Abstract

Non-formal institutions such as a tutorial should always be ready with the changes issued by the government in the field of education. It should also be ready to compete with other tutorial and schools who offer tutorial services. To the authors chose the title "Marketing Communication Strategy Training and Tutoring Institute (Bimbel Solusi) Bintang Solusi Mandiri Branch Cipinang to Increase the Number of Students". Basic Theory used in this research is the theory of Marketing Mix according to Kotler Keller and SWOT Analysis by Fred R David. The method used in this research is qualitative - interpretive using case studies. Results of this research is Communication Strategy Training Institute and Tutoring Bintang Solusi Mandiri Branch Cipinang month of August 2018, namely the Direct Selling to residential introduce Tutoring (Bimbel) Solution through brochures, presentation Bimbel Solusi for each class in the school - the school through brochures, Distribution the share of school construction amounted to Rp.50.000 / student who joined Bimbel Solusi Branch Cipinang, follow-up database of students in the school by telephone and short message service (SMS) and then factor - a factor which supports the Institute for Training and Tutoring Bintang Solusi Mandiri Branch Cipinang in the areas of Strategy MarketingCommunication to increase the number of students is a factor of the program.

Abstract

AbstractThe roles and functions of Political Parties have been degraded lately due to negative stereotypes towards Political Parties, including the Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS). It happened because some PKS cadres were caught by the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) in mass media coverage. Besides, the formation of Political Parties including the Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) as the birthplace of national leadership seems to be less than optimal. For this reason, researcher was interested in discussing the use of public relations communication media for PKS through the media in improving the image of the institution. Based on this context, this study aims to determine the utilization of PKS Communication Media in Improving the Image and analyze the factors that support PKS Communication Media Use. This study uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observation, documentation and literature study. Interviews were conducted on 4 (four) informants representing the PKS Public Relations Division at both the DKI Jakarta Province level and DPC PKS at the Pulogadung District level. The results showed that the utilization of the media for the use of communication media, especially social media by PKS public relations, among others were Photo PKS, TV PKS, Digital Volunteers, Literacy Volunteers, PKS Art, and the creation of short videos advertised. Factors supporting the use of communication media are solid HR PKS cadres and sufficient funding sources to support the use of communication media, especially social media, in reducing the negative stereotypes of the community towards PKS and improving the image of the Jakarta PKS. Abstrak Peran dan fungsi Partai Politik akhir-akhir ini telah terdegradasi karena adanya  stereotip negatif terhadap Partai Politk, termasuk Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS). Hal ini karena beberapa kader PKS tertangkap Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) dalam pemberitaan media massa. Selain itu pengkaderan Partai Politik termasuk Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) sebagai tempat lahirnya kepemimpinan nasional terlihat kurang maksimal. Untuk itu peneliti tertarik membahas pemanfaatan media komunikasi humas Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) melalui media dalam meningkatkan citra lembaga. Berdasarkan konsteks tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pemanfaatan Media Komunikasi Humas Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) DKI Jakarta Dalam Meningkatkan Citra dan menganalisis  faktor-faktor yang mendukung Pemanfaatan Media Komunikasi Humas Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) DKI Jakarta. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa wawancara, observasi, dokumentasi dan studi kepustakaan. Wawancara dilakukan pada 4 (empat) orang informan mewakili Bagian Humas PKS baik di tingkat Provinsi DKI Jakarta dan DPC PKS tingkat Kecamatan Pulogadung.  Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pemanfaatan media Pemanfaatan Media Komunikasi terutama Media Sosial oleh Humas PKS antara lain yaitu PKS Foto, PKS TV, Relawan Digital, Relawan Literasi, PKS Art, dan pembuatan video pendek yang diiklankan. Faktor pendukung pemanfaatan media komunikasi yaitu SDM kader-kader PKS yang solid serta sumber dana yang mencukupi untuk menunjang pemanfaatan media komunikasi terutama media sosial dalam mengurangi stereotip negatif masyarakat terhadap PKS dan meningkatkan citra PKS DKI Jakarta.

Abstract

Abstract The COVID-19 pandemic has swept the world and changed the map of education. Higher education institutions have been forced to close and hold digital learning classes to cope with governmental regulations prohibiting face-to-face interactions. This includes STIAMI Institute of Social and Management Science branch Bekasi City. With a total of 2593 students, 130 lecturers, and 60 campus administration staffs, civitas academica of Institut STIAMI Bekasi have been inevitably learning and working from home since February 2020. Such change has caused challenges and opportunities. Hence, the following paper tries to dissect students', lecturers', and campus administrations' perspectives about digital learning and teaching. The method used in the research is qualitative with case study approach, incorporating in-depth interviews and observations. Based on the results, all parties perceived full digital learning and teaching as best decision to cut the pandemic chain, although found it as a challenge and have experienced mental health and technical problems, yet found positive outcomes that lead to education without boundaries. Thus, it is recommended to hold private and group consultations; interactive workshops; local-national-international cooperations to ensure digital learning and teaching in the long run becomes bearable, productive, and beneficial for everyone involved.

