Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan model project based learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar pada pembelajaran IPA peserta didik kelas IV UPT SPF SDN Gaddong II. Jenis penelitian yang dipergunakan yakni quasi eksperiment dengan mempergunakan dua kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen serta kelas kontrol dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel pada penelitian ini yakni kelas IV-A sebagai kelas eksperimen (menggunakan model project based learning) dan kelas IV-B sebagai kelas kontrol (menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional). Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan pemberian soal posttest dalam bentuk soal pilihan ganda. Data hasil tes dianalisis menggunakan pengujian t-test. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kemampuan hasil belajar IPA peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen setelah menggunakan model project based learning (PjBL) diperoleh nilai rata-rata 84,00 sedangkan pada kelas kontrol 76,19. Sedangkan pengaruh penggunaan model project based learning (PjBL) terhadap hasil belajar pada materi IPA peserta didik kelas IV UPT SPF SDN Gaddong II dari pengolahan hipotesis diperoleh Sig (2. Tailed) yaitu 0,013 artinya H0 ditolak karena Sig (2. Tailed) < α atau (0,013 < 0,05). H1 diterima karena Sig (Tailed) > α atau (0,956 > 0,05) dengan hasil analisis uji T, Sig < ttabel atau (0,956 < 2,022) dengan artian bahwa model project based learning (PjBL) memiliki pengaruh terhadap hasil belajar siswa SD materi IPA.

Abstract

Masalah dalam penelitian ini yaitu guru sering kali menyampaikan materi pelajaran IPA hanya menggunakan metode ceramah, sehingga murid merasa bosan dan kurang tertarik untuk belajar IPA. Hal ini dapat menyebabkan hasil belajar murid menjadi rendah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui peningkatan hasil belajar IPA melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non example murid kelas IV SD Inpres 12/79 Hulo Kabupaten Bone. Penelitian yang dilaksanakan merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus yang mencakup empat kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian ini adalah murid kelas IV SD Inpres 12/79 Hulo Kabupaten Bone sebanyak 14 murid yang terdiri atas 7 laki-laki dan 7 perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah observasi, tes (evaluasi), dan dokumentasi. Data yang diperoleh kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non example, hasil belajar IPA murid kelas IV SD Inpres 12/79 Hulo Kabupaten Bone mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata hasil belajar murid 61 dengan 6 murid atau dengan presentase 40%. Sedangkan pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata meningkat menjadi 90 dengan 14 murid atau dengan presentase 100%. Dari hasil analisis tersebut disimpulkan bahwa hasil belajar IPA pada murid kelas IV SD Inpres 12/79 Hulo Kabupaten Bone dapat ditingkatkan melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe example non example.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Powtoon media on high-level thinking abilities in science learning for V grade students at SDN Tabang No. 24 Selayar Islands. The type of research used is an experiment in the form of Pre-Experimental Design which uses a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were all class V students of SDN Tabang No. 24 Selayar Islands as many as 17 students. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets, tests and documentation. The research instrument used was a high-level thinking ability test instrument in the form of description, observation and documentation questions. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis, namely the normality test and hypothesis test (paired sample t test). The results of the pretest data research (before using the PBL model assisted by Powtoon media) were that the average value obtained was 52.47. Meanwhile, the average posttest score (after using the PBL model assisted by Powtoon media) was 82.59, which is considered high. After analyzing inferential statistics using the paired sample t test, a sig (2 tailed) value of 0.001 was obtained and the test rules determined were 0.05, then the significance level value was obtained ˂ sign value 0.05 or 0.001 ˂ 0.05. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that is rejected and is accepted, this shows that the use of the PBL model assisted by Powtoon media has an effect on high-level thinking abilities in science learning for V grade students at SDN Tabang No. 24 Selayar Islands.

Abstract

Improved the quality of science education in elementary teacher training requires the development of instructional modules that are both contextual and culturally responsive. This study was conducted to design, implement, and evaluate a Project-Based Learning (PjBL) module integrated with ethnoscience to enhance the pedagogical competence of Elementary School Teacher Education students. Using a 4D development model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate), the study included expert validation and user practicality testing. The module contextualized scientific content, particularly the concept of heat and temperature, using local cultural practices such as traditional palm sugar processing. Validation results indicated high feasibility scores in the didactic (94.00%), construction (96.00%), and visual aspects (98.33%) categories, while the practicality test produced an average score of 92.00%. Moreover, inferential insights from the evaluation revealed statistically significant improvements in learners' conceptual understanding (N-gain score of 0.80). The findings demonstrated that integrating ethnoscience into project-based modules not only deepened students’ comprehension of scientific principles but also fostered their ability to design meaningful, culturally relevant instruction. This research offers a valuable contribution to teacher education by presenting a validated instructional model that bridges scientific theory and local wisdom, promoting contextualized and engaging science learning. The module provides a scalable framework for future research and application across diverse educational and cultural settings.

