Abstract

This research started from curiosity about the role in developing the Tahfiz MAN 2 Kulon Progo curriculum during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to determine the extent of the development Tahfiz MAN 2 Kulon Progo curriculum during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method in this study is qualitative research, the subject of the research is several PAI teachers who also become tahfiz supervisors with data collection techniques using interviews and documentation. The results of this study are 1) the basis for curriculum development based on the mandatory tahfiz from the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia, namely creating high-intellectual Qur'an memorizers, 2) the basis for curriculum development based on the number of students who have embryos memorizing the Qur'an, 3) The basic curriculum development aims to explore the potential of students who have a good reading but do not yet have memorized the Qur'an, 4) the basis for curriculum development is to support religious understanding competence, and 5) the basis for curriculum development is to preserve religious scientific traditions. The conclusion of curriculum development is to create memorizers of the Qur'an, assist students in memorizing the Qur'an and assist students in making it easier to achieve the desired competencies.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the extent of the principal's strategy in changing the teacher's mindset to improve learning quality. The method used in this research is the interview and documentation method. In processing the research results using Atlas. ti 8 software, the steps are to process the data obtained and then provide a code, classify the code that has been obtained according to the same meaning, then combine several concepts that have the sense to get a new idea. The results of this study are the principal in changing the mindset of teachers by carrying out teacher training and implementing teacher competency development and teachers improving the quality of learning by using learning technology, learning media, and learning evaluation.

Abstract

The implementation of learning carried out by vocational school teachers during the Covid-19 pandemic has a complexity of problems. This study aims to determine the extent to which the strategies of SMK teachers in carrying out the learning process during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. Data collection techniques with interview and documentation methods. Data analysis was carried out with the help of Atlas.ti software version 8. The results of this study include 1) before carrying out learning the teacher implements a lesson plan by preparing a syllabus and learning implementation tools; 2) using various kinds of media used in carrying out learning, namely using videos and modules; 3) using technology that supports learning activities by utilizing the google classroom and whatsapp group applications; and 4) using student learning evaluation to determine the extent to which students master the material that has been given.
