Abstract

Educational supervision is an effort to guide school principals to teachers, and guidance counseling teachers in schools in order to improve the quality of teaching and learning in schools. The purpose of this study is to find out 1) The process of preparing the principal's supervision program in increasing the professional competence of the counseling guidance teacher, 2) The implementation of the educational supervision program by the principal in improving the professional competence of the counseling guidance teacher, and 3) The principal's follow-up in implementing the supervision of education for improve the professional competence of counseling guidance teachers. This research uses descriptive method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation. Research subjects were the principal, vice principal and counseling guidance teacher. The results of his research show that: 1) The supervision program of the headmaster of Palopo 8 Junior High School was prepared at the beginning of each semester of the school year by involving the deputy headmaster, counseling guidance teacher, and teacher in the field of study. The supervision program includes the activities of professional teacher guidance and guidance as well as training for teachers that are tailored to their fields. 2) The supervision of the head of SMP Negeri 8 Palopo follows the program that has been prepared, the technique used is through teacher meetings, classroom observations and personal conversations. Especially for classroom observation techniques, they have already used observation guidelines, but the quantity in the implementation has not been maximized. 3) The follow-up supervision of the headmaster of Palopo 8 Junior High School was observed through individual talks, giving advice, coaching, and guiding counseling guidance teachers with a focus on better implementation of activities, but the principal did not fully understand the counseling guidance program

Abstract

Pengembangan video pembelajaran matematika berbasis Powtoon merupakan salah satu media pembelajaran yang digunakan sebagai sarana untuk membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan minat belajar serta serta memahami materi yang diberikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kevalidan, kepraktisan dan keefektifan video animas matematika berbasis Powtoon materi fungsi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan Reseach and Development (R&D). Penelitian ini menggunakan model ADDIE. Yang uji cobanya dilakukan di MAN Kota Palopo dengan subjek penelitian yaitu siswa kelas X.E yang berjumlah 23 orang. Untuk mengetahui kelayakan produk, peneliti menggunakan angket kepada validator ahli materi dan ahli media, angket praktikalitas dan angket minat belajar kepada siswa. Hasil akhir pengembangan dalam penelitian ini adalah video pembelajaran matematika terbatas pada materi fungsi berupa video pembelajaran yang dapat diakses secara online di youtube. Hasil olah data kevalidan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran matematika berbasis Powtoon pada materi fungsi untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa kelas X.E yaitu pada hasil penilaian ahli materi (80%) dengan kategori valid, ahli media (80%) dengan kategori valid, respon siswa (75,5%) dengan kategori sangat praktis dan minat belajar hasil analisis inferensial statistic menggunakan rumus paired sample t-test terdapat perbedaan siginifikan antara minat belajar siswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media pembelajaran yaitu sebesar 15,26%.

Abstract

Penelitian ini membahas tentang efektivitas pembelajaran teknik jarimatika dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa kelas III SDIT Fatahillah. Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) mengetahui tingkat keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa yang diajar tanpa menggunakan teknik jarimatika. (2) mengetahui tingkat keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa  yang diajar menggunakan teknik jarimatika. (3) mengetahui keefektifan penerapan pembelajaran teknik jarimatika dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas III SDIT Fatahillah. Jumlah sampel 30 siswa, dimana 15 siswa kelas kontrol dan 15 siswa kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) tingkat keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa pada kelas tanpa mengguakan teknik jarimatika termasuk dalam kategori rendah. 2) tingkat keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa termasuk dalam ketegori baik. 3) penggunaan pembelajaran teknik jarimatika efektif dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berhitung matematika siswa.This study discusses the effectiveness of learning the jarimatics technique in improving the math skills of third grade students at SDIT Fatahillah. This study aims (1) to determine the level of students' mathematical numeracy skills who are taught without using the jarimatics technique. (2) knowing the level of students' math skills taught using the jarimatics technique. (3) find out the effectiveness of the application of learning techniques jarimatika in improving students' math skills. This type of research is experimental research with a descriptive quantitative approach. The population of this study were third grade students at SDIT Fatahillah. The number of samples is 30 students, of which 15 students are in the control class and 15 are in the experimental class. The results of the study show that 1) the level of students' math skills in the class without using the jarimatics technique is in the low category. 2) the level of students' math skills is included in the good category. 3) the use of learning effective learning techniques in improving students' mathematical numeracy skills.
