Abstract

Peningkatan partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengelolaan potensi desa berbasis teknologi demi terwujudnya pembangunan desa berkelanjutan, merupakan tema dari program KKN-PPM di desa Belok Sidan. Melalui berapa program seperti: program kesehatan masyarakat: penyediaan air bersih melalui penerapan teknologi kincir air penggerak pompa, Penerapan metode gravitasi, penyuluhan sanitasi, penyuluhan pola hidup bersih dan sehat. Program lingkungan: penerapan teknologi sumur resapan dan biopori di pekarangan rumah, kegiatan penghijauan. Produksi kopi bubuk dengan penerapan teknologi pengering dan mesin pemecah kopi basah. Untuk mengatasi permasalahan masyarakat digunakan beberapa metode antara lain: metode penyuluhan, metode pendampingan, metode gotong royong, metode penerapan teknologi tepat guna, dan metode percontohan. Hasil pelaksanaan program: Sistem air bersih dengan metode pompa kincir sudah terealisasi. Dari hasil evaluasi debit pemompaan 0.4 liter perdetik cukup untuk melayani 20 kepala keluarga di tempekan Puncak Sari. Sistem air bersih metode gravitasi baru terlaksana pada tahap perencanaan hasil dari kegiatan ini berupa detail engineering desain. Kegiatan pola hidup bersih sehat sudah terlaksana dengan capaian 150 siswa Sekolah Dasar 2 Belok/Sidan. Kegiatan Biopori capaiannya adalah 50 peremajaan biopori dan 50 biopori baru. Kegiatan pelayanan kesehatan ternak capaiannya sekitar 100 ternak terlayani. Kegiatan penghijauan sekitar 1000 pohon telah didistribusikan kepada masyarakat. Kegiatan pendampingan usaha kopi bubuk capaiannya mesin pemecah kopi sudah beoperasi sesuai harapan yaitu putaran mesin 60 rpm, dan sistem pengering model rumah kaca. Kegiatan kebersihan lingkungan dibuatkan 5 buah keranjang sampah anorganik. Pembuatan logo koperasi Sumber Merta Buana sudah selesai.

Abstract

Luas wilayah Desa Bunutan adalah 3.057,33 Ha, terdiri dari 10 dusun diantaranya: Dusun Bunutan, Lean, Banyuning, Aas, Batukeseni, Kusambi, Bangle, Canguang, Sega dan Gulinten. Jumlah penduduk desa Bunutan sebanyak 12.581 jiwa, 6.327 laki-laki dan 6.254 jiwa perempuan. 1487 KK adalah KK miskin yang mayoritas tinggal di pegunungan. Permasalahan yang dihadapi antara lain: Pengetahuan masyarakat masih rendah, produktivitas masyarakat masih rendah, Administrasi LPD adat Gulinten belum tertata. Efisiensi biaya rendah, pengenalan teknologi gasifikasi masih terbatas. Fasilitas air bersih yang masih kurang, tingkat kesehatan masyarakat masih kurang. Mengatasi/pemecahan permasalahan masyarakat digunakan beberapa metode antara lain: Metode penyuluhan, pendampingan, Pelayanan, gotong royong, penerapan teknologi tepat guna, dan percontohan. Kegiatan yang dilaksanakan dalam program KKN-PPM antara lain: kegiatan dibidang pertanian, peternakan, pendidikan, kesehatan dan kewirausahaan. Hasil dari terlaksananya kegiatan program KKN-PPM berupa: Penerapan Teknologi Tepat Guna yaitu digester biogas kotoran sapi, Penerapan teknologi produksi kolang kaling, Terwujudnya sistem pompa dan transmisi serta distribusi air bersih. Terbentuknya kelompok kerja Amerta Semadi, Lebih tertatanya sistem administrasi LPD Desa Pekraman Gulinten, lebih tertata ruang baca di SD 6 Bunutan, Meningkatnya tingkat kesehatan masyarakat Gulinten, Dusun Gulinten yang lebih bersih dan indah.

