Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of standard operating procedures make up room by roomboy at Daima Hotel Padang. This study consisted of 7 indicators of procedures, namely: tap the entrance to the room, open the window curtains, striping, making beds, cleaning the bath room, dusting and rechecking. This research is a descriptive study with qualitative data. The population in this study consists of 3 people. The collection of observation data to guide the interview. The results showed that the application of standard operating procedures make up room in Hotel Daima Padang has made 100% from 3 roomboy have done well and correctly. While based on each indicator: in particular indicator window curtains open, striping, making beds, dusting and rechecking already applied by all roomboy. While the knock on the door before entering the room and cleaning the bath room only 66.66% roomboy that implement them properly. Keywords: Make Up Room

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to analize the influence of Value Clarification Technique model to the learning outcomes of Civic Education learning for third grade students public elementary school 66 Pontianak Kota. The method used was the experimental method, with form quasi experimental design, and used nonequivalent control group design. The population in this research are all the student in third grade students public elementary school 66 Pontianak Kota with total 57 students. The sampling technique used probability sampling with simple random sampling. Data collection technique used test technique. Research instrument used was written test with form objective test. Based on the data analysis, the average posttest of control class and experiment class are 69,914 and 77,054. Based on the calculation t-test was obtained 2,879 and  (α = 0,05 dk = 55) is 2,005 then  2,879 >2,005, so Ha accepted. It can be concluded that there was an influence of learning outcomes between control class and experiment class. Based the calculation of effect size, obtained the result 0,801 which classified in high category. The conclusion of this study, there had influence of Value Clarification Technique model to learning outcomes of Civic Education Learning for third grade students public elementary school 66 Pontianak Kota. Keywords : Influence, Value Clarification Technique Model,  Learning Outcomes, Civic Education

Abstract

 Erosi menyebabkan hilangnya lapisan tanah yang subur dan baik untuk pertumbuhan tanaman serta berkurangnya kemampuan tanah untuk menyerap dan menahan air. Lokasi penelitian yakni di perkebunan kelapa sawit masyarakat Desa Anjongan Dalam, Kecamatan Anjongan, Kabupaten Mempawah. Pembukaan lahan perkebunan kelapa sawit di lokasi penelitian dilakukan dengan cara tebang bakar dan dikelola dengan tidak melakukan tindakan konservasi dan tidak memperhatikan faktor lingkungan. Akibatnya kerusakan dan menurunnya produktivitas tanah, yang erat kaitannya dengan erosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memprediksi besarnya erosi dengan metode USLE, erosi yang diperbolehkan dan tingkat bahaya erosi. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini dihitung menggunakan metode USLE dengan mengetahui nilai dari faktor R, K, L, S, C dan P yang merupakan faktor penyebab terjadinya erosi pada areal perkebunan kelapa sawit di lokasi penelitian. Kemudian nilai prediksi erosi dibandingkan dengan nilai erosi yang diperbolehkan yang akhirnya perlu dilakukan tindakan konservasi tanah yang direkomendasi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa lokasi penelitian memiliki nilai prediksi erosi (A) tertinggi sebesar 515,73 ton/ha/thn dan nilai prediksi erosi (A) paling rendah sebesar 187,09 ton/ha/thn. Nilai erosi yang diperbolehkan (EDP) sebesar 53,86 – 74,38 ton/ha/thn. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan dua kelas tingkat bahaya erosi yaitu kelas sangat berat dan kelas berat. Kedua tingkat bahaya erosi ini memiliki nilai prediksi erosi yang jauh lebih besar dari pada erosi yang diperbolehkan sehingga perlu tindakan konservasi berupa penanaman tanaman penutup dengan kerapatan tinggi Leguminosa Cover Crops (LCC). Kata Kunci: Prediksi erosi, USLE, Kelapa Sawit

Abstract

This study aims to identify metafunctions in engineering using systemic functional linguistics in scientific Indonesian language learning textbooks. Metafunctions in SFL include ideational, interpersonal, and textual. This research applies literature study to identify and understand the metafunctions used. The results of this research show that the application of the third metafunction in textbooks is very effective in conveying technical information, building interaction between readers and writers, and maintaining text cohesion and coherence. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi metafungsi dalam buku teks pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia Keilmuan bidang keteknikan menggunakan pendekatan Linguistik Sistemik Fungsional. Metafungsi dalam LSF meliputi ideasional, interpersonal, dan tekstual. Penelitian ini menerapkan studi literatur untuk mengidentifikasi dan mengevaluasi metafungsi yang digunakan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan ketiga metafungsi dalam buku teks sangat efektif dalam menyampaikan informasi teknis, membangun interaksi antara pembaca dan penulis, serta menjaga kohesi dan koherensi teks.

Abstract

The ability of students to apply correct spelling and punctuation remains relatively low, which may negatively impact the quality of critical thinking in academic writing. Therefore, a diagnostic test instrument is needed not only to assess their skills but also to promote higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) in order to strengthen their understanding and application of language rules more deeply. The aim of this study is to develop a guideline for the construction of a diagnostic test on spelling and punctuation based on HOTS. The method used is a six-stage literature study, consisting of: (1) problem identification, (2) literature search, (3) literature selection, (4) literature organization, (5) synthesis and critical analysis, and (6) writing the literature review results. The results of this study include: (1) the development of a diagnostic test on spelling, (2) the development of a diagnostic test on punctuation, (3) scoring techniques, and (4) feedback mechanisms. The scientific contributions of this research are: (1) a systematic development of diagnostic test specifications for spelling and punctuation, with an emphasis on the cognitive levels of HOTS (C4-analysis, C5-evaluation, C6-creation), (2) the direct integration of the Indonesian Spelling Guidelines with HOTS indicators, making the test not only normative but also reflective and productive, and (3) the combination of multiple-choice and open-ended (C6) question formats in one diagnostic system — in accordance with the principles of multiformat assessment.
