Abstract

Coffee is cultivated by farmers in Wologai Village in the middle of Detusoko District, Ende Regency. Coffee plants are getting old and cannot be distributed. Agro-climate conditions are suitable for coffee plants, but coffee production is still very low. This activity aims to provide assistance to coffee farmers, with the hope that there will be an increase in the knowledge and skills of coffee farmers for the types of coffee plants, coffee plantations and coffee plantation management techniques. The target of activities in the farmer group consisting of 29 people, the activities carried out during 6 meetings, with counseling and training methods. The results of the evaluation of this service activity can increase the knowledge and skills of farmers in the aspect of agroecosystems or the environment for growing coffee plants by an average of 41.38% and farmers' knowledge regarding aspects of coffee plants increased by an average of 25.86%. ---  Kopi banyak diusahakan petani di Desa Wologai tengah Kecamatan Detusoko Kabupaten Ende. Tanaman kopi sudah berumur tua dan dibudidayakan menyebar atau tidak pada satu lahan. Kondisi Agroklimat sudah sesuai untuk tanaman kopi, namun produksi kopi masih sangat rendah. Kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk melakukan pendampingan terhadap petani kopi, dengan harapan terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan petani kopi terhadap terhadap Jenis tanaman kopi, agroekosistem tanaman kopi dan teknik pengelolaan kebun kopi. Sasaran kegiatan pada kelompok tani yang beranggotakan 29 orang, kegiatan dilakukan selama 6 kali pertemuan, dengan metode penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Hasil dari evaluasi kegiatan pengabdian ini dapat meningkatan pengetahuan dan ketrampilan petani dalam aspek Agroekosistem atau lingkungan tumbuh tanaman kopi rata-rata sebesar 41,38% dan pengetahuan petani terkait aspek tanaman kopi meningkat rata-rata sebesar 25,86%.

Abstract

Abstrak: Permasalahan utama mitra adalah petani belum memahami pentingnya manajemen dan kreativitas dalam kegiatan usahatani dan cara menumbuhkannya. Kegiatan ini bertujuan meningkatkan pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani terhadap manajemen usahatani dan menumbuhkan kreativitas dalam kegiatan usahatani, serta menyusun rencana anggaran pembiayaan dan pendapatan dalam usahatani kakao. Mitra PkM adalah Kelompok Tani Moko Modhe yang berjumlah 19 orang. Metode yang digunakan adalah penyuluhan dan pelatihan. Evaluasi dilakukan melalui test awal dan test akhir untuk melihat kemampuan dasar peserta dan gambaran daya serap peserta. Kegiatan ini berkontribusi pada meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani tentang manajemen usahatani kakao, pentingnya kreativitas dalam kegiatan usahatani serta pengetahuan dan keterampilan dalam menyususn anggaran pembiayaan dan pendapatan dalam usahatani kakao. Hal ini diketahui dari meningkatnya nilai persentase kemampuan dasar peserta sebesar 13%. Dengan demikian PkM yang dilaksanakan telah berdampak positif pada meningkatnya pengetahuan dan keterampilan petani sehingga mewujudkan masyarakat sejahtera dan terwujudnya visi Pemerintahan Desa Ondorea Barat. Abstract: The main problem with partners is that farmers do not understand the importance of management and creativity in farming activities and how to grow them. This activity aims to improve the knowledge and skills of farmers on farm management and foster creativity in farming activities, as well as to prepare a budget plan for financing and income in cocoa farming. PkM partners are the Moko Modhe Farmers Group, which consists of 19 people. The method used is counseling and training. Evaluation is carried out through a preliminary test and a final test to see the basic abilities of the participants and an overview of the absorption capacity of the participants. This activity contributes to increasing farmers' knowledge and skills about cocoa farming management, the importance of creativity in farming activities as well as knowledge and skills in preparing budgets for financing and income in cocoa farming. This is known from the increase in the percentage value of the basic ability of participants by 13%. Thus the PkM implemented has had a positive impact on increasing the knowledge and skills of farmers so as to create a prosperous society and the realization of the vision of the West Ondorea Village Government.

