Abstract

Local wisdom has been associated with environmental conservation. How local wisdom and social practice shape determine environmental conservation is apparent in the the communities living along the rivers in Banjarmasin Sasirangan. Based on a qualitative approach with case studies of Sasirangan craftsmen. In Sasirangan Village, Banjarmasin City, this study aims to analyses the correlation between social interaction, local wisdom, and environmental conservation Sasirangan. The informants are craftsmen and Sasirangan traders. The data was collected through observation, interviews with craftsmen and Sasirangan traders, as well as documents study. This study concludes that the social interactions occur between craftsmen and craftsmen, craftsmen and groups of craftsmen, and between groups of craftsmen by collaborating in making Sasirangan products and competition in determining the color, motif and Sasirangan marketing. In this process, local culture plays a key role in the form of Sasirangan cloth which has various colors and motifs with certain meanings which are continuously produced, preserved and passed down from generation to generation This creates a mechanis of social interaction and local wisdom that promotes environmental conservation through the cooperation between craftsmen in the manufacture of Sasirangan products using natural colors from nature that are environmentally friendly. By not using chemical coloring, the practice reduces the pollution of river environment in Sasirangan Village, Banjarmasin.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to describe the ability of students to develop various learning media. This study uses a descriptive approach. The subject of this study were students of Social Studies Education Study Program of Lambung Mangkurat University. The research instrument used observation sheets in the form of a checklist and documentation. The results showed that the ability of students to develop various social studies learning media is good. The learning media developed were dominated by power point media (25%), videos (24%), and images (23%). Keywords: learning media Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menggunakan berbagai media pembelajaran. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Universitas Lambung Mangkurat. Intrumen penelitian menggunakan lembar pengamatan dalam bentuk check list dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan mahasiswa mengembangkan berbagai media pembelajaran IPS sudah baik. Media pembelajaran yang dikembangkan didominasi oleh media power point (25%), video (24%), dan gambar (23%). Kata kunci: media pembelajaran

Abstract

This study ams to find out: (1) students 'perceptions about entrepreneurship courses, (2) social environment, (3) entrepreneurial interests, (4) influence of students' perceptions about entrepreneurship courses and social environment on entrepreneurship students interest in Economics Education FKIP Lambung University Mangkurat Banjarmasin. The research method uses quantitative descriptive, the research sample uses random sampling and the detarmination of the number of samples uslng the Slovln formuIa, while the number of study samples is 109 students consisting of 2016 and 2015 class of students. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. The instrument trials use the validlty test and the reliabllity test. Data analysls techniques include analysis prerequisite tests which include normality and linearity tests. Hypothesis testing uses multiple regression tests with a significant level of 5%. Bassed on the resuIts of the study lt can be concledud as follows: I.) students' perceptions about entrepreneurship courses with a high category there are 61 (55.97%) students are 48 (44.03%) and in the low category there is none. 2.) social envronment with a high category does not exist, in the medium category there are 102 (93.58%) students and in the low category there are 7 (6.42%). 3.) interest in entrepreneurship with a high category there are 27 (24.78%) students are 82 (75.22%) and in the low category there are none. 4.) students' perceptions about entrepreneurship courses and the social envlronment have a posltive and signlficant effect simuItaneously or simultaneously on entrerpeneurial interest which is indicated by the caIculated F vaIue> F tabIe = 40.946> 3.080 and sig. 0.00 < 0.05, it can be concIuded that students' perceptions about entrepreneurship courses (X1) and social environment (X2) simultaneously influence the interest in entrepreneurship (Y). With R2 (R Square) of 0.660 or 66%, this means that the simultaneous influence of students 'perceptions about entrepreneurship courses and students' social environment is 66%, and the remaining 34% is influanced by other variables.

Abstract

Artikel berikut memaparkan pengaruh kedisiplinan himpunan pelajar Pondok Pesantren Al-falah Puteri Banjarbaru. Sebagai artikel berbasis penelitian asosiatif, populasi penelitian seluruh santriwati pondok pesantren Al-falah puteri dengan sampel 211 responden yang ditentukan ditentukan menggunakan teknik Proportionate stratified random sampling. Pengambilan data dengan instrumen berupa angket dan tes dan analisis data menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai kedisiplinan sebesar 85,97 % dengan kategori sangat tinggi, dan modal sosial pada kategori tinggi dengan nilai persentase 78,26 %. Terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara kedisiplinan pada himpunan pelajar pondok pesantren al-falah (HPPA) terhadap modal sosial santriwati.

Abstract

Panti Sosial Anak merupakan lembaga untuk mendidik dan membina anak yang tidak lengkap orang tua, kurang beruntung dikarenakan hambatan fisik, psikologis, dan kognitif agar potensinya berkembang maksimal. Tujuan tersebut dapat tercapai dengan peran pengasuh panti sosial. Artikel ini mendeskripsikan peran pengasuh dalam membina sikap sosial anak di Panti Sosial Anak Budi Mulia Banjarbaru. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan melakukan pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi dan untuk keabsahan data menggunakan perpanjangan pengamatan, triangulasi, dan member check. Hasil penelitian memastikan bahwa pengasuh di Panti Sosial Anak Budi Mulia Banjarbaru dalam menanamkan sikap sosial dengan cara mengajarkan dan membina untuk mengamalkan Al-Qur’an sebagai landasan hidup anak. Melalui pembinaan pengasuh tersebut mampu membentuk anak ber sikap sosial religius, disiplin, bertanggung jawab dan kerja sama.

