Abstract

Listening was the main field of this research. it is due to the importance of this skill to be a basic ability of the students when learning English. Based on the phenomena that student have difficulties in learning english especially listening skill, student could not hear clearly because they do not have good skill in listening. Moreover, we often found they felt bored in learning english especially listening. So, they need some ways to help them in learning listening. The problem in listening can be solved by implementing some techniques. One of them is by using song. The main objective of this study is to knows students’ response on the use of song in teaching listening. This used a qualitative research which involved one class of students as a subject. The instruments were observation sheet and interview. Data analysis shows that the result of the observation and interview done before presented a positiveness of the students’ improvement. They enjoyed learning listening using song and they felt so happy to join the learning process. As a conclusion from the result, teacher needs to consider using song on deliver the material of listening in classroom.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi pendidik PAUD dalam mengembangkan kreatifitas anak usia 4-5 Tahun di PAUD Pelita Hidup Medan Denai. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 3 pendidik antara lain kepala Sekolah yang merangkap sebagai pendidik dan 2 pendidik. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini dengan menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data yang digunakan yaitu: reduksi data, penyajian data, penerikan kesimpulan dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan penerapan strategi mengajar pendidik di PAUD Pelita Hidup Medan Denai dalam mengembangkan kreativitas anak dini sudah baik. Hal ini didasarkan pada kenyataan bahwa ini dari perubahan pembelajaran, pengembangan dan mutu dan pengetahuan pendidik tergantung pada kualitas dan tingkat kemampuan, dan itu semua dapat terwujud apabila strategi mengajar pendidik diterapkan dan dikembangkan dengan baik dalam proses kegiatan belajar mengajar

Abstract

Abstract: Improving the Quality of Student's Thesis Toward the Application of Quality Culture in Prodi PLS FIP UNIMED.The type of this research is qualitative descriptive research in which the research is done with various stages which are done such as: preparation stage, implementation stage and reporting stage. The purpose of this study are: (1) to determine whether students need guidelines in the writing of thesis; (2) to find out whether the student code of ethics needs to be included in the guidelines; and (3) to find out whether the quality of thesis can be improved through thesis writing guidance and student code of ethics. Analysis of research results conducted by researchers is through a qualitative approach. This approach is done by asking the opinion of the experts and lecturers concerned to be able to produce a handbook of thesis writing of students of School of External Education-Faculty of Education Sciences based on the results of discussions with the committee team, experts and lecturers concerned.Keywords: Quality Improvement Thesis, Quality Culture.Abstrak : Peningkatan Kualitas Skripsi Mahasiswa Menuju Pengaplikasian Budaya Mutu di Prodi PLS FIP UNIMED. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang mana penelitian ini dilakukan dengan berbagai tahapan yang dilakukan diantaranya : tahap persiapan, tahap pelaksanaan dan tahap pelaporan. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu : (1) untuk mengetahui apakah mahasiswa memerlukan pedoman dalam penulisan skripsi; (2) untuk mengetahui apakah kode etik mahasiswa perlu dicantumkan dalam pedoman.; dan (3)untuk mengetahui apakah kualitas skripsi dapat ditingkatkan melalui pedoman penulisan skripsi dan kode etik mahasiswa.Analisis hasil penelitian yang dilakukan peneliti yaitu melalui pendekatan kualitatif. Pendekatan ini dilakukan dengan cara meminta pendapat para pakar dan dosen yang bersangkutan untuk dapat menghasilkan suatu buku pedoman penulisan skripsi mahasiswa Jurusan Pendidikan Luar Sekolah-Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan yang berdasarkan hasil diskusi dengan tim panitia, pakar dan dosen yang bersangkutan.Kata Kunci : Peningkatan Kualitas Skripsi, Budaya Mutu.

Abstract

Abstract : The Influence of Multicultural Learning in Improving Student Learning Motivation in English Language Courses at UNIMED PLS Study Program. The multicultural learning process that is available for students to develop respect for people of different cultures, provides opportunities to work together with other people or different groups of ethnicities so that conflict does not occur. The purpose of this study is to find out whether there is an effect on the multicultural based learning model of the School of Education Study Program. The research will be carried out in Class A and B Regular third semester students in the Outside School Education Study Program totaling 56 people. This study uses descriptive qualitative research where this study wants to see how the implementation of multicultural learning processes can improve student learning motivation in the PLS Study Program.Keywords : Multicultural Based Learning Process, Learning MotivationAbstrak : Pengaruhnya Pembelajaran Multikultural Dalam Peningkatan Motivasi Belajar Mahasiswa Pada Mata Kuliah Bahasa Inggris Di Prodi PLS UNIMED. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruhnya model pembelajaran berbasis multikultural untuk dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa di Program Studi Pendidikan Luar Sekolah – Fakultas Ilmu Pendidikan Unimed TA.2018/2019. Penelitian akan dilaksanakan pada kelas A dan B Reguler mahasiswa semester tiga Program Studi Pendidikan Luar Sekolah yang berjumlah 56 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif dimana penelitian ini mau melihat bagaimana implementasi proses pembelajaran multikultural untuk dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar mahasiswa di Prodi PLS.Kata Kunci : Proses Pembelajaran Berbasis Multikultural, Motivasi Belajar

Abstract

Teacher creativity in education is a key element that contributes to the creation of a positive and productive classroom environment. This study aims to explore how teacher creativity can influence the learning atmosphere and student interactions in the classroom. Through a qualitative approach, data was collected through interviews with teachers and direct observation in several classes at SMA Negeri 1 Lintong Nihuta. The results show that teachers who apply creative teaching methods, such as project-based learning, the use of technology, and innovative classroom arrangements, are able to increase student motivation and engagement. In addition, teacher creativity also plays a role in creating a positive relationship between teachers and students, which in turn supports students' social and emotional development. This finding highlights the importance of developing creative skills for teachers as an effort to create a better learning environment. This research is expected to provide insights for educators and policy makers in designing training programs that support creativity in teaching.