Abstract

Pateh and Wates Kaja hamlets are located on the hillside slopes. 180 family heads mostly live fromagriculture. Unavailability of clean water in both villages, low public awareness on health and environmentalhygiene, low community productivity, waterfall Jaga Satru not yet organized and published as a touristattraction, the selling rate of salak Bali is low. Program achievements is, increasing public health withadequate clean water, cleanliness of the environment and counseling clean and healthy lifestyle. Increasepublic knowledge with the availability of reading books and the reading room facilities. Increasedcommunity productivity. Cost efficiency through assistance and introduction of hydram pump technology.Results of Activities is clean water system in Pateh hamlet with hydram pump method has been realized, theevaluation results show the amount of water that is compiled to the location of 43,200 liters / day. Everyperson needs water every day 80 liters / day then enough for 540 people or 108 families. Clean water systemgravity method in Wates Kaja hamlet has been done well and water distribution more evenly. Livestock health services achievement of 30 cattle. Reforestation of 100 coconut tree daksina has been done in thewaterfall environment. Publication activity Jaga Satru waterfall tour with balihoo method has been done andforeign tourist visits have increased by 100%. Environmental hygiene activities featuring 3 pieces of wastebins to collect inorganic waste. Making Master Plant tour waterfall keep 100% done.

Abstract

Kesimpar village located in the district Abang, regency of Karangasem. Consists of 2750 inhabitants, ofwhich 95 percent are farmers and ranchers. To meet the water needs from Andong water resources hascapacity 10 liters per second, with a walk takes 2-3 hours. From the initial survei and mapping of thesituation by the team, accompanied by community leaders, it is possible to build clean water sistems withapplication technologist hydram pump. Tim from Mechanical Engineering of Udayana University ready tohelp designing and assisting in building the sistem. The target of this service are: the establishment of waterservices, distribution evenly to every community with the appropriate discharge national standards. Resultingfrom the implementation of activities: Village Kesimpar clean water source that has the potential to be fullyutilized. It was decided to use hydram pump valve tap spherical models, the dimensions of the pump: pumpbody diameter 6 inch, 8 inch diameter of air tube, diameter/length drive pipe 6 inch/54 m. The execution ofthe planned sistem is evidenced by pumping beats period 40-44 perminute. Evaluation of the pumpingcapacity has reached capacity planning, one pump has a capacity of 0.9 - 1.0 liters/minute, and two pumpsare installed in parallel has a total capacity of 1.8 - 2.0 liters/min. Residents in the area Pura Bangun Saktisome 50 families had served with clean water.

Abstract

Dusun Jempanang terletak di Kecamatan Petang Kabupaten Badung. Jumlah penduduk Dusun Jempanang adalah 150 KK (750 jiwa), 95 % penduduknya bekerja sebagai petani dan peternak. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan akan air penduduk Dusun Jempanang saat ini mengambil dari sumber air Pucak Kangin yang memiliki debit 10 liter per detik yang baru dimanfaatkan 10 persennya. Dan posisi sumber air Pucak Kangin dengan dusun Jempanang sekitar 1500 m. Jadi air yang sampai di dusun Jempanang belum mencukupi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan seluruh masyarakat Jempanang. Masyarakat yang berada di kawasan pemukiman lebih tinggi belum tersentuh oleh air bersih. Di dusun Jempanang juga terdapat sumber air Puseh Kangin yang cukup besar, tetapi karena posisi sangat jauh di bawah dari posisi penduduk, maka sumber air ini sampai saat ini belum di manfaatkan. Oleh karena itu masyarakat mempunyai ide untuk memanfaatkan sumber air Puseh Kangin, tetapi kendala dalam penerapan teknologi yang sesuai. Dari survei awal dan pemetaan situasi diputuskan untuk menerapkan teknologi pompa torak yang digerakan oleh sebuah kincir air. Dari pengujian/evaluasi dilaksanakan pada ketinggian pemompaan 120 m dari pompa didapat debit pemompaan sebesar 0.014 liter/detik. Bila pompa bekerja 24 jam, maka volume air yang dipompa sehari sebanyak 1200 liter. Kebutuhan air penduduk pedesaan rata-rata 60 liter/orang/hari, jadi baru cukup untuk 20 orang (5 KK). Tetapi kalau hanya dipergunakan untuk keperluan konsumsi minum dan memasak maka cukup untuk 120 orang (25 KK). Jadi dapat mengatasi masalah air minum 20 KK yang bertempat tinggal di daerah Puncak.