Abstract

Masjid selain berfungsi sebagai tempat ibadah adalah pula tempat kegiataan kemasyarakatan, mulai dari tempat untuk memperingati hari-hari besar Islam sampai untuk pendidikan formal. Fungsi masjid dengan demikian merupakan wahana hubungan sosial bagi masyarakat sebagaimana terlihat di masjid Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan kegiatan masyarakat di masjid Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin, serta hubungan sosial yang terjadi di masjid Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Data dikumpulkan melalui proses observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Menganalisis data meliputi penyajian data, reduksi data, serta verifikasi data, sedangkan untuk menguji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi, yaitu triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Penelitian menghasilkan kegiatan di masjid Sabilal Muhtadin meliputi kegiatan salat jum’at dan salat hajat berjamaah serta salat lima waktu berjamaah, pengajian rutin setiap minggunya, kegiatan rutin habsyi, kegiatan jual beli, kegiatan TPA dan sebagai tempat kegiatan keAgamaan yang dapat membentuk suatu hubungan sosial. Hubungan sosial yang terjadi di masjid Sabilal Muhtadin Banjarmasin melalui interaksi antar orang perorangan, kelompok dengan kelompok, maupun antar perorangan dengan kelompok suatu masyarakat.

Abstract

Destinasi Wisata, sebagai tempat untuk rekreasi, dapat dijadikan sebagai wahana edukasi. Destinasi wisata Amanah Borneo Park di Kota Banjarbaru menjadikan destinasi wisata tersebut sebagai wahana edukasi dengan paket edukasi. Paket wisata edukasi tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar Pendidikan IPS. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas paket wisata edukasi Amanah Borneo Park sebagai sumber pembelajaran IPS menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi. Keabsahan data melalui triangulasi (sumber, teknik, dan waktu), perpanjangan pengamatan, menggunakan bahan referensi, dan member cek. Simpulan penelitian adalah aktivitas paket wisata edukasi Amanah Borneo Park dapat dimanfaatkan sebagai sumber belajar IPS yang bersifat kontekstual dan memudahkan peserta didik dalam memahami materi pelajaran sehingga mereka antusias mengikuti pembelajaran.

Abstract

Tempat Pelelangan Ikan (TPI) berfungsi untuk membantu bergeraknya dan meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan usaha para nelayan. Di Kota Banjarmasin terdapat beberapa TPI, diantaranya TPI RK Ilir terletak di Jalan RK. Ilir RT. 20 Kelurahan Pekauman, Banjarmasin Selatan, Kota Banjarmasin. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan aktivitas ekonomi di TPI RK Ilir sebagai sumber belajar IPS.  Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif. Observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi digunakan sebagai teknik pengumpulan data, teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan reduksi data, penyajian dan verifikasi data, dan uji validitas data dilakukan dengan triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas ekonomi di TPI RK Ilir dimulai dari  pukul 02.00 WITA sampai dengan pukul 08.00 WITA. Aktivitas ekonomi di TPI RK Ilir dibagi menjadi dua bagian, yaitu tangkapan air tawar dan air laut. Aktivitas ekonomi di TPI RK Ilir dapat diintegrasikan sebagai sumber belajar IPS di kelas VII pada materi interaksi sosial dan lembaga sosial.

Abstract

Character is a way of thinking and behaving that characterizes each individual. Character education is a program that educates people to become moral or noble. Through character education, it is hoped that everyone will be able to implement character values and noble character in social life. The research objective is to formulate a strategy for strengthening character education through the value of social wisdom in the city of Banjarmasin. This research is descriptive analytical, namely a description of strengthening character education through the value of social wisdom in the city of Banjarmasin. The data used is secondary data, namely data obtained through library materials. All data collected were analyzed qualitatively. The results of the study show that the community has social wisdom values such as the life philosophy of the Banjar ethnic group. The value of social wisdom is used as the basis for strengthening character education which is implemented in the family environment, school environment, and community environment so that the role of local wisdom for strengthening character education will take root in the people of Banjarmasin City.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze (1) relations, (2) structures, (3) values, and (4) norms in the Sasirangan industrial community in Sasirangan Village. The research location is in Sasirangan village, Banjarmasin city, South Kalimantan. This research uses a qualitative approach. The subject of community research in Sasirangan Village. The research informants were craftsmen, traders and buyers. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research focuses on social relations (Gillin and Gillin), social structure (Linton Ralph), values (Koentjaraningrat) and norms (Soerjono Soekanto). The data analysis technique starts from data reduction, data display/presentation, and verification/conclusion. The data credibility test was carried out by extending observations, increasing persistence, member checking and triangulation. The results showed that social relations include the relationship between individuals and themselves, individuals with families, individuals with institutions, individuals with communities, individuals with society, and individuals with the nation; in the form of cooperation, competition and accommodation. The social structure includes governors, mayors, heads of RT / RW, craftsmen and sasirangan sellers. The values that exist in society include economic, social and environmental values as well as the cultural values of the Banjar. The norms in society are related to the philosophy of life of the Banjar ethnic group, namely baiman, bauntung, cangkal, haram manyarah waja to kaputing, as well as behavior in everyday life.
