Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of country of origin, perceived quality and brand on smartphone purchasing decisions. The subject of this study is a smartphone that is sold officially in Indonesian market. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling with the number of samples used amounting to 120 samples which were active users of smartphones. Validity and reliability test results show that the research instrumentsare valid and reliable. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 22 software. The results show that country of origin variables partially do not have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions while perceived quality and brand variablespartially positive and significant influence purchasing decisions. Simultaneously, country of origin variables, perceived quality and brand have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Komunikasi pemasaran sebagai satu strategi pemasaran yang dilakukan untuk memberi informasi, mengenalkan produk dan mempengaruhi konsumen untuk menggunakan produk yang ditawarkan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk (1) Menjelaskan hubungan yang signifikan antara orientasi inovasi dengan komunikasi pemasaran pada UKM yang dikelola perempuan (2) Menjelaskan hubungan yang signifikan antara komunikasi pemasaran dengan kinerja pemasaran pada UMKM yang dikelola perempuan (3) Menjelaskan hubungan yang signifikan antara orientasi inovasi dengan kinerja pemasaran pada UKM yang dikelola perempuan. Responden penelitian adalah UKM yang dikelola perempuan dengan sampel penelitian berjumlah 200 sampel. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalaha teknik modeling statistik SEM dengan alat analisis PLS. Dari hasil penelitian diketahui terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara orientasi inovasi dan komunikasi pemasaran pada UKM yang dikelola perempuan. Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara komunikasi pemasaran dengan kinerja pemasaran UKM dan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara orientasi inovasi dan kinerja pemasaran UKM. Diharapkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan data empiris dan hasil pembahasan yang bermanfaat bagi pelaku UKM. Diharapakan juga hasil penelitian dapat menambah litaratur kajian penelitian sejenis dan menjadi masukan bagi pemerintah daerah.

Abstract

Sampah dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menambah penghasilan masyarakat seperti melalui pendirian Bank Sampah. Pendirian bank sampah dapat memiliki dampak yang positif bagi masyarakat dan lingkungan. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan yang dihadapi oleh mitra melalui peran bank sampah dalam meningkatkan kesehatan lingkungan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Pengabdian dilaksanakan pada tanggal 7 September 2020 di Kantor Desa Simpang Sungai Duren dan diikuti oleh 20 orang peserta yang terdiri dari tua tengganai dan pengelola BumDes. Kegiatan pengabdian dilaksanakan dengan metode ceramah berupa sosialisasi. Antusiasme peserta kegiatan menunjukkan keingintahuan peserta bagaimana cara mendirikan bank sampah dan hal lain terkait bank sampah serta manfaatnya bagi warga lingkungan dan kesehatan masyarakat sekitar.

Abstract

The behavior of consuming green food is one form of alternative solution in an effort to maintain environmental sustainability due to consumption activities. This research aims to analyze : (1) how is the relationship between lifestyle, consumer values ??and interest in purchasing green food (2) what is the relationship between lifestyle, consumer values ??and purchasing behavior of green food consumers with purchase intention as a mediating variable, and (3) how direct relationship between interest in purchasing green food and consumer purchasing behavior. The research design uses quantitative analysis methods. The research population is consumers of food products in Jambi Province with a research sample of 200 respondents. Nonprobability sampling technique was used for research sampling. The instrument used was a research questionnaire. The data was analyzed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM/PLS) with the smart PLS tool. From the research results, it is known that lifestyle does not have a significant influence on interest and purchasing behavior of green food. Meanwhile, the perceived value of consumers has a significant influence on green food purchasing interest and behavior. Furthermore, asking consumers to purchase green food also shows a significant relationship to purchasing behavior. This research is expected to provide a substantial theoretical contribution to other researchers in fields with related interests.

