Abstract

Islamic education is the physical and spiritual guidance based on religious laws of Islam towards the establishment of a major personality dimensions according to Islam. Arifin, said Islamic religious education is an attempt to nurture the students to always be able to understand the teachings of Islam as a whole. Deeds of one's actions in daily life are not only seen from one dimension alone, but covers all the beliefs, worship, appreciation, religious knowledge and experience, all of which must relate to one another. Because every Muslim in thinking and acting being ordered according to the teachings of Islam in conducting economic activities, social, political or any activity Muslims are commanded to do so in order to worship Allah so that they act perfectly.

Abstract

Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pelaksanaan pembelajaran menggunakan model Inside-Outside Circle pada mata pelajaraPAI di SMP Budi Mulya Kota Bengkulu.  Penelitian ini dilakukan melalui metode tindakan kelas (classroom action research). Hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa  bahwa penggunaan Model Pembelajaran Lingkaran dalam dan Luar Inside-outside circle (IOC) dapat meningkatkan hasil  belajar siswa khususnya pada mata pelajaran PAI. Hal ini terbukti pada siklus I nilai rata-rata 67,08 meningkat pada siklus II menjadi 75,63. Sedangkan ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 70,83% kemudian meningkat menjadi 87,5% pada siklus II. Model Pembelajaran Lingkaran dalam dan Luar Inside-outside circle (IOC) dapat meningkatkan aktivitas guru terutama dalam memperhatikan alokasi waktu dan membimbing siswa dalam mengambil kesimpulan dari materi pelajaran.  Sedangkan aktivitas siswa, siswa dapat memperhatikan penjelasan guru selama proses pembelajaran berlangsung, siswa aktif dalam mengajukan pertanyaan dan menjawab pertanyaan dari guru.

Abstract

The limited use of digital instructional media in mathematics learning in elementary schools, particularly at SDN 82 Bengkulu City, indicates the need for learning strategies that are more concrete, interactive, and aligned with the characteristics of abstract mathematical content. This study aims to analyze the use of digital instructional media in mathematics subjects and to identify the obstacles faced in its implementation in Grade III of SDN 82 Bengkulu City. This study used a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research informants consisted of the principal, the Grade III mathematics teacher, and 29 Grade III students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and were then analyzed through the stages of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that digital instructional media, such as instructional videos, PowerPoint, and interactive images, had begun to be used in mathematics learning, but their implementation was not yet optimal and had not been carried out consistently. The use of these media helped students understand abstract material more concretely and increased their learning enthusiasm. The obstacles identified included limited facilities and infrastructure, uneven levels of teachers’ digital literacy skills, diverse student readiness, and internet network disruptions. The conclusion of this study emphasizes that digital instructional media play an important role in improving students’ understanding of mathematical concepts, but their implementation still requires optimization. The implications of this study indicate the need to improve technological facilities, strengthen teachers’ digital literacy competence, and develop more effective and sustainable digital-based learning strategies in elementary schools.
