Abstract

WhatsApp is one of the social media that is used to communicate in the learning process. At present, students cannot be separated from their daily activities away from this social media. This opportunity can be utilized as well as possible by the students. This research was conducted to find out of using WhatsApp toward undergraduate students’ behavior in the teaching and learning process. This study was descriptive qualitative research. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis technique. The data were collected using interviews, observation, and documentation. The aim of this study to analyze the impact of WhatsApp toward undergraduate students’ behavior and to analyze students’ behavior in their learning process. The result of this research showed that are a positive impact on student behavior as it affects the learning process as, students’ sharing knowledge, student preparation for class, attention, student participation in class, student learning, desires to take additional classes or in subject matter and the negative impact such as, students are more focused.

Abstract

Factor analysis is a statistical method used to describe a set of variables based on common dimensions. Factor analysis that is often used is the classical factor analysis with principal components method. Classical factor analysis can not work properly if the data contained many outliers. In order factor analysis remains optimal in explaining a set of variables even in conditions of data containing many outliers, we need a robust estimator. Through factor analysis is expected to obtain robust high accuracy analysis results for data containing many outliers. Estimator fast-MCD is one of the robust estimator that aims to get the smallest determinant of the covariance matrix. Robust factor analysis with fast-MCD method in this thesis is applied to explain the many subgroups of food at food inflation rate in Central Java into a more modest dimensions. The total proportion of the data variance can be explained by factors that are formed through a robust method of factor analysis in foodstuffs inflation data in Central Java that is equal to 72.9 percent larger than the classical factor analysis method which generates at 53.5 percent. This suggests that a more robust factor analysis method is able to cope with food inflation data in Central Java group containing outliers of the classical factor analysis method.

Abstract

Student learning outcomes are an indicator of the success of teaching and learning activities carried out. This research aims to determine the improvement in student learning outcomes in economics courses by implementing the problem-based learning model a quantitative research method with a quasi-experimental approach. The population of this research was 205 students in class XI social at SMAN 7 Tasikmalaya, and the sample used was 136 students using a purposive sampling technique consisting of two experimental classes and two control classes. The experimental class uses the Problem-Based Learning learning model, while the control class uses the conventional learning model. Students in each class are given a pretest, and then learning is carried out according to a predetermined model, and then a posttest is carried out. The questions used are 25 multiple-choice questions, and then the results or grades obtained by students are analyzed further.  The results of this study show that there are differences between before and after treatment in the experimental class and control class. This research concludes that the implications of implementing a problem-based learning model as an alternative to conventional models can be used in an effort to improve student learning outcomes in economics courses.

Abstract

Akuntabilitas publik adalah dasar utama dari proses tata kelola yang baik. Konsep tata kelola yang baik digunakan untuk menciptakan baik, demokrasi dan pemerintahan desa yang dapat dipercaya, pemerintah dengan akuntabilitas publik berarti bahwa pemerintah selalu bersedia untuk account untuk semua kegiatan yang diamanatkan oleh orang-orang. Sebenarnya masih ada banyak lembaga-lembaga publik yang belum mengimplementasikan konsep tata kelola yang baik dalam sistem pemerintahan, terutama di akuntabilitas dana. Dana desa adalah bagian dari desa pendapatan berasal dari APBN. Dalam penggunaannya dana desa diprioritaskan untuk bidang pembangunan pedesaan dan bidang pemberdayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan akuntabilitas dana desa pada 2017 dalam mewujudkan pemerintahan yang baik di pemerintah desa Genengan, Kecamatan Doko, Kabupaten. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan oleh pengamatan dan wawancara dengan pemerintah desa Genengan dan beberapa pemimpin masyarakat serta melihat kelengkapan dokumen manajemen dana desa. Data Diperoleh dari studi dianalisis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan membandingkan data yang terkait dengan dana desa akuntabilitas dalam mewujudkan pemerintahan yang baik. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan mengumpulkan data yang Diperoleh dari pengamatan langsung dan wawancara. Hasil studi ini menunjukkan bahwa akuntabilitas dana desa di desa Genengan telah memenuhi kriteria untuk mewujudkan pemerintahan yang baik. Dimana pemerintah desa telah melaksanakan Program dana desa sesuai dengan peraturan dan melibatkan unsur pemerintah, lembaga desa,dan masyarakat juga merasa dari hasil akuntabilitas pemerintah desa dengan selalu menjadi terlibat dalam Rapat desa atau musrenbang dan sebagai pengawas atau pemantauan dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan dana desa.