Abstract

Along with the development of information technology which is now increasingly rapid, thus changing the way humans human ways of conveying information. At present various information has used internet media as a supporting medium between humans and other humans. Following these developments, Pulokambing Archipelago United Creative House (RKBN) also utilizes by changing the promotion system and conventional community empowerment system using a website as a promotional medium in empowering the community to disseminate information about the Non Governmental Organization (NG) which aims to promote its products and services. By carrying out the Public Relations strategy in managing the website, This NGO hopes that there will be progress in terms of promotion and community empowerment. The purpose of this study is to determine the utilization and strategies used by Public Relations to increase the number of website visitors. The object in this study is the website www.pulokambing.com with a research approach using (IMC) Integrated Marketing Communication Theory, Qualitative case study methods, constructivist paradigms, while for data collection techniques using interviews, observation and documentation.The results of the study indicate that the use of the www.pulokambing.com website as a promotional medium in introducing products and services online. And improve the image of the NGO. In addition, community empowerment programs at Pulokambing RKBN such as the Unified KSPSS Cooperative in Pulokambing relatives, Pulokambing kinship farmers (PKPK), Waste Bank Management and Pulokambing Education Tourism strengthen the Website www.pulokambing.com.

Abstract

Learning communication and motivation of a teacher, student and student is one of the important components in the teaching and learning process. This skill development should be possessed by a teacher, student and student by involving various community activities with Communication Skill and Motivation.Carrying the theme "Communication, Motivation And Student Learning For Teachers, Students And Students". The aim is to train and equip skills and improve communication skills and effective motivation to improve the quality of human resources for teachers, students and students in West Cikarang, Bekasi Regency, West Java.Based on interviews, questions and answers and direct observations during the activity, community service activities give the following results: (1). Increased knowledge and understanding of participants in having effective communication and motivation skills, (2). Increased the skills of participants in building togetherness (Chemistry) inside or outside their duties as teachers, students and students.

Abstract

Garbage is a widespread issue throughout the world, particularly in Indonesia. The problem of waste, particularly in Indonesia as a developing country, requires more attention as the rate of population growth continues to rise. According to various media reports, Bantar Gate, the final waste disposal site, will be completely full and unable to accept any more waste within the next five years. Regulation No. 77 of the Governor of the Special Capital Region Jakarta concerns on waste management within the hamlet. Researchers are interested in conducting research on Communicative Actions at Sehati Selalu Waste Bank, Cakung District, East Jakarta, using Jurgen Habermas' Communicative Action Theory. The research method in this study used the Phenomenology of Edmund Husserl. Meanwhile, observation, interviews, and documentation are all methods for gathering data. Based on the researchers' data findings, data results, and discussions, it can be concluded that the communicative action to increase community participation carried out by the “Sehati Selalu” waste bank, Cakung district, East Jakarta, is to disseminate information to the community through supervisors in the urban village with the assistance of the participation of neighbourhood, hamlet, urban village head, and subdistrict head Management as community controllers offline. Offline communication actions are also carried out through social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram for environmental services Cakung.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has occurred in the world since 2020, not only in Indonesia but also in all countries in the world. The economic impact of the Covid-19 pandemic has been felt by the Indonesian people since the implementation of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) on March 15, 2020. Community activities are forced to be carried out through digital transformation in services, transactions and work, for example the Bandung City Government. This research was conducted to determine the Digital Communication Management of the Bandung City Government in an inclusive and sustainable Economic Recovery in Bandung City. The object of this research is the Bekasi City Government. This study uses the method of Phenomenology of Edmund Husserl. Having the concept of phenomenology as a scientific method that does not start with doubt, direction, and the truth of an experience. Data collection techniques in this study by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques in this study use data reduction, data display, and verification of Miles and Huberman. Based on the Data Findings, Data Results and Discussions that the researchers have submitted, it can be concluded that the Bandung City Government has implemented Digital Communication Management in helping inclusive and sustainable economic recovery by through digital platforms, it is more helpful for small entrepreneurs, especially the current focus on Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. One of them is Digital Transformation by continuing to encourage the implementation of smart cities through digital transformation in various aspects of public services.

Abstract

To overcome the COVID-19 pandemic, the Indonesian government decided to implement a regulation known as the Restrictions towards Community Activities (PPKM). Since its inception, PPKM has been extended fourteen times. Observing the trend, it is interesting to find out how higher education students and lecturers perceive the regulation after gaining information from varied mass communication channels. Therefore, this research is aimed to identify perceptions regarding PPKM among students and lecturers. It used qualitative research with a phenomenology approach, involving 104 STIAMI students and 26 lecturers based in Jakarta, Bekasi, and Depok. According to the results, more than a half of the students and lecturers found information to be sufficient from mass communication channels and decided to support the program if continued in the future. They are, however, urging the government to conduct significant changes that would ensure the social and economic lives of Indonesian citizens remain well.

Abstract

Digitalization media activities have been carried out in various daily lives. The impact of the Covid 19 pandemic has been felt by the community since the enactment of the PSBB on March 15, 2021. Community activities are forced to be carried out by digital transformation in services, transactions and work, for example the Depok City Government. This research was conducted to determine the Digital Communication Management of the Depok City Government in an inclusive and sustainable Economic Recovery. The object of this research is the Depok City Government. This study uses the method of Phenomenology of Edmund Husserl. Data collection techniques in this study by means of observation, interviews, and documentation. The research findings that the results of the data and discussion can be concluded that the Depok City Government has implemented a digital communication management process starting from planning, activities and evaluations in an Influential and Sustainable economic recovery in Depok. From Digital Communication Planning, the Depok City Government has tried to provide a lot of training, information to make Depok people know and care about the development of the city of Depok through the Depok City DPRD Instagram Platform.