Abstract

Bullying is one of the serious problems that often occurs in schools and has a negative impact on the psychological, social, and academic development of students. This community service activity aims to increase the awareness and skills of students at SD 69 Galesong 1 in preventing bullying through the implementation of the role-playing method and experiential learning model. The implementation method used a participatory action research approach involving 26 students as the subjects. The activity was carried out in two cycles, starting with material socialization, role-playing activities, reflection, and evaluation through pre-test and post-test. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding and skills. In Cycle 1, the average student score was only 46.35 with a classical mastery level of 23%. After the intervention in Cycle 2, the average score increased to 83.27 with a classical mastery level reaching 100%. In addition, students showed increased empathy, courage to reject bullying, and social skills in dealing with conflict. These findings prove that the role-playing method combined with experiential learning is effective in building anti-bullying awareness and skills, as well as creating a safer, more comfortable, and positive school environment.

Abstract

study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Quizizz media on fourth-grade students’ learning outcomes in Integrated Science and Social Studies (IPAS) at SDN Tidung. This research used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design, specifically the Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The experimental class was taught using the PBL model with Quizizz media, while the control class used conventional learning methods. Data were collected through pretest and posttest assessments and analyzed using the Mann–Whitney U test at a 0.05 significance level. The results showed that the average posttest score of the experimental class was 79.40 with 90% mastery, while the control class scored 63.40 with 30% mastery. The statistical test obtained an Asymp. Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.000 < 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. These findings suggest that the PBL model assisted by Quizizz media positively influences students’ learning outcomes by creating an active, interactive, and enjoyable learning atmosphere. Therefore, the combination of PBL and Quizizz is effective in improving IPAS learning outcomes and can serve as an innovative learning alternative in elementary education.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes in the science and science subject for fifth grade students at SD Inpres Bontomanai, Makassar City are still relatively low, with an average score that has not yet reached the minimum completeness criteria (KKM). Based on observations, learning is dominated by the lecture method, so students are less active and less enthusiastic about learning. The aim of the research is to determine the effect of the Make A Match cooperative model on student learning outcomes in the Social Sciences subject for class V students. This type of research is Quasi-experimental with the total population in the experimental class, namely class V B and control, namely class V A, being 51 people. The research design uses a Non-Equivalent Control Group with the sample type, namely total sampling. By giving Pretest & Posttest. Based on the research results, there are differences in the two samples with the independent sample t test in the t test and sig. (2-tailed) of 0.008 < 0.05. This means that there is a significant difference between the posttest results of the experimental class and the control class. Referring to the decision, H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted (hypothesis is supported).

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of a character education program on reducing the frequency of minor delinquency at SDN 69 Galesong 1. This study is expected to provide information on the effectiveness of character education programs in reducing minor delinquency in students. Based on Bronfenbrenner's developmental ecology theory, this study highlights the importance of understanding the ecological context of adolescents in designing effective character education programs. Factors in the environment such as family, school, and society can influence adolescent behavior. Therefore, the implementation of character education in the school environment is crucial to forming positive values and morals that can overcome juvenile delinquency.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of the Gallery Walk method and to analyze its effect on improving students’ interest and learning outcomes in IPAS among fifth-grade students of SD Negeri 39 Bontonyeleng. The research employed a quantitative approach using a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest–posttest model. The sample consisted of 26 fifth-grade students. The research instruments included a learning interest questionnaire and an IPAS achievement test. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and N-gain analysis.The results showed that students’ learning interest increased from an average score of 42% before the implementation of the method to 69% after the implementation, indicating an increase of 27 percentage points. In addition, students’ IPAS learning outcomes also improved, as indicated by N-gain values ranging from 0.5 to 1.00 with an average of 0.7, which falls into the moderate category. These findings indicate that the Gallery Walk method is effective in enhancing both learning interest and IPAS learning outcomes of fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 39 Bontonyeleng.
