Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh tambahan jahe, kunyit, dan salam dalam ransum dan perlakuan pencahayaan terhadap teknik tonic imobility, suhu rektal dan kadar air daging broiler. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 100 ekor DOC unsex. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Racangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan pola faktorial 3 x 2 dengan faktorial A pemberian herbal sebanyak 3 taraf sedangkn faktor B perlakuan pencahayaan berselang sebanyak  2 taraf dengan 4 kali ulangan, setiap ulangan terdapat 4-5 ekor ayam broiler. Perlakuan dalam penelitian ini adalah J(2%)C1 : pakan ransum komersial + jahe 2% + cahaya 1L : 3D, J(2%)C2 : pakan ransum komersial + jahe 2% + cahaya 1L : 2D, K(0,2%)C1 : pakan ransum komersial + kunyit 0,2% + cahaya 1L : 3D, K(0,2%)C2 : pakan ransum komersial + kunyit 0,2%  + cahaya 1L : 2D, S(3%)C1 : pakan ransum komersial + daun salam 3% + cahaya 1L : 3D, S(3%)C2 : pakan ransum komersial +  daun salam 3% +  cahaya 1L : 2D. Variabel penelitian yang diteliti adalah terhadap teknik tonic imobility, suhu rektal dan kadar air daging broiler. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam (ANOVA) dengan taraf 5%, hasil penelitian menunjukkan tidak ada pengaruh nyata (P > 0,05) keenam perlakuan terhadap terhadap teknik tonic immobility dan suhu rektal,  ada pengaruh nyata (P < 0,05) keenam perlakuan terhadap terhadap kadar air daging broiler.

Abstract

Indonesia memiliki potensi sumberdaya alam yang sangat melimpah tetapi keberadaannya belum mampu dimanfaatkan secara maksimal. Kelurahan Ngadirgo Mijen Semarang memiliki potensi tanaman rambutan yang melimpah tetapi ironisnya masih banyak masyarakat yang hidup dibawah garis kemiskinan. Tujuan dari IbM ini meningkatkan taraf kehidupan masyarakat Ngadirgo melalui optimalisasi pemanfaatan tanaman rambutan.Program IbM meliputi brainstorming enterpreneurship dan strategi mengoptimalisasi potensi daerah khususnya tanaman rambutan; pengenalan tentang rambutan dan alternatif pemanfaatannya; pengenalan tentang variasi pupuk dan dampak pupuk kimia terhadap lingkungan; pelatihan pembuatan sirup rambutan; serta pelatihan pembuatan pupuk organik cair berbahan dasar limbah tanaman rambutan dengan aktivator MOL (Mikro Organisme Lokal). Hasil yang dicapai adalah terbukanya wacana tentang strategi peningkatan taraf hidup masyarakat dengan mengoptimalkan potensi lokal tanaman rambutan sebagai produk sirup dan pupuk organik cair yang lebih murah dan ramah lingkunganKata kunci : Rambutan, Enterpreneurship, Pupuk Organik Cair, Sirup

Abstract

Abstract ?é?á The purpose of this activity is to increase of people?óÔé¼Ôäós income through local food processing and its marketing by empowerment of communities. Participants of these activities include member of RT 05 RW IX, Kelurahan Krobokan, sub-district of West Semarang, Semarang City. The method are discussion, practice, and simulation. Implementation of activities is to encourage community to be entrepreneurs in increasing family incomes not only just relying on the income from the work as laborers or workers. Abstract

ABSTRACTThe purpose of this research is to know the influence of feed additive are ginger, turmeric, and greeting in ration and lighting treatment on percentage of internal organ weight, It was are  liver, heart, lymph, gizzard, and intestine. Subjects used in the study were 100 DOC unsex. Factorial based on Complete Randomised Design used in this study. Six treatments with 4 replications consist of CJ1:commercial ration feed + 2% ginger + light 1L: 3D, CJ2:commercial ration feed + 2% ginger + light 1L: 2D, KC1:commercial ration feed + 0.2% turmeric + light 1L: 3D, KC2:commercial ration feed + 0.2% turmeric + light 1L: 2D, SC1:commercial ration feed + 3% greetings + light 1L: 3D, SC2:commercial ration feed + 3% greetings + 1L light: 2D. Varibles consist of of internal organ weight: percentage of weight of liver, heart, spleen, gizzard, and intestine. Analysis of variance was applied in this study. The results of this study showed that there was no effect of giving various herbal materials and lighting on the percentage of organ weight in heart, liver, gizzard, intestine and lymph. Subjek yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah 100 ekor DOC unsex. Rancangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Racangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan pola faktorial menggunakan 6 perlakuan dan 4 kali ulangan. Perlakuan dalam  penelitian ini adalah CJ1 : pakan ransum komersial + 2% jahe + cahaya 1L : 3D, CJ2 : pakan ransum komersial + 2% jahe + cahaya 1L : 2D, KC1 : pakan ransum komersial + 0,2% kunyit + cahaya 1L : 3D, KC2 : pakan ransum komersial + 0,2% kunyit +  cahaya 1L : 2D, SC1 : pakan ransum komersial + 3% salam + cahaya 1L : 3D, SC2 : pakan ransum komersial + 3%  salam + cahaya 1L : 2D. Variabel penelitian yang diukur adalah persentase bobot organ dalam : persentase bobot hati, jantung, limpa, ampela, dan usus. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisi menggunakan sidik ragam (ANOVA) dengan taraf 5%, Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan, tidak ada pengaruh dari pemberian berbagai bahan herbal dan pencahayaan terhadap persentase bobot organ dalam  jantung, hati, ampela, usus dan limfa. Abstract

