Abstract

Corona Virus Disease-19 (COVID-19) has been declared a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020, previously on March 2, 2020 Indonesia has reported 2 confirmed cases of COVID-19. Immunomodulators that can increase the body's resistance to the COVID-19 virus by stimulating the immune system. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of COVID-19 on the sale of health supplement products in a pharmacy in Surakarta.This research is an analytical observational research. Data was collected from sales records at pharmacies in the 3 months before the COVID-19 pandemic and 3 months at the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic. Data analysis using statistical tests.Sales of health supplement products for 6 months were 17843 pcs. There were 4773 health supplement products sold before the pandemic, while 13070 pcs were sold during the pandemic. The results of the normality test showed that the data were not normally distributed. The Wilcoxon test results show that the significant value is 0.028 (<0.05), meaning that there is a difference in sales before and after the determination of the pandemic. The conclusion of this study is that COVID-19 has an effect on the sale of health supplement products in a pharmacy in Surakarta.

Abstract

The application of pharmaceutical service standards in Indonesian pharmacies has not been fully implemented, often referred to as services that do not comply with statutory provisions, where pharmacies are like shops that only sell drugs. This study aims to determine the application of pharmaceutical service standards at the Kimia Farma pharmacy in Banjarsari District. The method used is descriptive method using a cross-sectional research design. The research samples were the Kimia Farma Kadipiro pharmacy and the Kimia Farma Yosodipuro pharmacy. The research instrument used a questionnaire which was tested for validity and reliability tests using SPSS 21. The results showed that the application of pharmaceutical service standards at the Kimia Farma Kadipiro pharmacy was 86% and at the Kimia Farma Yosodipuro pharmacy was 80%. The conclusion of this study is that the application of pharmaceutical service standards at the Kimia Farma Kadipiro pharmacy shows very suitable criteria and the Kimia Farma Yosodipuro pharmacy shows appropriate criteria according to the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Indonesia Number 73 of 2016.

Abstract

Hypertension is known as a cardiovascular disease related to blood pressure and an unbalanced lifestyle. The incidence of hypertension in Indonesia is increasing. The goal of treating hypertension is to reduce mortality and morbidity. Pharmacological therapy that patients get can be in the form of a single antihypertensive drug or a combination of drugs. The purpose of this study was to look at the pattern of antihypertensive drug use at the Boyolali 1 Health Center. The method used was a retrospective descriptive method by looking at the patient's medical records for the period January-June 2022. Data obtained was then analyzed descriptively using percentages. Medical record data taken were 102 medical records. The results showed that the majority of hypertensive patients were women 66.67%, aged 46-55 35.29%, patients without comorbidities 82.35% and patients with stage 1 hypertension 73.53%. Regarding the pattern of use of hypertension drugs used, namely single drug therapy 66.67% with the highest use, namely amlodipine. While the most widely used combination drug was a combination of amlodipine and captopril 17.65%. The use of antihypertensive drugs is influenced by the clinical condition of each patient.

