Abstract

Riau province has the most cases on Sumatra island and has more COVID 19 cases, the third province in Indonesia. Spread of COVID 19 disease in spatial regression analysis with multiple Lagrange spatial lags to determine the dependence of spatial lags using spatial autoregression. This method can identify spatial autocorrelation in the spread pattern of COVID 19 disease in the county as well as determine the cause of COVID 19 mortality. Results of autoregression analysis According to space, there are three variables that significantly affect the COVID 19 mortality rate: poverty, unemployment and population density. With the SAR model results, koefisisen was determined to be 98.91%. This means that poverty, unemployment and population density are the factors responsible for 98. 91% of the COVID 19 mortality rate. The rest (1. 09%) is influenced by other factors outside the model.

Abstract

People’s Business Credit (KUR) is vulnerable to unwanted risks such as bad credit. The reduce bad credit, banks need to analyze whether customer debtors meet the requirements for credit. The aim of this research is to determine the logistic regression analysis model and determine the factors that influence the provision of People's Business Credit (KUR) at Bank BRI Unit Tangkerang Pekanbaru. The method used is the Logistic Regression method. Based on the research results, it was found that the factors that influence the provision of People's Business Credit (KUR) at Bank BRI Unit Tangkerang Pekanbaru are business turnover and business profit. So the logistic equation is obtained with the resulting logit function being g(x) = -11.587+0.501x_1+2.549x_2. The calcification value for granting People's Business Credit (KUR) using logistic regression is 93.84%.

Abstract

Oil palm is an important agricultural commodity that has a significant contribution to the global economy. One of the areas that produce oil palm plants in Indonesia is Riau province. Riau Province is the largest contributor to oil palm production on the island of Sumatra. Palm oil production always experiences changes in the increase and decrease in the amount of production. The purpose of this study is to determine the palm oil production data forecasting model. The method used in this research is the Exponential Smoothing method. Based on the research results obtained that with a MAPE of 7.63%, the Additive season Holt-Winter TES model shows a significant increase in forecasting accuracy compared to other models. So that the Holt-Winter TES model is the best model in forecasting palm oil production

Abstract

Lately, a climatic change has affected the uncertain occurrence of the rain process that implicates several difficulties in estimating flood disaster. The matter will certainly give the big problem to urban areas. Two stochastic-rain models which use the hourly rainfall data, Neyman-Scott Rectangular Pulse (NSRP) and Bartlett-Lewis Rectangular Pulse (BLRP), are a better way to identify the pattern of the rain events. Five rain characteristics represented by NSRP model’s parameter and six characteristics represented by BLRP model’s parameter will be used in identifying the rain pattern which is represented by the some rain statistics such as the probability and average of the hourly and daily rainfall. Two statistical rain models will predict the statistical value. This research using the data on 39-year rainfall per hour (1970-2008) from Alorsetar rain station has showed. It has been proved that some statistic models such as the statistical values which are generated by both models are very similar to those of observation statistics or statistics values which are generated from data.

Abstract

As a social being, a person cannot be separated from the process of communication. With communication someone will learn to interact and communicate to be able to relate to fellow citizens. With communication one can convey the intent and purpose to be desired. Communication does not only occur in society in general but also occurs in families who have children with special needs such as children with autism. Autistic children are children who have deficiencies in language, communication and interaction with the environment. Therefore it is very important the role of parents to guide autistic children so that they can grow like children in general. This research is motivated by the situation of autistic children who have many deficiencies in terms of communicating in the family environment. The purpose of this research is to find out how parents communicate with autistic children who have difficulties in communicating and interacting. Then to find out the inhibiting factors in interpersonal communication between parents and children with autism. The type of research used by researchers is qualitative research with a descriptive approach, research data collection methods, researchers carry out observations, interviews and documentation. The research results obtained are that in communicating with autistic children, parents as message senders have an attraction in inviting children to communicate, the use of verbal and non-verbal language in communicating is adjusted to the content of the message to be conveyed to children. selection of media to facilitate communication such as toys, colorful objects and props in communication. Then an open attitude to children makes it easier to communicate with autistic children. It can be seen that the inhibiting factors in interpersonal communication are speech barriers, semantic barriers and psychological barriers.  Keywords: Interpersonal Communication, Parents, Children with Autism

Abstract

Rainfall is one of the main components in the climate system that has a major influence on various sectors, such as agriculture, transportation, and disaster management. The city of Pekanbaru in Riau Province has tropical climate characteristics with varying levels of rainfall throughout the year. Therefore, a forecasting method is needed that is able to accurately predict rainfall. This study aims to identify the most suitable forecasting model for rainfall data in the region. The two methods used in this study are Single Exponential Smoothing (SES) and Holt's Double Exponential Smoothing (DES). The results of the analysis showed that the SES method provided a higher level of accuracy compared to the DES Holt method, with a MAPE value of 33.37%. Thus, the SES model is considered the best method in predicting rainfall in the city of Pekanbaru.

Abstract

The intense competition in the business sector motivates every business unit to manage their services, especially towards their customers, to the fullest. One of them is to increase customer loyalty by segmenting or grouping each customer into several clusters and determining the appropriate marketing strategy for each of these groups. Loyalty is the tendency of customers to purchase a product or service from a business unit with a high level of consumption consistency. Customer loyalty will become a point of success not only in the short term but also in the long term as a sustainable advantage. In determining the segmentation of loyal customers, a careful and accurate analysis based on the characteristics of each customer in their transactions is necessary. Segmentation or grouping of customers can be done through RFM analysis (Recency, Frequency, and Monetary) using primary customer data, which in this study is the customer data of PCP Cafe. The research results show that there are 3 (three) customer segments, namely non-loyal customers, less loyal customers, and very loyal customers. Disloyal customers are those who frequently move around and do not consistently visit or purchase products. Less loyal customers are those who often come but do not yet fall into the category of loyal customers. Meanwhile, very loyal customers are those who frequently visit and repeatedly purchase products. The results of the segmentation will later serve as the basis for determining the development strategy of the business unit in the future.
