Abstract

Visi SMA Negeri 3 Kayu Agung adalah “Menjadi Sekolah Sehat Berwawasan Lingkungan, Relegius, Cerdas, Berbudaya Literasi, dan Berdaya Saing Global Berdasarkan Budaya Bangsa”. Demi tercapainya Visi dan Misinya, SMA Negeri 3 Kayu Agung berkerja sama dengan berbagai organisasi baik yang bergerak di bidang pendidikan dan industri dalam memberikan pelatihan salah satunya berkerja sama dengan Universitas Multi Data Palembang dengan mengundang tim dosen untuk memberikan pelatihan kepada para guru, tenaga kependidikan dan pustakawan. Tim dosen Universitas Multi Data Palembang diundang untuk memberikan materi pelatihan terkait dengan pelatihan terkait dengan Digitalisasi Perpustakaan dengan menggunakan aplikasi SLiMS (Senayan Library Management System) pada guru, tenaga kependidikan dan pustakawan. Kegiatan pelatihan ini bertujuan untuk membantu SMA Negeri 3 Kayu Agung dalam mengimplementasikan digitalisasi perpustakaan, yang mempermudah perpustakaan untuk mengontrol semua kegiatan yang terjadi, seperti pendataan buku, anggota, peminjaman, dan pengembalian buku. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini telah terlaksana dengan baik dan bermanfaat bagi SMA Negeri 3 Kayu Agung dalam mengimplementasikan digitalisasi perpustakaan. Selain itu, kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini disambut baik oleh Kepala Sekolah, Wakil Kepala Sekolah, guru – guru, tenaga kependidikan, dan pustakawan di SMA Negeri 3 Kayuagung.

Abstract

The Application must be can accessible for twenty-four hours a day by its users, the proper implementation and difference of databases is very important to support the connections from hundreds of thousands of users. More and more complaints from users that appear to performance, and as well as increase of the number of visits to the database applications that used MySQL and PostgreSQL to components Queries Performed: Read, Write and0 Transaction, Per-request Statistics: Average and Threads Fairness: Execution Time. In that three components is doing the test for determine which one is the best between the using of MySQL and PostgreSQL databases as well as giving the best solution in election databases which is different test components is results. This research is uses the indenpendent sample t-test calculation formula using two computers, the database used has the same size, to find out whether the differences from the result of the two databases. The result of the research is explained that MySQL is the best results compare with PostgreSQL by using indenpendent sample t-test method as the best solution.

Abstract

Community service activities are carried out at SMK N 5Palembang. This training activity aims to improve the competence ofstakeholders in SMK N 5 Palembang, consisting of productive teachers,students and student councils. This activity is carried out by the pratikummethod and question and answer procession about troubleshooting andinstallation both in text mode and graphic mode. The benefits obtained ininstallation training using text mode are very light in operation and quite fastin the installation procession while by using graphic mode is using enoughprocessor and ram resources, thus reducing acceleration and installationspeed.

Abstract

Pengabdian masyarakat yang dilakukan di SMK Negeri 1 Palembang yaitu berupa pelatihan untuk membangun Server DNS. Pelatihan ini diikuti oleh siswa SMK sehingga siswa memiliki keterampilan dan pengetahuan terkait dengan server DNS. Pelatihan ini diawali dengan melakukan instalasi sistem operasi Linux Debian. Pelatihan ini dilakukan dengan cara praktikum dan tanya jawab. Dari pelatihan ini didapatkan pengetahuan bagaimana melakukan instalasi Linux Debian kemudian dapat membangun Server DNS.

Abstract

Kegiatan kepada masyarakat tentang Artificial Intelligence atau AI Dalam Hal Menggambar di Sekolah Maitreyawira adalah kegiatan mengajar yang dilakukan untuk memberikan pemahaman dasar kepada para siswa dan masa depan bangsa, agar dapat mengetahui apa itu AI dan cara mengimplementasikannya dengan contoh sederhana yaitu dalam hal menggambar. Kegiatan ini dibuat bertujuan untuk menjawab berbagai permasalahan terkait pekerjaan dan kehidupan manusia di masa depan yang nantinya berhubungan erat dengan AI. Melalui perlatihan ini, diharapkan para siswa dapat dengan mudah mengetahui apa dan manfaat dari penggunaan AI di kehidupan sehari -hari. Selain itu, dari kegiatan ini diharapkan para siswa dapat menggunakan kegiatan ini sebagai bekal untuk beradaptasi di lingkungan yang penuh dengan teknologi dan artificial intelligence di masa depan.

