Abstract

Trigonometry is a difficult chapter for some students, so teachers must be able to use learning models combined with learning media or a special tactic to be able to make students have a good understanding. The purpose of this researcg was to find out whether the Problem Based Learning model assisted by trigonometry hand tricks is better than the conventional learning model which usually used by teacher in class. This research using quantative approach with quasi experimental design. The data used in this study were data of result study trigonometry chapter from class X-1 as an experimental class and class X-3 as a control class in an educational unit, SMA Negeri 10 Semarang. The results of the SPSS-assisted independent T-test that have been applied in this study indicate that the calculated T value is less than the 5% significance level, there is 0.030 <0.05. This states that there is an average difference between the experimental class and the control class. Based on this it was concluded that the Problem Based Learning model assisted by trigonometry hand tricks is better than the conventional learning model with the lecture method. Abstract

Kata Kunci: Kemampuan Pemecahan Masalah, Resiliensi Matematik, Problem Based Learning.  Abstract : This study aim of research is to determine the effectiveness of CRT-integrated PBL on students' problem-solving abilities and to describe problem-solving abilities in terms of mathematical resilience in CRT-integrated PBL. This research uses mixed methods with an explanatory sequential design. This research was carried out at SMA Negeri 10 Semarang. The sample in this study was class XI-2 and and XI-4. The subjects of this research were 6 students selected based on the categories of high, medium and low levels of mathematical resilience. Quantitative data analysis techniques use normality tests, homogeneity tests, average tests, proportion tests, average difference tests, and simple linear regression tests. Qualitative data analysis techniques are the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research indicate that CRT integrated PBL is effective on students' problem solving abilities, this is shown by the results (1) KPM students in CRT integrated PBL learning achieve individual mastery with the average KPM test results of students with integrated PBL CRT more than 70; (2) KPM students in CRT-integrated PBL achieve classical completion with the proportion of students who individually complete CRT-integrated PBL learning of more than 75%; (3) the average KPM for the experimental class is better than the control class; and (4) there is an influence of mathematical resilience of  on students' KPM in CRT integrated PBL learning. Keywords: Problem solving ability, Mathematical resiliency, Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

Kata Kunci: Problem based learning, kemampuan pemecahan masalah   Abstract : This study aims to determine the effectiveness of a culturally responsive PBL model using e-LKPD in improving the problem-solving skills of students in grades XI-2. This activity was carried out at SMA Negeri 10 Semarang, focusing on Grade XI-2 students as research subjects. A quantitative approach was used in this study using a single-group post-test experimental design. The data collection method involves taking a test that measures the ability to solve mathematical problems in a matrix material. The results of this study show that PBL learning with a culturally responsive teaching method supported by E-LKPD was successful in improving students' problem-solving skills. Evidence supporting this conclusion includes: (1) an increase in problem-solving ability after the post-test, (2) an increase in mean score from pretest to posttest, from 79.08 to 93.5 , and (3) the N-gain value reached 0.0.7494, indicating a greater ability to solve high-level mathematical problems. Keywords: Problem based learning, problem solving abilities
