Abstract

The Problem of hisab and ru’yat on its development are not regardless of development Islamic thingking history who much be embellishment of ideology, mazhab or firqah, who present differentiation on opinion who related Islamic law framework especially in Indonesia. The result of understanding different about argumentation normative hisab-ru’yat were think out a differntiation and understanding on the Islamic member of a religious community. This thesis is field research, who has special understanding on construe of Hadis ru’yat al-hilal of Tarekat Syatariah. Interpretation this Hadith of Tarekat Syatariah have different understanding to understand the context of Hadis. Now focus of this research is to know understanding and implementation of Hadith ru’yat al-hilal according to Syatariah scholar Ulakan Padang Pariaman. The result of this research are, First, understanding of hadis ru’yat al-hilal according to Syatariah scolar Ulakan Padang Pariaman is both collaboration of that hadis, because of the first hadis be explanation of the second hadis that are when the moon can’t be seen with the naked eyes because closed of fog or cloud, than word of presuppositioning (faqdurulah) on the first hadis be exclamation of passages of Koran by supplying additional information by Syatariah scholar be completed Sya’ban moon to be 30 days. Second, understanding implementation of Hadis ru’yat al-hilal is with together see new moon (al-hilal) at place who be certained of scolar (Tuangku) from the last time , they are Ulakan beach Padang Pariaman and Koto Tuo Agam. They are see new moon naked eye, although use the modern tools to see it the last judgmen according to them how to see it with naked eye, if it can’t be seen so, the new moon was not visible, although with modern tools to see it, and that not have influenced on determination al-hilal was seem or not. Their jedgment is still on argument if the new moon can’t see with naked eyes, so, al-hilal be evidented not visible and Sya’ban moon be completed to 30 days.

Abstract

Teaching tahfizh al-Quran is one way to build student competence to do reasoning in and memorizing the Al-Qur’an. Given the changes in vision and mission as stated in the competency-based curriculum, it is necessary to make concrete efforts to prepare and make its implementation successful. This study aims to identify the teaching method of tahfizh al-Quran  at the Tafsir Hadis Major, to explain the strategy of optimally developing tahfizh al-Qur'an so that it can improve students' reasoning abilities and identify the level of students' reasoning ability after participating in the tahfizh al-Qur'an program at the Tafsir Hadis Major. This study is a development activity carried out in collaboration between students and lecturers to conceptually design the design of teaching materials based on experience and existing conditions. These two stages will always be accompanied by a process of evaluation and reflection to improve the designs developed. This research shows that first; the sima'i method is a method that is widely used by students in memorizing the Qur'an, secondly; the strategy of fostering tahfizh al-Quran   should be done with the muraja'ah method, Third; From the results of the calculation of the student's reasoning ability test scores, the average score of students' reasoning abilities in the high category was 48.82, the average category was 41.06, and the low category has obtained an average of 39. These different average gains indicate that the levels of students' reasoning abilities are different.

Abstract

Takhrij Hadis adalah kegiatan menelusuri hadis pada kitab sumber aslinya, merangkai perawi atau sanadnya, melihat ‎penilaian ulama terhadap mereka serta akhirnya bisa ditentukan kualitasnya; shahih, hasan, dha’if. Tujuan penelitian ini ‎untuk mengetahui urgensi layanan takhrij hadis pada Perpustakaan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Penelitian ini ‎menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui wawancara pada dosen pengampu mata ‎kuliah Ilmu Hadis dan pemustaka, observasi lapangan, studi pustaka serta dokumentasi. Selanjutnya, data dianalisis ‎dari sumber-sumber terkait penelitian ini, menyajikan data dan menyimpulkan tentang hasil peneltian yaitu urgensi ‎layanan takhrij hadis di Perpustakaan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Selanjutnya hasil dan pembahasan yang dikaji adalah ‎pengertian, metode dan tujuan, daftar kitab yang dibutuhkan dalam takhrij hadis, layanan takhrij hadis di Ruang ‎Referensi Perpustakaan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang, sumber informasi yang dibutuhkan dalam takhrij hadis, prosedur ‎layanan dan urgensi layanan takhrij hadis di Perpustakaan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang. Kesimpulannya bahwa koleksi ‎pendukung Takhrij Hadis di Perpustakaan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang sangat memadai, sangat mudah diakses, tempat ‎atau ruang layanan juga memadai, sehingga Perpustakaan UIN Imam Bonjol Padang sangat urgen sebagai tempat ‎melakukan Takhrij Hadis oleh pemustaka baik mahasiswa ataupun dosen yang mengajarkan mata kuliah ini.‎

