Abstract

Kesejahteraan psikologis pada suami dan istri merupakan hal yang penting karena mampu menghasilkan pernikahan harmonis dan terhindar dari perceraian. Kasus perceraian mengalami peningkatan tiap tahunnya, hal ini mengindikasikan semakin banyaknya pernikahan yang kurang harmonis dan memiliki kesejahteraan psikologis yang buruk. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji kontribusi koping religus terhadap kesejahteraa n psikologis pada suami dan istri serta menguji perbedaan kesejahteraan psikologis antara suami dan istri. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan melibatkan 342 partisipan (215 istri dan 127 suami), berusia 21 -70 tahun. Teknik analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah regresi sederhana dan independent sample test. Hasil penelitian menemukan bahwa terdapat kontribusi koping religius terhadap kesejahteraan psikologis pada istri dan suami, dengan besaran pengaruh 27%. Pada dimensi-dimensi kesejahteraan psikologis, kecuali dimensi otonomi, mampu dipengaruhi oleh koping religius. Selain itu ditemukan bahwa kelompok partisipan istri dan suami memiliki kesejahteraan dalam kategori tinggi, maka diketahui bahwa tidak ada perbedaan kesejahteraan psikologis antara istri dan suami.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of conscientiousness personality trait on psychological well-being of married individuals facing complex life issues. The attainment of psychological well-being is essential for individuals to cope and thrive during challenging times. Conscientiousness trait is known to promote commitment and a drive to achieve life goals, which can positively affect psychological well-being of married individuals. The study adopts a quantitative approach with 144 married participants (92 females and 52 males) aged 21-63 years. The primary analytical techniques use simple regression and correlation as additional analyses to examine the relationship between conscientiousness and psychological well-being, as well as the dimensions of both variables. The results show that conscientiousness has an influence on psychological well-being, and correlates with all aspects of the variable.

Abstract

Lansia seringkali merasakan kesepian dalam hidupnya dikarenakan banyak hal. Kesepian dirasakan karena ketiadaan figur kasih sayang yang intim dari anak dan ketiadaan figur kasih sayang yang intim dari suami setelah suami subjek meninggal. Kesepian yang dirasakan seringkali mengganggu aktivitas sehari-hari penderita. Untuk itulah dibutuhkan pengatasan yang berguna dalam mengatasi kesepian yang sedang dirasakan. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengatasan kesepian yang dilakukan oleh warakawuri di masa usia lanjut. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian sejumlah tiga orang warakawuri. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesepian emosi, kesepian sementara, dan kesepian situasional adalah jenis kesepian yang biasa dirasakan oleh ketiga subjek penelitian. Adapun pengatasan kesepian yang biasa dilakukan oleh ketiga subjek penelitian adalah kesedihan pasif, pengingkaran, aktif isolasi, jaringan dukungan sosial, dan pengatasan mental. Pengatasan kesepian yang dilakukan ketiga subjek penelitian ternyata cukup dapat membantu mereka menghadapi kesepian yang tengah mereka rasakan.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menguji hubungan antara self compassion dan resiliensi pada perempuan dewasa awal berusia 20-40 tahun yang telah bercerai dan belum menikah kembali. Adapun sampel pada penelitian ini berjumlah 51 sampel. Teknik pengumpulan sampel yang digunakan dengan tehnik snowball sampling. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan bantuan analisis data yang dilakukan dengan SPSS for windows 22 melalui teknik korelasi bivariat dari Pearson. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis yang telah diujikan kepada 51 responden perempuan dewasa awal yang bercerai dapat diketahui bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara self compassion dan resiliensi dengan taraf signifikan sebesar 0.353 (ρ > 0.05). Hal ini berarti hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini ditolak, atau dapat dikatakan bahwa tidak ada hubungan antara self compassion dan resiliensi pada perempuan dewasa awal berusia 20-40 tahun yang telah bercerai hidup dan belum menikah kembali. Selain itu, berdasarkan analisis deskriptif, diketahui bahwa variabel self compassion berada pada kategori sedang dan resiliensi pada kategori tinggi.

Abstract

Bekerja merupakan suatu kebutuhan yang harus terpenuhi oleh seorang suami untuk memenuhi kebutuhan keluarganya. Namun, seiring berjalannya waktu dan perkembangan zaman atas tekanan ekonomi yang semakin mendesak, seorang istri harus turun tangan dalam membantu perekonomian keluarga karena penghasilan yang dihasilkan oleh suami tidak dapat mencukupi. Bagi keluarga dengan anak usia dini, ibu bekerja memiliki peran yang sangat kompleks dikarenakan pengasuhan anak usia dini dititikberatkan pada ibu. Penelitian ini bertujuan agar seorang ibu tetap dapat melakukan parenting self efficacy pada anak usia balita agar tetap dapat melakukan perannya sebagai seorang ibu untuk memenuhi kebutuhan secara psikologis anak- anak usia balita. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menggali data secara deskriptif. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi dan memodifikasi skala SEPTI (Self efficacy for parenting task index) dengan jumlah 36 item dari Coleman dan Karraker (2000). Berdasarkan analisis deskriptif statistic dengan responden 105 ibu yang bekerja dan memiliki anak usia balita, menunjukkan perhitungan mean empiric yang sangat tinggi artinya responden penelitian ini memiliki kemampuan dalam menjalankan pengasuhan anak balita ditengah kesibukannya dalam menjalani pekerjaan.

