Abstract

Education for human life is pramery or absolute need which should be has long life, without education is imposibble for a thousand human can life to be with they want to do and happiness based on life futuristics. The goal of education not only a culture switching process and transfer of knowladge transfer of value it’s mean that education beside ofswitch and tranmissions, education also near to with the develope process and personality or society characters building te highess atitude for the learner have to has optimal education. Caracter Education not based on memorizing and verbality knowladge. Caracter education as the attitude education which habitual action and educator dicipline principle, parents, ledears, and society who large enviromnet fo the child caharecters. School is one of institution wich to bring out fo do character education. Formal education is point main to do life education characters and also prefer to educators models. Caharecters as characteristics thinks and atituted for every individu for life and do a coorporative with familly environment, society, and nation. The good character individu is the indiviadu who can make deccision and can to responsible for every his deccisson.

Abstract

Education has a central role in human life and developing era. Education is the bridge that connects the present and the future. The existence of such arole, content and process of education need to be always updated according the advancement of science and the needs of the community. The world is now moving quickly with the rate getting toned. Humans are in the midst of a revolution that is changing the style and way of life, communicate, think, and also achieve well-being. It is therefore always necessary renewal of organizing education to keep up with the rapid rate of change. One trend that demands educational anticipation is the shift in the profile of competencies that are needed in the future. Knowledge is no longer the only needs to make one successful. Soft skills, which include personal and interpersonal abilities of a person, being a basic need to master in order to be able to exist in a person’s life.

Abstract

Statistics is considered a boring subject for students, even though statistics are taught with the aim of preparing students to be able to use statistics in their daily lives. In studying statistics, there are still many students both men and women who view statistics as a boring subject. Based on this, the gender aspects of statistical learning are of concern to educators. Gender differences not only result in differences in abilities in statistical courses, but also in obtaining statistical knowledge. Many opinions say that women are not enough to successfully study statistics compared to men. In addition, women almost never have a thorough interest in theoretical questions like men. Women are more interested in practical things than theoretical ones. But on the other hand, not a few female students have success in statistical abilities.

Abstract

The purpose of community service is to mentor children in the Oemah Mathematika environment, Yosorejo sub-district, East Metro, Indonesia in understanding mathematics learning materials by utilizing traditional games including snakes and ladders, dakon (congklak) and tablecloth games. Through this series of traditional games, children learn the basic material for integers, lowest common multiple (LCM) and highest common factor (HCF), as well as material for flat shapes. The results of community service showed that the mentoring process for children at Oemah Mathematika went smoothly, the children felt enthusiastic about learning basic mathematics materials through traditional games. The mentoring process makes learning mathematics fun for them and fosters a love for the culture particularly tradisional games which has begun to be eliminated by the existence of IT-based games.