Abstract

ABSTRAKMayarakat Kelurahan Kota Raja biasanya membuang sampah anorganik (75%) atau dibakar (25%), padahal dapat memberikan nilai tambah secara ekonomis dengan menabung sampah yang dapat ditukarkan dengan uang, pulsa, dan pulsa listrik, serta dapat memberikan manfaat untuk dibuat berbagai jenis tas. Tujuan pengabdian ini untuk memberikan sosialisasi dan edukasi pengelolaan sampah anorganik serta pelatihan pemanfaatan sampah menjadi bahan yang bermanfaat dan bernilai ekonomis menjadi tas. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian menunjukkan bahwa 90% peserta merasa senang mengikuti seluruh kegiatan dan mendapatkan wawasan baru dalam pemanfaatan sampah anorganik menjadi produk berbagai tas yang memiliki manfaat dan nilai ekonomis. Terutama pada kondisi pandemik covid 19 Peserta dan Mitra memiliki peluang menambah   penghasilan   dengan   membuat tas dengan menggunakan bahan sampah anorganik. Peserta menunjukkan kesungguhan melakukan praktik membuat tas dan bersedia untuk terus melanjutkan kegiatan pemanfaatan sampah anorganik sehingga memiliki nilai tambah dan nilai manfaat Kata Kunci: pemanfaatan; sampah; anorganik; tas; kreatif. ABSTRACTThe people of Kota Raja Village usually dispose of inorganic waste (75%) or burn it (25%), even though it can provide added value economically by saving waste that can be exchanged for money, credit, and electric credit, and can provide benefits for making various types of bags. . The purpose of this service is to provide socialization and education on inorganic waste management as well as training on the use of waste into useful and economically valuable materials into bags. The results of the service activities showed that 90% of participants were happy to participate in all activities and gained new insights in the utilization of inorganic waste into various bags that have benefits and economic value. Especially during the COVID-19 pandemic, Participants and Partners have the opportunity to increase their income by making bags using inorganic waste materials. Participants showed their seriousness in carrying out the practice of making bags and were willing to continue the activities of utilizing inorganic waste so that it has added value and benefit value Keywords: utilization; garbage; inorganic; bag; creative.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of doses of coconut water on the growth and yield of land water spinach. The use of doses of coconut water as a treatment tested consists of K0 = Control; K1 = 56.68 liters / ha; K2 = 113.37 liters / ha; K3 = 170.05 liters / ha; K4 = 226.74 liters / ha. The results of the study addressed the use of 226.74 liters / ha of coconut water doses which had a very significant effect on all observation variables. Where an increase in the dose of coconut water affects the increase in the average percentage of plant height of 5.27%, the number of leaves is 4.58%, the fresh weight of ground water spinach per plant is 0.26% and the weight of land spinach per hectare is 0.26%

Abstract

Use of Natural Auksin as Growth Zat (ZPT) Against Growth of Stam Breeding Water Jamboo (Syszygium samarangense).This study aims to determine the effect of the use of auksin extract of onion, garlic extract and onion extract as well as the effect of the best extract on the growth of water cashew cuttings (Syzygium samarangense)The study was arranged by Randomized Block Design with single factor pattern consisting of four treatments ie without auxin (A-0), auksin extract of onion (A-1), auksin garlic extract (A-2) and auksin garlic extract bombai (A-3). The observation variables in this study were: percentage of live cuttings (%), root length (cm), root quantity, fresh root weight (g), fresh weight weight (g), dry root weight (g) and dry weight weight (g)The results showed the use of axin onion extract 90%, can increase the percentage of live cuttings (2.99%), root length (51.22%); number of roots (56.55%), fresh root weight (47.54%); weight of fresh stover (26.22%); dry root weight (51.72%) and weight of dry stover (27.64%). The use of 90% onion extract gave the best influence to the growth of root cashew cuttings which resulted in live cuttings percentage (98.86%); root length (10.04 cm); number of roots (19,20); fresh root weight (2.02 g); fresh fresh weight (17.22 g); dry weight of roots (1.06 g) and weight of dry stover (8.60 g).

Abstract

The study was intended to determine the growth response of the pepper plant steak due to an extended 3 hours of Tauge extracting with a concentration of 300 ml/l. The design used in this study is a completely random design with a single factory based pattern of P1 (1 hour), P2 (2 hours), P3 (3 hours), P4 (4 hours), P5 (5 hours). Variable observations in this study are the number of shoots (strands), length of shoots (cm2), number of leaves (strands), amount of roots (cm2), length of roots (cm2), fresh shoots (gram), shoots dry weights (gram), root fresh weights (gram), root dry weights (gram), root dry weights (gram). Studies indicate that extended snorting time of pepper on and Tauge extracting gives very real influence to the growth variable of sprouts (50,66%), root length (32,96%), leaves (58,88%), root length (45,14%), root weight (57,72%), shoots (71,43%), shoots dry weight (65,73%). Thus the treatment of Tauge extracts as one of the natural growth regulator plants in seeding with a concentration of 300 m/l water would be best submerged for 3 hours to speed up the growth and remove the roots to achieve the best quality of the steed growth.

