Abstract

LALABO (Laundry Laboratory) is a laundry business model in Jakarta, characterized by its hypoallergenic and eco-friendly services, utilizing smart locker technology for drop points, mobile application, and personalized fragrance options. This study responds to the growing demand for skin-safe laundry services, driven by limited providers and increasing public awareness of skin health in Jakarta and other major Indonesian cities. Using a descriptive case study approach, data were collected through document analysis, observation, and organizational review. The analysis focused on designing a risk management model based on the ISO 31000:2018 framework. The findings indicate that structured risk identification, assessment, and treatment are essential for managing uncertainties in marketing, operations, human resources, and finance. LALABO can minimize potential risks and achieve operational excellence. Academically, this study expands the limited literature on ISO 31000 implementation in micro and small service enterprises, while practically it provides insights for entrepreneurs developing innovation-driven businesses.

Abstract

The rapid development of social commerce has transformed online shopping from merely a functional transaction into an immersive social experience. This study aims to examine the influence of ease of use on purchase intention through a dual-path mechanism involving hedonic value and utilitarian value. Using a quantitative explanatory approach, data were collected through an online questionnaire distributed to 150 social commerce users in Indonesia, selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modelling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with SmartPLS 4.0. The results indicate that four hypotheses were accepted while one hypothesis was rejected. Ease of use was found to have a positive and significant effect on hedonic value and purchase intention, but no significant effect on utilitarian value. Meanwhile, both hedonic value and utilitarian value positively and significantly influenced purchase intention. Furthermore, the indirect effect test confirmed the strong mediating role of hedonic value in the relationship between ease of use and purchase intention. These findings highlight that technological convenience serves as a key driver that should be transformed into emotional satisfaction and functional benefits to convert user visits into transactions. Therefore, platform developers are encouraged to synchronise navigation simplicity with interactive features to create a shopping ecosystem that is both enjoyable and efficient.

Abstract

The growth of e-commerce platforms in the automotive sector is accompanied by the rampant circulation of counterfeit parts, so consumer trust is a crucial factor for business success. This study aims to comprehensively describe and analyze the marketing strategy of PartGenie, an original car spare parts e-commerce platform that serves the business to consumer (B2C) and business to business (B2B) segments, including segmentation, targeting, and positioning (STP) strategies, marketing mix implementation, as well as sales strategies and revenue projections. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with a case study design, sourced from primary data in the form of PartGenie business plan documents and secondary data from literature studies, analyzed through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results show that PartGenie formulates segmentation based on demographic, geographical, and behavioral dimensions, with positioning that highlights the guarantee of product authenticity and platform convenience through the tagline "Trust in Every Drive". The marketing mix is applied differently, namely the 7P framework for the B2C segment and the NICE approach for the B2B segment, with the sales budget allocation dominated by the B2B segment up to eighty-nine percent of the total ten-year projection. Revenue projections show an exponential growth trend, especially since the region's expansion in the fifth year. It can be concluded that the integration of STP strategy, adaptive marketing mix, and measured sales planning is the main foundation of the business growth of trust-based automotive e-commerce platforms.
