Abstract

Sejak mewabahnya COVID 19, pemerintah membuat kebijakan tentang pembelajaran full online untuk seluruh lembaga pendidikan termasuk perguruan tinggi. Kebijakan tersebut membuat sistem pembelajaran berubah dan hasil belajar mahasiswapun berubah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar mahasiswa pada pembelajaran full online ditinjau dari perbedaan gender pada mata kuliah aljabar linear. Teknik pengolahan dan analisa data pada penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif. Pengumpulan dan analisa data kuantiatif menggunakan tes awal dan tes akhir serta pengolahan dan analisa data perbedaan dua rata-rata menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney U. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kelompok data mahasiswa laki-laki maupun perempuan tidak menunjukan perbedaan hasil yang signifikan dengan nilai p-value atau sig. sebesar 0,803 > alpha= 0,05. Artinya mahasiswa laki-laki dan perempuan yang melaksanakan proses pembelajaran full online memberikan efek yang sama pada ranah kognitif mahasiswa.

Abstract

Kegiatan pendampingan matematika ini dikhususkan pada pendampingan menyelesaikan soal matematika berbasis masalah yang bertujuan untuk membantu siswa dalam meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa tingkat sekolah dasar karena dampak sekolah di rumah saja. kegiatan pelatihan dan pendampingan ini dilakukan selama 3 kali pertemuan yang diikuti oleh 10 peserta didik. metode dari pelatihan ini adalah dengan tahap pengajaran, bertanya, dan berlatih. Hasil pelatihan menunjukkan bahwa dari 10 peserta yang ikut terlibat aktif dalam pelatihan, terdapat 6 peserta yang mengalami peningkatan kemmapuan pemecahan masalah secara signifikan sedangkan 4 peserta lainnya masih dibawah rata-rata hal ini disebabkan kemampuan dasar berhitungnya masih rendah.

Abstract

Currently being a professional teacher is proven by the ability to write scientific papers as a condition for promotion and position. Unfortunately, in reality many teachers have not been able to write scientific papers, especially in the form of articles to be published in journals. Community service activities carried out by providing training and assistance in writing scientific articles for UPTD SMPN 2 Metro teachers. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and skills about writing scientific articles with the output in the form of articles that are ready to be published. The method of implementing this service activity is the in-service training program, namely training and mentoring for teachers at SMPN 2 Metro. The results of the training and mentoring, there were 5 teachers out of 29 training participants who were able to make and ready for publication, and the others were still in the process of conducting research, which then the results of their research were written into scientific articles.

Abstract

Learning conducted online during the pandemic caused several problems for schools in areas where internet access was difficult, including students finding it difficult to understand the material, especially mathematics subjects because they quickly got bored and did not get all the material in the curriculum. This service will link mathematics with culture which is called ethnomathematics. The purpose of this service is to assist students in understanding mathematical material by assisting in an effort to deepen mathematics material for seventh grade students at SMPN 2 Sekampung Udik, East Lampung. The implementation method uses participatory action research (PAR) with stages in the form of preparation, implementation, evaluation and reflection. The culture used and closer to the subject of mentoring is the local culture of Lampung in the traditional game Taplak / Suksuk Lampung on a flat wake. This mentoring activity went well and received a positive response from participants and teachers

Abstract

The purpose of community service is to mentor children in the Oemah Mathematika environment, Yosorejo sub-district, East Metro, Indonesia in understanding mathematics learning materials by utilizing traditional games including snakes and ladders, dakon (congklak) and tablecloth games. Through this series of traditional games, children learn the basic material for integers, lowest common multiple (LCM) and highest common factor (HCF), as well as material for flat shapes. The results of community service showed that the mentoring process for children at Oemah Mathematika went smoothly, the children felt enthusiastic about learning basic mathematics materials through traditional games. The mentoring process makes learning mathematics fun for them and fosters a love for the culture particularly tradisional games which has begun to be eliminated by the existence of IT-based games.

