative, namely to compare the content of vitamin A found in ferns (Diplazium esculentum (Retz) Sw.) Based on the cooking process, namely boiling, steaming and stirring. Location of analysis of vitamin A content in the Basic Chemistry laboratory of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Pattimura University. The subjects of the study were 4 g of ferns extract, each of which was carried out based on the cooking process, namely stir-fry, boiled and steamed. Results: There is an effect of the cooking process on the content of vitamin A on ferns. The highest vitamin A content is found in the type of stir-fry cooking which is as much as 0,0594%, the type of steamed cooking is 0,0442% and the type of boiled cooking is 0,0243%. Sauteed vegetables have relatively low water content than those boiled or steamed. Conclusion: The highest content of vitamin A in vegetable ferns (Diplazium escelentum (Retz.) Sw.) Was found in the cooking process of the type of stirring with a vitamin A content of 0.0594 with a duration of 10 minutes

Abstract

Background: In general, Biology learning in Nirunmas Maluku, West Nusa Tenggara 4 Middle School, is still teacher-centered, namely using the lecture method, so that the learning outcomes obtained by students are not maximal or inadequate for School KKM. Method: The type of research used is descriptive, using the Resource Based Learning learning model to master the concept of the human digestive system in class VIII Nirunmas 4 Middle School. This research was conducted on February 25 - March 25, 2018. Results: Achievement of learning outcomes before using the Resource Based Learning (RBL) learning model with an average student achievement in the initial test was 62%, while after using the Resource Based Learning (RBL) learning model the average student achievement in the final test was 81, 32% and the final score was 84.33%. Conclusion: There is an increase in students' understanding in the learning process using the Resource Based Learning (RBL) learning model