Improving the quality of free-range chicken meat is not only in improving feeding and maintenance management, it is necessary to increase the genetic quality and maintain its physiological characteristics that reflect the condition of poultry (chicken) including blood cholesterol in free-range chickens. This study aims to determine the effect of varying doses of sweet potato leaves (Ipomoea batatas) on blood cholesterol content in native chickens. The design used was RAL. The research material consisted of 4 treatments with 3 repetitions. The chickens used are native chickens, with maintenance until the age of 12 weeks. The treatments in this study consisted of P0 (chicken feed/control), P1 (chicken feed + 5% sweet potato leaves), P2 (chicken feed + 10% sweet potato leaves), and P3 (chicken feed + 15% sweet potato leaves). The analysis includes the homogeneity of the research sample. The final analysis with ANOVA with a significance level of 5%, if there is an effect continued with Duncan's test. The results of this study showed no significant effect (P > 0.05) on the blood cholesterol of native chickens. The blood cholesterol content in the administration of variations in doses of sweet potato leaves (Ipomoea batatas) did not significantly affect the results of the highest blood cholesterol content in the P2 treatment (279 mg/dl) and the lowest result in the P0 treatment (225.67 mg/dl).

Abstract

Feed greatly affects the growth and survival of tilapia. Intensive fish farming requires commercial feed of the right quality, on time, and in the right amount. With increasing production costs, it is necessary to look for alternative protein sources that are cheaper and easier to obtain by using insects. This study aims to determine the effect of giving maggot on tilapia hemoglobin and cholesterol and its implementation in education. This study used a research design using a completely randomized design (CRD). Experiments in this study were carried out using 4 different treatments and 4 repetitions. The data analysis technique used is factorial anova using the SPSS application. The results showed that there was no significant effect of adding maggot feed to hemoglobin while there was a significant effect on cholesterol. evidenced by the SPSS factorial anova test results for hemoglobin of sig. 0.447 and for cholesterol sig. 0.00.

Abstract

Azolla pinnata adalah salah satu tanaman yang memiliki kandungan protein yang tinggi, sehingga sangat cocok untuk ditambahkan ke dalam pakan ternak. tanaman Azolla pinnata dapat menjadi salah satu solusi dalam mengatasi masalah harga pakan yang mahal .Maka dari itu pemberian biowash berbahan kulit umbi diharapkan sangat mendukung pertumbuhan dan perkembangan Azolla pinnata.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian biowash berbahan kulit umbi dengan variasi dosis terhadap kandungan protein , berat basah dan berat kering Azolla pinnata .Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen menggunakan desain penelitian rancangan Acak Lengkap/RAL 4x4 dengan empat perlakuan dan empat pengulangan yaitu sebagai berikut P0 : biowash 0 ml/L air sungai .P1 : biowash 25 ml/L air sungai P2 : biowash 35 ml/L air sungai P3 : biowash 45 ml/L air sungai. Parameter dalam penelitian ini adalah kandungan protein ,berat basah tanaman Azolla pinnata  dan berat kering tanaman Azolla pinnata . Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang telah dilakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa biowash berpengaruh untuk mendukung pertumbuhan tanaman Azolla pinnata , hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari bertambahnya kandungan protein pada tanaman Azolla pinnata , berat basah tanaman Azolla pinnata dan berat kering tanaman Azolla pinnata.Kata kunci: Azolla pinnata ,Biowash ,Kandungan protein

Abstract

Catfish (Pangasius sp.) is a freshwater fish commodity that is widely cultivated in the Indonesian fisheries sector. The aim of this research was to determine the effect of fortification of liquid probiotics bioprisma and biogan on the protein and fat of catfish meat in the biofloc aquaponics technology. The catfish used in this study was 7-8 cm in size. The research was carried out using a completely randomized design (CRD) method with 3 treatments and 3 replications, the treatments were as follows: P0 = without addition of probiotics, P1 = addition of bioprisma probiotics 0.15 mL/l,5 L of water, P2 = addition of biogan probiotics 0,15 mL/l,5 L of water. The data obtained were then processed and calculated using ANOVA at a 95% confidence interval if a significant effect was found, then continued with Duncan's further test. This study indicates that the addition of probiotic to catfish culture media can affect body protein, body fat, and water quality environmental condition (ammonia, nitrite, nitrate, DO) of catfish. The addition of probiotics in the P1 (addition of bioprisma probiotics 0,15 mL/l ,5 L of water) gave the best effect in increasing the growth of  catfish, 18,70% body protein and 8,73% body fat. The integration of biofloc with aquaponics technologies can eliminate geographical limitations and accelerate the urbanization of aquaculture.
