Abstract

Sepsis can be difficult to distinguish from non-infections conditions in critically ill patients with clinical signs of inflammation.Diagnosis of sepsis by conventional methods (erythrocyte sedimentation rate, CRP) are difficult to be confirmed. Procalcitonin (PCT)was found in 1990s, which number was enhanced in bacterial and fungi infections. Procalcitonin (PCT) is calcitonin (PCT) prohormonwhich presence increasing in sepsis and severe diseases. Procalcitonin (PCT) can be measured in serum and plasma by immunolometricmethods (immunoassay). The process needs 30 minutes to 1.5 hours depends on the selected method. It can be hope in the future, that methods of Procalcitonin (PCT) measurement can used as a means for early sepsis detection and can distinguish between systemicinfection and acute inflammatory disease.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the adjustment of seats to individual needs and student learning outcomes, especially on research results. There are still schools where the teacher has not made seat adjustments. As for the formulation of the problem of this research is how the effect of adjusting the organizational structure of the seats on the individual needs of students and how the effect of adjusting the seating organization on student learning outcomes. In this study, researchers took one of the elementary schools in the city of Bandung. The sample used as a data source is 23 grade 5 students. Data collection was carried out by direct observation, interviews and documentation studies. The time for carrying out the research was October-November 2022 at one of the public elementary schools in the city of Bandung. Seating organization adjustments can help solve individual student needs, this is because seating arrangements are adjusted to learning methods so that students can analyze student learning needs. With seating arrangements the teacher can reach all students by grouping students according to their learning needs, and answering according to the formulation of the problem.

Abstract

This article discusses the application of the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model to improve learning outcomes in measurement material in elementary schools. The PTK method is an effective approach in identifying learning problems, formulating solutions, and testing their effectiveness directly in the classroom. The PBL model, as a student-centered learning approach, has been proven effective in improving student learning outcomes in measurement material in elementary schools. In the context of measurement, the application of the PBL model is expected to strengthen students' understanding of basic measurement concepts, such as units of measurement, measuring tools, and their application in the context of everyday life. PBL offers a student-centered learning approach, which not only helps students understand mathematical concepts, but also encourages active involvement, problem solving, and the development of critical thinking skills.