Abstract

Research on Application of Liquid Organic Fertilizer from Market Waste in Chinese Mustard Plants (Brasica juncea L.). The production of mustard greens in Ende Regency is still low compared to the production of mustard greens. This condition is caused by fertilization that has not been optimal. Efforts to increase mustard production through the application of technology, especially the use of fertilizers, including using liquid organic fertilizer Market waste that can provide nutrients for plants.This study aims to determine the application dose of liquid organic fertilizer from market waste and the response of growth and yield of mustard plants. The study was conducted in the experimental garden of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Flores in Ende, using a Randomized Block Design consisting of five treatments using Liquid organic fertilizer (POC) from Market Waste namely L0 (without POC), L1 (10 liters of POC), L2 (20 liters POC), L3 (30 liters of POC), L4 (40 liters of POC), repeated four times. The results showed that the application of POC from market waste significantly affected plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight of mustard greens, fresh weight of mustard ha-1 and dose of 40 liters ha-1 showed the best growth, which was an average plant height of 24.68 cm, number of leaves 9.25 strands, fresh weight of mustard 147.40 g and production of mustard 23.58 tons ha-1

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of NPK Mutiara fertilizer dose on the growth and yield of green beans and determine the optimum dosage of NPK Mutiara fertilizer that can deliver growth and yield optimal green beans. The design used in this study is a randomized block design with treatments used were N0 (without fertilizer NPK NPK 0 kg ha-1 or 0 g plot-1), N1 (NPK fertilizer 125 kg ha-1 or 25 g plot-1), N2 (NPK fertilizer 250 kg ha-1 or 50 g plot-1), N3 (NPK fertilizer 375 kg ha-1 or 75 g), N4 (NPK 500 kg ha-1 or 100 g plot-1). Variable observation in this study was plant height, number of leaves, leaf area, number of pods tan-1 fresh weight stover tan-1, the dry weight of stover tan-1, the dry weight of stover ha-1 dry weight of seed tan-1, heavy ha-1 dry beans, dry weight of 100 seeds. The results showed that treatment of NPK fertilizer dose of 500 kg ha-1 very significant effect on plant height of 27.75 cm, leaf number 8 strands, leaf area 357.78 cm2, Total pods 19.65, fresh weight stover tan-1 96, 25 g, dry weight of stover tan-1 76.00 g, stover dry weight ha-1 19.00 tons, dry weight of seed tan-1 5.36-gram dry weight seed ha-1 1.34 tonnes, the weight of 100 seeds 2.62 gr.

Abstract

This study aims at revealing the impact of plant media on the growth and yield of white oyster mushroom (Pleurotusflorida) and finding out what plant media that can give the optimal growth and yield. The design uses in this study was random block design with the treatment of Mbayam (Bayam wood powder), Mmeranti (Meranti wood powder), Mkemiri (Hazelnut wood powder), Mjerami (straw). The observation variables used in this study were the prime emergence of the fruit, the number of fruit clumps, number of fruits per clump, harvesting age, the diameter of fruit, the length of fruit stalk, harvesting interval, the weight of the fruit, and REB value. The result of the study indicated that straw planting media was not able to grow mushroom and was contaminated. Planting media of bayam wood powder with Meranti wood powder, Bayam wood powder with hazelnut wood powder, and Bayam wood powder with straw makes a difference respectively, as follows: the primary emergence of fruit was 54:58 HST, 54:57 HST, and 54:0 HST, the number of fruit clumps were18,1%, 28,8%, and 100%, the number of fruit per clump were 4,0%, 13,9%, and 100%, and harvesting age were 4,1:4,9, 4,1:4,1, and 4,1:0. Planting media of Bayam wood powder provided the high average in the primary emergence of the fruit of 54 HST, 118.7 of fruit clumps, 15.1 of fruit/clump,6cm of fruit diameter, 2.9cm length of fruit stalk, 6.6 days of harvesting interval, 68.9gram of fruit weight and 0.68 of REB value.

Abstract

This research aims to find the effect of planting distance on the growth and yield of corn plants which were planted with peanut as intercropping plant, and the impact on the yield of peanuts planted as an intercropping plant as well as to know planting distance for corn and peanut. The experimental design used was randomized Block Design with six treatments namely J1; 55 cm x 40 cm, J2; 60 cm x 40 cm, J3; 65 cm x 40 cm, J4; 70 cm x 40 cm, J5; 75 cm x 40 cm, and J6; 80 cm x 40 cm, while peanuts are planted in the central part of the line, and the corns rows are repeated four times so that there are 24 compartments of research. Results of the study indicated that there is a significant effect on the growth and yield of corn at a distance of 75 cm x 40 cm as well as peanuts planted as an intercropping plant with high corn sidelines range from 32,08 – 132,55 cm, a number of leaves revolve around 4.17 – 9.25 strands, leaf area range from 25,84 – 52.80 cm, corncob diameter of 10.09 cm, corncob weight tan-1 171,33 gram ha-1 5,68 ton, dry weight grain of corn tan-1 80,13 grand ha-1 3,80 ton, as well as the weight of 100 grain of corn is 32,17 gram, whereas number of pods of peanut is 26,63 prolong, pods weight tan-1 88,13 grand ha-1 3,17 ton, dry weight of corn tan-1 31,25 grand ha-1 1,31 ton, and weight of 100 corn grains are 19,22 gram.
