Abstract

Pada pembelajaran abad 21 ini perlu menerapkan pembelajaran 4C terutama kemampuan berpikir kritis. Namun, kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik khususnya di sekolah dasar masih rendah. Sehingga perlu diterapkannya sebuah model pembelajaran yang dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendiskripsikan penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri dari 2 siklus yang setiap siklusnya dilaksanakan dengan 3 kali pertemuan. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data kemampuan berpikir kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan model PBL dalam pembelajaran terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa. Pada siklus pertama yang tuntas secara individual dari 10 siswa hanya 5 siswa atau 50% yang memenuhi kriteria kemampuan berpikir kritis. Kemudian meningkat pada siklus II dimana dari 10 siswa terdapat 8 siswa atau 80% telah memenuhi kriteria kemampuan berpikir kritis dan secara klasikal sudah terpenuhi yaitu nilai rata-ratanya 73.2. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis Siswa Pada Tema Organ Gerak Hewan dan Manusia pada siswa kelas V SDI Parangkantisang melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) mengalami peningkatan.

Abstract

This research aims to produce instructional materials in the form of a problem-solving oriented digital e-module for fifth-grade elementary school students on the theme "Events in Life" that are valid, practical, and effective. The type of research used is development research using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of the study are 26 fifth-grade students. The instrument used to measure the effectiveness of the problem-solving oriented digital e-module is a learning outcome test in the form of 10 essay questions. The effectiveness of the problem-solving oriented digital e-module is assessed based on the difference between pretest and post-test learning outcomes analyzed through N-Gain. The N-Gain analysis result is 0.77, which falls into the high category. Based on the N-Gain coefficient, it can be concluded that the problem-solving oriented digital e-module is effective. The implication of this research is that this problem-solving oriented digital e-module can serve as a reference in the development of digital e-modules for other themes or topics in science learning at the elementary school level. It can also be developed for different grade levels and subjects.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model assisted by Powtoon media on high-level thinking abilities in science learning for V grade students at SDN Tabang No. 24 Selayar Islands. The type of research used is an experiment in the form of Pre-Experimental Design which uses a one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study were all class V students of SDN Tabang No. 24 Selayar Islands as many as 17 students. Data collection was carried out using observation sheets, tests and documentation. The research instrument used was a high-level thinking ability test instrument in the form of description, observation and documentation questions. The data analysis technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis, namely the normality test and hypothesis test (paired sample t test). The results of the pretest data research (before using the PBL model assisted by Powtoon media) were that the average value obtained was 52.47. Meanwhile, the average posttest score (after using the PBL model assisted by Powtoon media) was 82.59, which is considered high. After analyzing inferential statistics using the paired sample t test, a sig (2 tailed) value of 0.001 was obtained and the test rules determined were 0.05, then the significance level value was obtained ˂ sign value 0.05 or 0.001 ˂ 0.05. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that is rejected and is accepted, this shows that the use of the PBL model assisted by Powtoon media has an effect on high-level thinking abilities in science learning for V grade students at SDN Tabang No. 24 Selayar Islands.

Abstract

Penerapan model pembelajaran inovatif menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam upaya peningkatan kualitas pendidikan. Salah satu pendekatan yang efektif dalam meningkatkan hasil belajar adalah model RADEC (Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, Create). Rendahnya hasil belajar dan kurangnya keterlibatan aktif siswa dalam pembelajaran mendorong dilakukan penelitian. Oleh karena itu, model RADEC yang bersifat aktif dan kolaboratif dipadukan dengan media pembelajaran interaktif dapat menjadi solusi yang tepat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode quasi experimental dengan desain Nonequivalent Control Group. Populasi penelitian mencakup seluruh siswa kelas IV di UPT SPF SD Inpres Pa’baeng-Baeng 1, dengan teknik sampel jenuh. Kelas IVA ditetapkan sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IVB sebagai kelas kontrol. Instrumen penelitian meliputi tes pilihan ganda dan esai (pretest dan posttest), lembar observasi, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan statistik deskriptif dan inferensial. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan model RADEC berbantuan media interaktif secara signifikan meningkatkan hasil belajar IPAS. Mayoritas siswa di kelas eksperimen mencapai kategori hasil belajar tinggi hingga sangat tinggi, sementara siswa di kelas kontrol umumnya berada pada kategori sedang hingga rendah. Disimpulkan bahwa model RADEC berbantuan media interaktif memberikan pengaruh positif yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Model ini efektif menciptakan pembelajaran yang aktif, menyenangkan, dan bermakna di tingkat sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The development of artificial intelligence, particularly deep learning, has brought significant changes to the field of education. This technology enables the development of adaptive learning systems and intelligent tutoring systems that can adjust learning content, methods, and pace according to learners’ characteristics and needs. This study aims to examine the potential, challenges, and strategies for implementing deep learning in education through a qualitative approach using document analysis of relevant scholarly literature. The findings indicate that deep learning has the potential to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of learning, strengthen personalized learning, and support data-driven decision-making in educational processes. However, the implementation of this technology still faces several challenges, including limitations in technological infrastructure, low levels of digital literacy among educators and learners, and insufficient regulations related to ethics, data security, and privacy protection. Therefore, comprehensive strategies are required, including strengthening digital infrastructure, improving human resource competencies, and developing policies that support the ethical and sustainable use of artificial intelligence in education. Collaboration among governments, educational institutions, academics, and the technology industry is a key factor in ensuring that deep learning can be optimally utilized to improve the quality and equity of education in the digital era.