Abstract

In recent decades, working women’s social and economic reality has significantly transformed. Not only contributing to the household but having an important role in the world of work in various professional sectors. This research examines the influence of burnout and work-life balance on psychological well-being in full-time working women. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis as a quantitative method. The sample of this research was 103 full-time working women using a purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were the Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI), the work-life balance scale, and the psychological well-being scale. The results of the data analysis show that burnout can negatively affect psychological well-being in full-time working women, and work-life balance can positively affect psychological well-being in full-time working women. Then, burnout and work-life balance affect the psychological well-being of full-time working women simultaneously with a significant influence (R-squared) of .604, which means that the burnout and work-life balance variables influence 60.4% on psychological well-being and other variables influence the remaining 39.6%.

Abstract

Purpose: Retinoblastoma is the most common primary intraocular tumour in children. Its prognosis varies depending on the stage of diagnosis. However, in developing countries such as Indonesia, retinoblastoma still has a poor prognosis as most patients present at advanced stages. This research aims to explore the factors influencing the delay in patients with retinoblastoma reaching referral health facilities from the perspective of their families. Methods: A qualitative study using a phenomenological approach was conducted to gather family perspectives through in-depth interviews via WhatsApp calls. Each interview lasted 20-25 minutes and included families of retinoblastoma patients who had visited the eye clinic at Sardjito General Hospital at a late hour. “Late” was defined as tumour spread beyond the eyeball (intraorbital, spread to the optic nerve, or intracranial spread) or involvement of more than one eye. Audio was transcribed verbatim using a mobile phone voice recorder, and open coding was performed using Open Code 4.02 software to identify meaning units, codes, and categories. Triangulation and peer debriefing were used to ensure validity and trustworthiness. Results: Several categories emerged, including reasons for seeking help, trust in medical professionals, family compassion, and challenges in health facilities. Challenges in health facilities, particularly diagnostic capabilities, communication, and education about eye tumours, along with negative emotions like denial from families, contributed to delays in seeking treatment for retinoblastoma patients. Conclusion: Family compassion plays a positive role in encouraging families to seek medical help. However, challenges in health facilities, particularly in diagnosis, communication, and education about eye tumors, as well as family denial, contribute to the delays in retinoblastoma patients reaching referral health facilities.

Abstract

Generation Z is known for frequently moving from one company to another. This is related to how Generation Z employees commit to their jobs both emotionally and intellectually within an organization or company. In other words, the issue among Generation Z employees is related to work engagement. The aim of rhis research is to determine the influence of transformational leadership and psychological capital on work engagement among generation Z employees. The population of this research is generation Z employees aged 18-27 years. In sampling, non-probability sampling techniques with purposive sampling were used. This research involved 102 generation Z employees as participants. The measuring instruments used are the Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire (MLQ) by Bass and Avolio (2004) with a realibility value of 0.953, the Psychological Capital Questionnaire – Short Version (PCQ) by Luthans, Avolio, Avey, and Norman (2007) with a reliability value of 0.817, and the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) by Schaufeli and Bakker (2004) with a reliability value of 0.948. data collection in this research was carried out by providing an online questionnaire using google forms. The data analysis technique in this reasearch uses multiple linear regression. Based on the result of the research conducted, it shows that there is a significant influence of transformational leadership and psychological capital together on work engaggement in generation Z employees, amounting to 88,4% with a significance value of 0.000. Separately, transformational leadership has an influence of 47,9% with a significance value of 0.000 on work engagement, while psychological capital has an influence of 47,6% with a significance value of 0.000 on work engagement. Therefore,it is important to pay attention to leadership style and psychological capital to increase employee work engagement.

Abstract

Contraceptive decision-making is a complex process influenced by an interplay of psychological characteristics and interpersonal dynamics.  which may contribute to dissatisfaction and discontinuation among users. This study examined the effects of conscientiousness as a personality trait and dyadic communication on the quality of contraceptive decision-making among women of reproductive age. A cross-sectional study design was employed.  involving 186 married women aged 20–50 years who were current contraceptive users.  recruited through purposive sampling. Data were collected using the Big Five Personality Scale (α = 0.82).  the Dyadic Communication Scale (α = 0.89).  and the Decision-Making Scale (α = 0.87). Multiple linear regression analysis demonstrated that conscientiousness (β = 0.563.  p < 0.001) and dyadic communication (β = 0.358.  p < 0.001) were significant predictors of decision-making quality.  collectively accounting for 79.2% of the variance (R² = 0.792). In addition.  significant differences in decision-making quality were identified across age groups.  educational levels.  contraceptive methods.  and employment status. These findings underscore the importance of integrating psychological traits and partner communication into contraceptive counseling strategies to improve informed and satisfactory decision-making among women of reproductive age.
