Abstract

Salah satu tumbuhan yang berklorofil dan tumbuhnya berupa thalus adalah makroalga, alga mampu hidup pada perairan, dan meiliki pertumbuhan yang sangat cepat dengan berfotosintetis. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui kandungan pigmen alga Caulerpa sp di kepulauan Kei. Metode penelitian pigmen alga dengan metode kolom kromotografi . hasil yang diperoleh untuk memisahkan pigmen klorofil pada alga Caulerpa sp dengan menggunakan kromotografi kolom adalah b-karoten, xantofil, karatenoin, klorofil a dan klorofil b.

Abstract

Bioplastik adalah plastik yang dapat digunakan seperti plastik konvensional lainnya namun memilki keunggulan cepat terurai atau hancur oleh mikroorganisme menjadi air dan gas karbondioksida ketika habis dipergunakan dan dibuang ke lingkungan tanpa meninggalkan zat beracun. Bioplastik ini secara global sudah dikenal dan telah dikembangkan termasuk di Indonesia dan dikenal dengan plastic biodegradable. Rumput laut salah yang dapat  dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan baku dalam industri pangan, farmasi, kosmetik dan bioteknologi. Karaginan dari rumput laut dapat digunakan untuk memproduksi bioplastik. Tujuan dari penelitian ini menganalisis kualitas  bioplastic dan pengaruh variasi konsetrasi asam asetat terhadap bioplastic alga Caulerpa sp. Metode dalam penelitian eksperimental meliputi tiga tahapan yakni preparasi sampel, ekstraksi rumput laut dan pembuatan bioplastik. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan variasi asam asetat terbaik  adalah konsetrasi 1% asam asetat memberikan pengaruh terhadap pembentukan bioplastik.

Abstract

Local food management based on innovation made from ((Manihot esculenta Crantz) enbal and seaweed carried out as community service (PKM) by the STIA Darul Rachman Tual Research and Community Service Institute (LP2M). The purpose of PKM is to improve the ability to manage casava toxi or enbal (local name ) and seaweed as local food that has innovative value located in Ohoitel Village, North Dullah Island District, Tual City and growing lung business after pandemi covid-19. The method used is an innovation-based local food management training made from ((Manihot esculenta Crantz) (enbal) and seaweed as local food for the Kei Islands. The results obtained are in the form of innovative products as foods that have high culinary value and are nutritious and healthy without preservatives, namely seaweed chips, casava toxi or enbal chookies and seaweed noodles. The hope from this training is that food products have advantages and competitiveness and create new businesses in the field of local food based on innovation as an added value economically. Abstrak Pengelolaan pangan lokal berbasis inovasi berbahan enbal ((Manihot esculenta Crantz) dan rumput laut yang dilaksanakan sebagai pengabdian kepada masyarakat (PKM) oleh Lembaga Penelitian dan Pengabdian Kepada Masyarakat (LP2M) STIA Darul Rachman Tual. Tujuan PKM adalah meningkatkan kemampuan penggelolaan enbal dan rumput laut sebagai pangan local yang memilki nilai inovatif yang berlokasi didesa Ohoitel Kecamatan Pulau Dullah Utara Kota Tual dan menumbuhkan usaha baru pasca pandemic covid-19. Metode yang digunakan adalah Pelatihan penggelolaan pangan local berbasis inovasi berbahan dasar enbal dan rumput laut sebagai pangan local kepulauan Kei. Hasil yang diperoleh berupa produk inovasi sebagai makanan yang memilki nilai usaha kuliner yang tinggi dan bergizi serta sehat tanpa pengawet yakni chips lumput laut, chookies enbal ((Manihot esculenta Crantz) dan mie rumput laut. Harapan dari pelatihan ini produk pangan yang memiliki keunggulan dan daya saing serta menciptakan usaha-usaha baru dalam bidang pangan local berbasis inovasi sebagai nilai tambah secara ekonomis.

Abstract

Utilization of local food waste as an innovation in diversifying quality fish feed products in producing superior seeds. The study aimed to determine the nutritional content of local food waste. The research was carried out for 2 months,. The pr,imate analysis method (AOAC, 2005) and the results are presented in table and descriptive form. The research was conducted in two stages, namely 1). Local food waste sampling stage and 2) proximate analysis stage. The results obtained are proximate coconut cake which includes protein content: 7.29%, fat: 38.76%, water content: 3.05%, ash content: 22.247% and crude fiber: 24.29%. The proximate content of cassava leaves includes: protein content: 22.53%, fat: 5.05%, water content: 5.1%, ash content: 22.75%, and crude fiber: 33.46%, nutritional content of Moringa leaves among others: protein content: 25.66%, fat: 2.54%, water content: 7.4%, ash content: 22.247%, and crude fiber: 30.01%. The results show that local food staples still have a high enough nutritional content so that they can be used as raw materials for fish feed.

Abstract

Sea grape cultivation (Caulerpa sp) is a fishery business activity that can increase the income of coastal communities; therefore, it is necessary to project profit and business opportunities in the future on an ongoing basis based on the profitability. This study aims to analyze the financial feasibility of sea grape (Caulerpa sp) cultivation with basic plugging system quadrant net method. This study used survey research methods, the type of data needed is primary and secondary data, data collection used a purposive sampling technique, and data collection used a triangulation method. Data analysis consists of total production costs, revenue, profit, break-even point and R/C ratio. The results of the financial analysis of the sea grape cultivation business (Caulerpa sp) using the quadrant net step-by-step system method show that the total production cost is IDR 3,368,333/year, business revenue is IDR 12,600,000/year, the business owner's profit is IDR 9,231,667/year, R/C ratio is 3.74, BEP (unit) is 21 kg and BEP (sales) is IDR 317,106. Sea grape cultivation (Caulerpa sp) with basic plugging system quadrant net method is financially feasible to be developed in order to increase in the people income in the coastal areas of Southeast Maluku Regency.
