Abstract

Bali Dental Clinic 911 is Dental and Oral Health Service which located in Denpasar. The kind of service in the Clinic, include; preventive, kurative, and rehabilitave in dental health, for Indeonesian and foreigns.The data shows that patients visiting in 2016 are 5,043, in 2017 are 5,830, and in 2018 are 6,350, majority patients from Austria. The goals of this research is to know the descriptive of satisfaction of foreigns tourism toward dental and oral services in Bali Dental Clinic 911 in 2020. This is a descriptive research with survey. The respondents in this research were all foreigns tourism who were visit Bali Dental Clinic 911 Denpasar in March 2020, with the total number of respondents are 50.The result of this research shows that: reliability demention with very satisfaction (91,5%), Responsiveness demention with very satisfaction (87,3%), assurance demention with very satisfaction (92%), Emphaty demention with very satisfaction (90%), tangibles demention with very satisfaction (85%). The conclussion of this research shows that majority foreigns tourism who were visit Bali Dental Clinic 911 Denpasar in March 2020 got very satisfaction services in dental and oral health

Abstract

 Dental and oral health problems in the school age group are an important concern in the development of dental and oral health because children are a group that is vulnerable to dental and oral diseases. Efforts to educate about the maintenance of dental and oral health to target school children are the first priority. The purpose of this study was to determine differences in the level of knowledge of dental and oral health maintenance through outreach with posters and videos media which was carried out online to students of SDN 2 Kaliakah, Negara Subdistrict in 2022. The research was a pre-experimental one group pretest and posttest design. The type of data used is secondary data. The results showed the percentage level of knowledge before counseling with the most poster media with less criteria was 36.67% and increased to very good criteria 86.67%. The most video media with sufficient criteria is 40%, and after counseling all students have very good criteria 100%. The average level of knowledge with poster media is 53 (less), after counseling it becomes 89.17 (very good), while before counseling with video media 59.17 (less) it increases after counseling to 93.83 (very good). The Mann-Whitney analysis test showed a significant difference in the level of knowledge through counseling with video and poster media with a significance value of p 0.05. In conclusion, the level of knowledge of respondents using video media is higher than using posters.

Abstract

Dental health is an integral part of general health. Dental and oral hygiene is a condition or state where the tooth are free from plaque and calculus. Smokers tend to have more plaque and tartar which results in gingivitis and is susceptible to infection. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between smoking and oral hygiene in adolescents at Banjar Tunjuk Tengah Tabanan in 2019. This research was an analytical study with a cross-sectional design. The teenage population is 38 people. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the chi-square statistical test. The results of the study were based on the chi-square statistical test that there was no relationship between smoking duration and oral hygiene  p-value = 0.122. There is a relationship between the number of cigarettes smoked per day and oral hygiene p-value = 0.000. In conclusion there is no relationship between duration of smoking and dental and oral hygiene and there is a relationship between the number of cigarettes smoked per day and oral hygiene.

Abstract

Patient satisfaction is the patient's response to the suitability of the level of interest or patient expectations before they receive dental and oral health services with after the dental and oral health services they receive. The purpose of this study was to determine the level of patient satisfaction with dental and oral health services in the independent practice of dental and oral therapists in Peguyangan Village, North Denpasar District. The method in this research is descriptive survey method, the number of respondents is 30 people. The results of 30 respondents indicated the tangibles dimension, all of the sub dimensions obtained the criteria of very satisfied as much as 83%, from the dimension of reliability showed that all of the sub dimensions obtained the criteria of very satisfaction as much as 73%, from the responsiveness dimension indicated that all of its sub dimensions obtained the criteria of very satisfaction as much as 77%, from the assurance dimension showed that all of its sub dimensions obtained the criteria of very satisfaction, the dental and oral therapist sub staff were skilled in carrying out their duties as well as polite and friendly sub-services obtaining the criteria of very satisfied as much as 80%, and from the empathy dimension it showed that all sub dimensions obtained very satisfied criteria of 60%. From the results of the study it can be concluded that all dimensions of satisfaction, including tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy are considered very satisfied with the services received.