Abstract

The development of information technology has changed the landscape of communication and information access in various agencies. The increasing use of the internet as a tool for getting work done has triggered a surge in internet traffic, which has become a challenge for information technology infrastructure management. In the past, shared hosting technology was a common solution for providing web services, but with increasing complexity and the need for more scalable resources, this technology began to feel less relevant. Virtual Private Servers (VPS) emerged as a better and more efficient alternative to handle internet traffic spikes. Unlike shared hosting that divides resources among many users, VPS provides separately assigned resources for each use, including CPU, RAM, and storage. This ensures that each instance has guaranteed and scalable access to the resources they need. To maximize the use of VPS technology, aaPanel Navigation service is added as a tool that makes it easy to create services, maintain, and monitor server status. With the various features provided, server administration becomes more efficient and manageable. However, the use of aaPanel Navigation requires training for administrators in order to understand and utilize the existing functions optimally. Service development using VPS technology and aaPanel Navigation follows the Network Development Life Cycle (NDLC) method. The stages of analysis, design, simulation, implementation, monitoring, and management are carried out sequentially to ensure that the network infrastructure built can meet the needs of the agency properly and efficiently. As told above, the use of VPS technology and aaPanel Navigation as an alternative to overcome internet traffic spikes has brought a positive impact in improving the performance and efficiency of web or blog services at various agencies.

Abstract

The performance of a web page plays a crucial role in ensuring a smooth user experience and directly influences the success of digital services. This study aims to understand how a web service responds when subjected to varying traffic loads and to identify the technical factors that most significantly shape service quality. The main focus is to evaluate response time, system stability, and server resource utilization as demand gradually increases, both during peak traffic and lighter load conditions.The research applies an experimental approach using load-testing techniques with a cascading scenario, where a predefined number of HTTP requests is sent and measured at each stage. The observed variables include CPU and memory consumption, latency values (minimum, average, maximum, and standard deviation), response time, round trip time (RTT), and throughput measured through average and peak HTTP requests per second (RPS). Additionally, two user-experience indicators—Largest Contentful Paint (LCP) and Page Load Time—are analyzed to understand their relationship with perceived speed and potential changes in bounce rate. The findings show notable improvements after optimization was applied. The server’s TTFB decreased significantly from 300–399 ms to 239–247 ms. Network RTT also improved, dropping from 64 ms to between 6 and 40 ms. Overall latency declined by about 6–7% from the initial range of 757–759 ms. Even under a test scenario involving 20 virtual users and 1,200 total requests, CPU and memory usage remained stable, while peak load decreased to about 49–50% based on p95 and p99 metrics. These results indicate that implementing Memcache and MySQLTuner contributes substantially to improving application responsiveness and enhancing users’ perception of system performance.

Abstract

Hemodialysis services for patients with chronic kidney disease require appropriate decision-making, especially in determining patient priorities when healthcare resources are limited. Subjective decision-making may lead to inaccuracies and potential inequality in healthcare services. Therefore, an information technology–based approach is needed to support a more objective and structured decision-making process. This study aims to implement the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in a Decision Support System to determine the priority of hemodialysis patients. The study used sample data from five patients with five evaluation criteria, namely patient age, blood pressure, creatinine level, duration of kidney failure, and frequency of hemodialysis treatment. The analysis process includes the construction of a decision matrix, normalization of criteria values based on benefit and cost attributes, and calculation of preference values using weighted criteria. The results show that the SAW method can generate a clear priority ranking of patients. Based on the calculation results, patient A3 obtained the highest preference value of 0.92, followed by patient A1 with 0.88 and patient A5 with 0.87, indicating a higher urgency for receiving hemodialysis services. The implementation of this approach contributes to the development of health information technology, particularly in supporting more objective and transparent decision-making in hemodialysis patient management.

Abstract

Data availability and security are crucial aspects of information technology infrastructure management, especially in virtualization-based server environments. Proxmox Virtual Environment (Proxmox VE), as an open-source virtualization platform, provides Virtual Machine (VM) image backup features that can be used to improve system reliability. However, the implementation of scheduled backups integrated with external storage media has not been widely studied, particularly from the perspective of operational processes and system management. This study aims to describe the implementation of VM image backup on Proxmox VE using the scheduled backup feature combined with the Samba protocol as storage media on a separate server. This study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with the PPDIOO (Prepare, Plan, Design, Implement, Operate, Optimize) methodology as the research framework. Data were collected through system observation, configuration documentation, and analysis of backup operational  processes. System testing was carried out through SMB/CIFS storage access testing, scheduled backup execution testing on selected VMs, Proxmox VE log verification, and inspection of backup files stored on Samba storage. The implementation results show that Samba storage was successfully integrated with Proxmox VE and that the VM image backup process could run automatically according to the configured schedule, with backup files successfully stored on the target media and recorded in the system logs. This implementation improves backup storage reliability, minimizes the risk of data loss, and simplifies backup server management. This study is expected to provide a practical reference for implementing Proxmox VE-based backup servers for system administrators and institutions.

Abstract

Penguasaan sistem operasi Linux menjadi kebutuhan penting dalam dunia teknologi informasi, namun masih banyak siswa SMK yang belum memiliki kompetensi dasar dalam penggunaan command line. Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi teknis siswa melalui pelatihan dasar Linux. Metode yang digunakan adalah pelatihan berbasis praktik langsung dengan pendekatan hands-on, meliputi materi navigasi file, manajemen proses, jaringan, dan informasi sistem. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa peserta mampu memahami dan mengimplementasikan perintah dasar Linux secara mandiri serta menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan teknis. Pelatihan ini juga memberikan kontribusi dalam mempersiapkan siswa menghadapi kebutuhan industri serta memperkenalkan pemanfaatan teknologi open source. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini efektif dalam meningkatkan kompetensi siswa di bidang teknologi informasi.