Abstract

Entrepreneurship plays a pivotal role in a nation's economic development, and it is essential for women to participate and innovate in this sphere actively. This study seeks to investigate and delineate the following: (1) the correlation between the degree of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial challenges, the entrepreneurial environment, and the innovation of female entrepreneurs; (2) the interplay between the level of entrepreneurship, entrepreneurial challenges, and the innovation of female entrepreneurs, with the entrepreneurial environment acting as a mediating factor; and (3) the framework of entrepreneurial innovation specific to female entrepreneurs. This research focuses on female entrepreneurs engaged in eco-friendly business practices in the Jambi Province, involving a sample of 200 respondents. A nonprobability sampling technique was employed to select participants. Data collection was carried out using a structured questionnaire. The gathered data was analysed using the Structural Equation Model (SEM/PLS) via the Smart PLS tool. The findings reveal significant links between the degree of entrepreneurship and the entrepreneurial environment, as well as between entrepreneurial challenges and both the entrepreneurial environment and eco-friendly entrepreneurial innovation. The primary goal is to develop an empirical model of eco-friendly entrepreneurial innovation, which can be utilised to promote environmental sustainability by integrating key factors identified in the current study. This research is anticipated to make a significant theoretical contribution to scholars in related fields.

Abstract

Tujuan dari kegiatan Pengabdian Pada Masyarakat (PPM) ini untuk memberikan pelatihan pengembangan sumber daya manusia guna meningkatkan potensi wirausaha di kalangan masyarakat Jambi Kota Seberang. Metode yang diterapkan dalam pelaksanaan PPM mencakup ceramah motivasi, pelatihan kewirausahaan, dan pendampingan secara langsung kepada masyarakat dengan tahapan persiapan hingga evaluasi guna memantau perkembangan sumber daya manusia serta meningkatkan potensi kewirausahaan di kalangan masyarakat Jambi Kota Seberang. Kelompok sasaran pada pengabdian ini adalah kelompok masyarakat umum di Jambi Kota Seberang. Hasil kegiatan di Jambi Kota Seberang menunjukkan bahwa potensi wirausaha yang dimiliki oleh masyarakat setempat masih belum berkembang sepenuhnya, oleh karena itu diperlukan langkah-langkah untuk merumuskan visi, misi, serta tujuan dan mengatur ide-ide untuk memulai usaha dan arah perkembangan bisnis serta struktur persaingan industri yang terlibat didalamnya. Pengembangan sumber daya manusia menjadi kunci utama dalam meningkatkan potensi wirausaha di Jambi Kota Seberang dengan cara memperdalam pemahaman terhadap konsep kewirausahaan dan memberikan latihan-latihan pada praktik pengembangan sumber daya manusia yang berjiwa kewirausahaan melalu beberapa tahap yang mencakup pendidikan dan peningkatkan keterampilan. Penting untuk memperhatikan bahwa masih ada masalah dalam administrasi dan manajemen yang perlu diselesaikan: seperti penyusunan proposal pinjam modal dan perencanaan bisnis; penggunaan teknologi; pemasokan bahan baku; kualitas dan kuantitas barang; serta persoalan ketenagakerjaan yang bisa menjadi pendukung untuk kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat selanjutnya.

Abstract

The success of an entrepreneur orientation from an Islamic perspective is not only measured in material success but also in a growing business. Muslimah entrepreneur needs passion and alertness in entrepreneurship to help to shape an entrepreneurial optimism and make decisions as well as business development efforts. The aims of the research are (1). Analyzing the influence of entrepreneurial passion on entrepreneurial alertness (2). Analyzing the influence of entrepreneurial alertness on Islamic entrepreneurial orientation (3). Analyzing the influence of entrepreneurial passion on Islamic entrepreneurial orientation. Data were collected from a sample of 86 Muslimah entrepreneurs from the Association of Muslimah Entrepreneurs in Jambi Province. Data collection is carried out using a questionnaire as the instrument research. Moreover, path analysis is used to analyze the influence of each variable studied. The results showed that there is a positive and significant influence between: entrepreneurial passion on entrepreneurial alertness, entrepreneurial alertness on Islamic entrepreneurial orientation, and entrepreneurial passion on the Islamic entrepreneurial orientation of Muslimah entrepreneurs. Research implementation will enhance the passion and alertness of Muslimah entrepreneurs and it suggests further studies to strengthen the model of research particularly in terms of Islamic entrepreneurship perspective.