Abstract

Abstrak. Pembelajaran matematika tidak hanya menghasilkan mahasiswa yang berhasil dalam perhitungan matematis dan prosedural, tetapi juga mengembangkan pemikiran religius. Oleh karena itu perlu adanya integrasi nilai-nilai agama ke dalam proses pembelajaran. Untuk meningkatkan pedagogis mahasiswa, perlu dilakukan integrasi pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik dengan lesson study. Selama pandemi covid 19 pembelajaran dilakukan full online. Untuk itu perlu adanya referensi modul perkuliahan berbentuk digital. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan e-modul aljabar linear dengan pendekatan pendidikan matematika realistik berbasis nilai-nilai keislaman pada materi matriks dan sistem persamaan linear.  Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan mengikuti model PPE (Planning, Production, Evaluation). Validasi dilakukan oleh ahli materi matematika, ahli media dan ahli agama. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu lembar validasi angket dan lembar respon mahasiswa. Berdasarkan penelitian diperoleh validasi ahli materi matematika memperoleh skor rata-rata sebesar 3,9 dengan kategori valid, hasil validasi ahli materi agama islam mendapatkan skor rata-rata 3,8 dengan kategori valid, hasil dari validasi media mendapatkan skor 3,55 dengan kategori valid.  Hasil perhitungan respon mahasiswa mendapatkan persentase skor pada aspek tampilan sebesar 81% dengan kriteria sangat menarik, persentase skor pada aspek penyajian isi sebesar 84% dengan kriteria menarik, persentase skor pada aspek kemenarikan sebesar 83% dengan kriteria sangat menarik. Abstract

Rendahnya kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam pembelajaran, khususnya materi SPLDV menjadi pendorong dilakukannya penelitian ini. Alat bantu seperti media pembelajaran permainan edukatif sangat diperlukan untuk meningkatkan hubungan matematis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyediakan media pembelajaran yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa dalam bentuk game edukasi Mathematics Adventure pada materi SPLDV. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pengembangan (Research and Development) model ADDIE yang terdiri dari lima tahapan yaitu, analysis , design, development, implementation, dan evaluation. Uji coba produk dilakukan pada siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 3 Batanghari. Instrumen pengumpulan data menggunakan validasi ahli, angket respon siswa, dan tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan game edukasi Mathematics Adventure sangat valid berdasarkan penilaian para ahli, respon siswa memenuhi standar sangat praktis dan hasil belajar efektif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan koneksi matematis siswa. The low level of students' mathematical connections in learning, particularly in SPLDV material, is the impetus for this research. Educational game learning media tools are necessary to enhance mathematical relationships. This study aims to provide legitimate, practicable, and effective learning media in the form of Mathematics Adventure educational game on SPLDV material to enhance students' mathematical connection abilities. This research follows the ADDIE model of Research and Development, consisting of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The product was tested on the eighth-grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Batanghari. Data collection instruments included expert validation, student response questionnaires, and tests. The results indicated that the educational game Mathematics Adventure was highly valid based on expert assessment, student responses met practical standards, and learning outcomes were effective in improving students' mathematical connection abilities.

Abstract

This research analyzes mathematical literacy skills in solving ethnomathematics-based PISA questions in junior high school students. The method used qualitative research with a descriptive approach to the subject of 3 State Middle School students in Batanghari. The instruments in this research were PISA test questions and interview guidelines. These scores were categorized into High-Level Ability, Medium-Level Ability, and Low-Level Ability. The results were based on student performance in the PISA test. The PISA test questions cover various cultures. The research results show that students' mathematical literacy abilities in solving literacy problems are reviewed from several aspects, namely 1) the understanding aspect, students can solve and understand existing problems and provide appropriate solutions; 2) the application aspect, students can understand it clearly. The overall problem, namely being able to use concepts, facts, and procedures to formulate, present, and solve problems, being able to write down information and answers to questions; 3) the reasoning aspect, students are required to understand the problem so they can solve it, question number 2, will but students still make mistakes in working on PISA questions, and 4) in the communication aspect, students can communicate their opinions well and accurately.
