Abstract

Covid-19 pandemic has a significant impact on various aspects of life, both individually, organizationally and nationally. The decision of various countries in the world to do a "lockdown" in order to limit the transmission of the plague has an impact on continuity of economic wheels to education. Educational institutions began to close because of scarcity of students and difficulties in covering operational costs so that many teachers and management were laid off. For educational institutions that still survive must play a strategy to stay afloat and maintain their students able to learn, with the policy ‘Work from Home’ and ‘School from Home’. The pandemic to this day is not over yet and it is predicted that it will last long until the antivirus is found. However, in anticipation of bankruptcy, the government adopted adaptation of new habits (New Normal), habits that emphasize the implementation of health protocols in every activity. To carry out health protocols, educational institutions change the learning patterns from learning in classrooms to online learning. This has an impact on lecturers with demands to adapt quickly to existing changes. This study tries to analyze and examine the ability of lecturers to adapt learning communication models from classroom-based learning to online-based learning. With hope that this research will become a reference for the developed communication model and its application in adaptation of new habits (New Normal). The study was conducted by examining the results of previous study and in-depth interviews with lecturers to get a diverse picture so that generic conclusions can be drawn.

Abstract

This study was intended to get a comprehensive picture of meaning construction in building the quality of healthy life. This research used symbolic interaction theory of George Herbert Mead. The study relied on phenomenological approach under a paradigm of constructivism using interpretative analysis. In-depth interview, observation, and documentation study were conducted to collect data. This study found that the motives of Herbalife community health club Ersanddi members to participate in a healthy life program because they wanted to lose weight and to be physically fit.  The meaning of healthy lifestyle for them is to be able to enjoy their life and worship to the Creator without any obstacles. The meaning of healthy life to the members of Herbalife community health club of Ersanddi was influenced by their environment namely significant others and reference groups.

Abstract

Sendang Senjoyo is a pond that has its own spring and has a beautiful view. Located in Tegalwaton Village, Tingkir District, Salatiga Regency, Central Java, making it a tourist location that promises to be natural beauty with a cool atmosphere with the freshness of cold and clear water making it a suitable tourist spot to unwind and relax with family. With the existence of this tourist attraction, it helps the economy of the surrounding community through MSMEs that stand at the tourist attraction. This research method uses a qualitative descriptive approach, the purpose of this research is to find out how the agglomeration of SMEs and Image Branding Destinations in Tourism Village Development as an Economic Improvement of Village Community with the focus of research on SMEs in the tourist attraction of Sendang Senjoyo, Salatiga. The resource persons taken in this study amounted to 4 people consisting of the Head of Tegalwaton Village, Semarang Regency, the tourism object manager (BUMDES) Sendang Senjoyo, MSME actors in Sendang Senjoyo and the surrounding community or tourists. The results of this study indicate the management of the Senjoyo tourist attraction is carried out by the Tegalwaton Village government in collaboration with the Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDES) and local communities. Image Branding Destination Sendang Senjoyo tourist attraction was built with the concept of spiritual, nature, entertainment, tree museum and springs. The lack of facilities and infrastructure at the Senjang Senjoyo tourist attraction which is still not optimal and not functioning properly, as well as the absence of natural resource development for MSME actors to be given training in improving the ability to manage business. The arrangement of selling places at the Sendang Senjoyo tourist attraction is also still not neatly arranged and the development of merchant places is not evenly distributed because many permanent buildings still use wood and tarpaulin.

Abstract

General elections serve as a democratic means to realize a government system based on the sovereignty of the people. However, many community members still lack understanding of the procedures involved in general elections. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct socialization on the implementation of general elections for the public. The purpose of this socialization is to raise awareness among the community about the importance of general elections and provide information on the procedures involved. The socialization was carried out for residents of RT 04 RW 16, Bekasi District, on December 17, 2023, using an engaging secondary socialization approach. During this socialization, various topics were covered, including the significance of the community's role in the 2024 general elections and the prevention of abstention (GOLPUT) activities. The results of the socialization indicate that residents of RT 04 RW 16 have gained a better understanding of the procedures involved in general elections. They are also more motivated to exercise their voting rights in the 2024 general elections