Abstract

Fluidized Bed Combustion is the best technology for energy conversion of various fuel types such as biomass andwastes with low caloric content fuel. Biomass like rice husk has a great potentiality to develop as a fuel since the availability inIndonesia is abundant. This research aims to analyse gas emission from rice husk using fluidied bed combustion. Investigationwas conducted in a laboratory scale fluidized bed unit by varying operation temperature and gas fluidization. The results showthat emission gas of carbon monoxide and NOx at higher temperature of 600 0C was found lower compared to 500 0C at similarair velocity of 0.05 m/s.

Abstract

Abstrak:Perkembangan penelitian tentang proses pengolahan arak sampai saat ini sudah banyak mengalami kemajuan, terlihatdari hasil penelitian tentang energi alternatif berbahan dasar arak. Kemajuan yang dicapai sampai saat ini adalahkualitas arak sebesar 95%. Sudah memenuhi persyaratan sebagai bahan bakar alternativ. Metode yang dipakai dalamusaha mencapai tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: pertama metode perancangan yaitu merancang alat kondensasipaksa tipe aliran melintang. Kedua, metode eksperimental dengan melaksanakan pengujian pada berbagai variableoperasional seperti variabel laju aliran fluida pendingin yang berpengaruh terhadap laju produksi. Ketiga dilakukanpengujian terhadap unjuk kerja mesin dengan menggunakan arak bali sebagai bahan bakar. Semakin besar bilanganReynolds aliran fluida pendingin mengakibatkan laju pendinginan semakin besar, berpengaruh terhadap lajukondensasi semakin besar sehingga laju produksi semakin besar. Berbanding terbalik dengan kualitas produksi.Pengujian arak bali sebagai bahan bakar pada mesin tipe carburator menghasilkan peningkatan konsentrasi arak baliberpengaruh terhadap semakin besarnya tingkat konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik mesin, torsi mesin mengalamipenurunan dan daya mesin juga mengalami penurunan.Kata kunci: Konveksi paksa, arak, kapasitas, kualitas, bahan bakar, unjuk kerjaAbstract:The development of research on the processing of wine it's been a lot of progress, seen from the results of research onalternative energy from the basic ingredients of beer. The progress made today is the quality of the wine production hasabove 95%. So qualify as a fuel. The methods used in order to achieve the objectives of this study are: The first methodof designing is designing and making scientific instruments forced condensation transverse flow type. Second theexperimental method to carry out testing on a variety of operational variables such as the cooling fluid flow ratevariables that affect the rate of production. A third test on the performance of the engine by using fuel arak bali. Thegreater the Reynold Number of fluid flow rate results in greater cooling rate, affect the rate of condensation gettingbigger so that the rate of production increases. But inversely proportional to the quality of production. Arak bali fortesting as a fuel on the machine type carburator, increased concentration of arak bali affect the specific fuelconsumption of engine is increasing, torque of engine is decreasing and power of engine is decreasing.Keywords: Forced convection, wine, capacity, quality, fuel, Performance