Abstract

The study of manuscripts or manuscripts is generally seen from a philological perspective, but when we look more deeply at each religious manuscript using arguments in the form of the Qur'an and Prophetic Hadith. Therefore, in the manuscript of tanbih al-masyiy, the hadith of the prophet is found in the form of pieces without meeting the standards and methods of writing the correct hadith according to the agreed upon hadith scholars, in addition to the status and quality of the hadith is also unknown. Therefore, this article aims to examine and analyze the writing and quotation of the hadith, then perform takhrij, and finally look at the quality of the hadith used. The method used by the author is a qualitative research method with a literature approach. As for studying the hadith, the author uses the takhrij method through the words or phrases of the matn of the hadith which is prioritized with the phrases that are considered garib, using the hadith search encyclopedias software, namely through: 1) al-Maktabah al-Syamilah, version Shawwal 1444 AH, 2) Jawami' al-Kalim version 4,5 3) Hadith Soft and 4) In addition, the book al-Mu'jam al-Mufahras li-Alfaz al-Hadis al-Nabawiy compiled by A.J. Wensinck (ed.) was also used. The results of the reading that the author found were 62 citations, while the attribution of the hadith to the Messenger of Allah from the Companions was found to be 20 traditions, 7 traditions were mawquf traditions, and the names of the narrators were mentioned in 2 traditions only. The attribution is written with several variations of سلم و عليه لهل صلى, often summarized with the acronym صلعلم and even with ص alone. There are also unequivocal attributions to the Prophet such as و رد / فـقـد و رد / وقال / فقال. The takrij of the hadith conducted found that the text was only a snippet of the original text. In addition, there is also an additional redaction of the matan from the narrator. The sanad is referred to based on the assessment results in the application. Finally, the quality of the hadith varies from sahih, sahih/hasan (scholarly), sahih/daif (scholarly), daif, daif/maudhu' (scholarly), and maudhu'/la ashla lah.

Abstract

This article examines the ideological struggle that influenced the creation of the hadith book Hidayatu al-Thalibin by Buya Manshur, within the intellectual tradition of Minangkabau. This manuscript is crucial for understanding the transmission of hadith in the social, cultural, and political context of early 20th century Minangkabau. The era's colonialism and Islamic renewal movements impacted not only economic and political spheres but also intellectual dynamics, including hadith discourse. A qualitative approach, incorporating both textual and non-textual analysis, was employed to understand the socio-historical context influencing the book's writing process. Data were gathered through documentation and analysis of relevant texts and historical records. The study found that the religious struggle between traditionalists (kaum tuo) and modernists (kaum mudo) in the early 20th century significantly shaped the intellectual narrative of Hidayatu al-Thalibin. The book served as a medium for reinforcing the ideological identity of the traditionalists while also reflecting social criticism and cultural strategies in response to changes in Minangkabau. These findings highlight the importance of studying hadith regionalism to understand the social, cultural, and political dynamics influencing the development of local Islamic traditions, particu­larly in the Nusantara context. The implications underscore the need for further research into how regional socio-historical contexts shape religious texts and discourses.

Abstract

This study employs bibliometric analysis via VOSviewer to systematically map scholarly contributions on Living Hadith, elucidating current research trends, collaborative networks, and emerging trajectories within the field. Such mapping is critical for synthesising the intellectual landscape, identifying gaps, and guiding future interdisciplinary enquiries into the dynamic relationship between hadith traditions and contemporary sociocultural contexts. Data were extracted from the dimensions.ai database on December 12, 2024, using the keyword "Living Hadith." The study identified 335 relevant publications, predominantly categorised under Philosophy and Religious Studies. Jurnal Living Hadis emerged as the most prolific publication, publishing 36 articles, highlighting its significance as a platform for disseminating research on this subject. The study further reveals a collaborative network of 252 scholars affiliated with both domestic and international institutions. Notably, Muhammad Fatih Suryadilaga distinguishes himself as the most prolific contributor, with six publications, exemplifying individual scholarly dedication to advancing the field. Finally, the analysis identifies transformative future directions for Living Hadith research. While prior scholarship has predominantly examined localised traditions inspired by hadith, this study advocates broadening the scope to address global interdisciplinary themes, such as the integration of hadith values with scientific innovation, economic systems, and environmental sustainability. This growth makes the study deeper and more relevant to today's world, allowing Living Hadith to help solve modern challenges through Islamic understanding.
