Abstract

Background: Premature birth occurs before 37 weeks of complete gestation, weighs less than 2,500 grams, and is the main cause of newborn death and the second cause of death in children under five. Premature babies are at higher risk for illness, disability, and death. Changes in heart rate in premature babies can occur after being given a recording of the mother's voice, which contains 3 types: speaking, reading, and singing. The results showed an effect of recording the mother's voice on changes in heart rate in premature infants. This community service activity aims to increase nurses' knowledge about the importance of the mother's voice on changes in the heart rate of premature babies. Methods: Community service activities were carried out twice. The first activity was carried out through a zoom meeting which explained the importance of the mother's voice in premature babies with the help of PowerPoint media. Then continued, the second activity in the form of a demonstration of Mother's voting. Results: The pre-test showed that 9 nurses (100%) had less knowledge about the importance of the mother's voice for the heart rate of premature babies. After receiving education and demonstration regarding the mother's voting, the post-test results were that 7 nurses (78%) had good knowledge and 2 nurses (22%) had poor knowledge. Conclusion: Nurses become aware of the importance of the mother's voice in increasing the heart rate of premature babies.

Metodes: the research approach used was analytic observation with a croos sectional design. This study involved 332 pregnant women who come to the Health Center. In this study, the independent variables were history of hypertension, obesity, and hormonal birth control use; the incidence of HDK was the dependent variable. Data was collected using a documention study approach with an observation sheets. To analyse the data, a logistic regression statistical test was used with an error rate of α 0.05. The results showed that pregnant women with HDK were exposed to hypertension 45.6%, and hormonal birth control by 36.3%. The result of bivariate analysis of hypertension history with HDK is o.o1 < α 0.05, and the variable of obesity with HDK is 0.024 < α 0.05 and the variable of hormonal birth control history with HDK is 0.21% < α 0.05. The conclusion of the results showed that of the three factors contributing to the incidence of HDK, only the history of hypertension and obesity had a significant influence, with a history of hypertension accounting for 9.9% of HDK cases. Abstract

Breast milk is a white liquid produced by a woman's mammary glands and given through the breastfeeding process. Based on an initial survey conducted in the working area of Alusi Community Health Center, out of 10 respondents given a questionnaire, 7 did not provide exclusive breastfeeding, while 3 did. Among them, 4 had low knowledge, 3 had moderate knowledge, and 3 had good knowledge. Additionally, 6 respondents had a negative attitude, while 4 had a positive attitude. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between mothers' knowledge and attitudes toward exclusive breastfeeding at the Lumasebu Posyandu. This study employs a correlational analytic research design. The study population consists of all mothers with infants aged 6–24 months at Lumasebu Posyandu from November to December 2024, totaling 30 participants, using a saturated sampling method. The independent variables in this study are knowledge and attitude, while the dependent variable is exclusive breastfeeding. The data used include both primary and secondary data. The study applies the Spearman Rank correlation analysis. The findings show that knowledge has a p-value of 0.008, leading to the rejection of Ho (p < 0.05), indicating a significant relationship between knowledge and exclusive breastfeeding. Attitude has a p-value of 0.005 (< 0.05), meaning there is a significant relationship between mothers' attitudes and exclusive breastfeeding. The independent variable with the highest OR value is attitude, with an OR of 8.224, indicating that attitude is the dominant factor influencing exclusive breastfeeding.