Abstract

Hypertension is better known as cardiovascular or heart disease. Hypertension is still a disease whose prevalence rate is increasing. The problem that is often found in the management of hypertension is the inappropriate use of antihypertensive drugs and dosages.This research was conducted to determine the accuracy of using the right antihypertensive drugs including the right drugs and dosages at the Boyolali 1 Health Center for the period January - June 2022. This research is a study that uses a retrospective descriptive research design by looking at the medical record data of hypertensive patients. The sample in this study were patients with a diagnosis of hypertension in the January-June 2022 period at the Boyolali 1 Public Health Center who fit the inclusion and exclusion criteria for a total of 102 patients. Analysis of the accuracy of drug use by looking at medical record data and JNC 8 guidelines and calculating the percentage of accuracy. Based on the results of the research conducted to obtain the advantage of using antihypertensive drugs in hypertensive patients at the Boyolali 1 Public Health Center for the January-June 2022 period based on the right criteria the drug obtained an accuracy of 76.47% and based on the correct dose obtained a percentage of 99.02%, the results can be purchased evaluation of the accuracy of using antihypertensive drugs at the Boyolali 1 Health Center for the January-June 2022 period shows that the level of accuracy of therapy has not reached 100%. ABSTRAK Hipertensi lebih dikenal sebagai penyakit kardiovaskular atau jantung. Hipertensi masih menjadi salah satu penyakit yang tingkat prevalensinya mengalami peningkatan. Masalah yang sering ditemukan pada penatalaksanaan penyakit hipertensi adalah ketidaktepatan penggunaan obat dan dosis antihipertensi. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui presentase ketepatan penggunaan obat antihipertensi yang meliputi tepat obat dan tepat dosis di Puskesmas Boyolali 1 periode Januari – Juni 2022.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang menggunakan rancangan penelitian deskriptif secara retrospektif dengan melihat data rekam medik pasien hipertensi. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah pasien dengan diagnosa hipertensi pada periode Januari-Juni 2022 di Puskesmas Boyolali 1 yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan eksklusi sejumlah 102 pasien. Analisis ketepatan penggunaan obat dengan melihat data rekam medik dan guideline JNC 8 dan dihitung presentase ketepatannya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang dilakukan diperoleh ketepatan penggunaan obat antihipertensi pada pasien hipertensi di Puskesmas Boyolali 1 Periode Januari-Juni 2022 berdasarkan kriteria  tepat obat diperoleh presentase ketepatan sebesar 76,47% dan berdasarkan kriteria tepat dosis diperoleh presentase sebesar 99,02%, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil evaluasi ketepatan penggunaan obat antihipertensi di Puskesmas Boyolali 1 Periode Januari-Juni 2022 menunjukan hasil ketepatan terapi yang belum mencapai 100%.

Abstract

Narcotics and Psychotropics were substances that were managed with strict laws by the government. Based on a survey by the National Narcotics Agency (BNN) and the Indonesian Institute of Sciences (LIPI), 2.3 million students in Indonesia have consumed narcotics. This study aims to see the types of narcotic and psychotropic drugs given to outpatients at Hospital X, Sragen Regency. This study was a descriptive study, research data was taken from outpatient medical records. The sample in this study were outpatients aged 18-60 years, receiving narcotic and oral psychotropic drugs with complete medical record data. The results of the study showed that most of the patients were female at 75%, the largest age group in the range of >25-45 years at 47%, the most common diagnosis was coronary heart disease at 81%, and the most common main complaint was muscle pain and cramps at 50%. The type of narcotic drugs given to patients at hospital x in Sragen district was codeine at 19%, while the types of psychotropic drugs that were often given were opineuron 46%, analsik 27% and alprazolam 8%. For further researchers, it is necessary to evaluate the use of narcotic and psychotropic drugs.

Abstract

Hypertension is one of the risk factors for cardiovascular disease and kidney disease with prevalence increasing every year. Medications for a long period of time and using a combination of drugs (polypharmacy) are at risk of Drug Related Problems (DRPs). DRPs are events or conditions associated with drug therapy that actually or potentially interfere with desired clinical health outcomes. The purpose of this study was to determine the identification of Drug Related Problems that occurred in hypertensive patients with chronic renal failure in the inpatient installation of Raja Ahmad Tabib Hospital Riau Islands. The research method used is non-experimental, descriptive and retrospective research. The number of samples was 60 who met the inclusion criteria. The sample used is data from medical records of hypertensive patients with chronic renal failure for the period January to December 2022. Based on the results of the study, it was found that 52 patients (86.67%) experienced DRPs, with the number of potential DRPs indications without therapy as many as 5 patients (8.33%), inappropriate drug selection as many as 2 patients (3.33%) and drug interactions. as many as 45 patients (75%).

Abstract

Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacteria. Transmission of TB can be transmitted through droplets from people infected with tuberculosis bacilli. Tuberculosis is very much determined by the success of treatment in order to prevent all complications caused by tuberculosis. This study aims to determine the level of compliance with the use of anti-tuberculosis drugs in TB patients at the Kota II health center, Mappi Regency, South Papua Province. This study is a study using a descriptive observational method. The research instrument used in this study was the MMAS-8 (Modified MoriskyAdherence 8-Scale) questionnaire with 8 questions that have been tested for validation and reliability. Based on the results of the study, it was found that 25% of patients had a good level of compliance, 21.25% of patients had a sufficient level of compliance, and 53.75% had a low level of compliance. The researcher's conclusion shows that most of the respondents at the Kota II Community Health Center, Mappi Regency, South Papua Province had a low level of compliance with a presentation of 53.75%.