Abstract

The progress of developing science and technology are really influence to human life. Expansion of automotive astransportation and machine mover, can help human to do their activities easily. To get the machines move, is need much offuel from petroleum stock. But the stock of petroleum in world every day is very diminish and its unrenewable. Toanticipation and solve the problem about ability and dependence of society to use the fuel, is used gasses fuel such asliquified petroleum gas (LPG). The complete combustion are influence by three reason they are Air Fuel Ratio (AFR),homogeneity of mixture, and temperature of combustion. The complete combustion can be seen from content of exhaustemission. From the reason, researcher was did the research to know the influence of AFR toward the exhaust emission ofLPG fueled in the combustion chamber of Helle-Shaw Cell model.This experiment was did in the combustion chamber of Helle-Shaw Cell model with varieted the Air Fuel Ratio(AFR). The ratio is take from 14:1, 15:1, 16:1, 17:1, 18:1, 19:1, 20:1, and 21:1. The data that was observed are percentagesof carbon monoxide (CO), carbon dioxide (CO2), oxygen (O2) and hydrocarbon (HC).From result the research was get that the increasing of AFR from 14:1 to 20:1, the percentages of CO, O2, and HCare decrease but the percentages of CO2 is increase and in AFR 21:1 is occur decrease of CO2, while the percentage othergases are increase. To the LPG fuel stoichiometry of AFR is occur in 20:1. In stoichiometry of AFR the exhaust emission ofCO, O2, and HC are the most minimum but CO2 is the most maximum.

Abstract

Wire and Tube heat exchanger consists of coiled tube, and wire attached on the both sides of tube in perpendicular direction on the tube. The ability of this heat exchanger to dissipate heat is shown by the overall surface efficiency from arrays of fins or called as heat exchanger efficiency. The wires which have a function as a fin is the expansion of the outer surface of tube, so its will extent the surfaces of natural convection heat transfer from heat exchanger to the outside surroundings. The goals of this research is to analyse the wire and tube heat exchangers efficiency by increasing the number of wires that would be attached on one side and both side of the tubes. There are three different design of wire and tube heat exchangers and that’s would be examined at three different level of mass flow rate ( 0.015 kg/s, 0.018kg/s and 0.021 kg/s). The fluid temperature entrance the system constant at 70oC. According to the theoretic, surfaces expansion of natural convection heat transfer will be increase the efficiency of heat exchangers. One of anyway how to extend the surface area of heat transfer is adds the wires. Increasing the number of wires expected influence the heat transfer rates, and it’s directly related to the efficiency of heat exchangers.

Abstract

AbstrakMeningkatnya kendaraan bermotor membutuhkan unjuk kerja yang maksimum dan dengankonsumsi bahan bakar yang hemat pada mesin bertipe injeksi. Dalam upaya untukmeningkatkan unjuk kerja dilakukan dengan berbagai cara salah satunya dengan memanaskanbahan bakar. Pengujian dilakukan pada mesin bensin bertipe injeksi dalam keadaan standarddan memberikan treatment tanpa pemanasan dan dengan pemanasan bahan bakar danmemvariasikan putaran mesin pada 1500 rpm, 2500 rpm, dan 5000 rpm serta memvariasikantransmisi pada transmisi 1, 2, 3, 4, dan 5. Dengan memberikan treatment pemanasan bahanbakar, unjuk kerja mesin yaitu torsi dan daya meningkat, sedangkan laju konsumsi bahanbakar dan konsumsi bahan bakar spesifik menurun dibandingkan tanpa pemanasan bahanbakar.Kata kunci: Treatment pemanasan, unjuk kerja mesinAbstractIncrease in the number of vehicles requires a maximum performance and efficient fuelconsumption in the injection-type engine. In order to improve its performance, various wayswere undertaken, one of them is by heating the fuel. Tests performed on injection-type gasolineengine in the state standards and provide treatment with and without heating of fuel. Enginespeds were varied at 1500 rpm, 2500 rpm and 5000 rpm and variation of transmission was on1, 2, 3, 4, and 5. By giving of fuel heating treatment, the performance of the engine torque andpower increased, while the rate of fuel consumption and specific fuel consumption decreasedcompared to with no heating fuel treatment.Keywords: Treatment heating, engine performance
