Abstract

This article examines the State Islamic University of North Sumatra's initiative to promote religious development communication, which has made religious moderation the university's identity. This initiative aims to reduce the community's problems with religious extremism and intolerant attitudes. The purpose of this article is to examine communication strategies for religious development that aim to improve social harmony in people's lives. The descriptive analysis method was used in this article, with data collected through direct interviews and observation. The State Islamic University of North Sumatra's communication on religious development takes the form of strengthening human resources through training for lecturers and students, as well as conducting research to implement strategies for improving society. The State Islamic University of North Sumatra has been successful in promoting the value of religious moderation to the university community, as evidenced by an increase in the number of competent human resources in religious moderation and the publication of hundreds of student journals discussing religious moderation. On the other hand, due to a lack of training, the State Islamic University of North Sumatra is still not making efforts to strengthen the value of religious moderation for students, so the value of religious moderation brought by students does not reach a significant value.

Abstract

Upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan nasional menjadi agenda utama bagi pemerintah Indonesia.Namun, implementasi kebijakan pendidikan di Indonesia tidak terlepas dari berbagai tantangan dan dinamika, termasuk intervensi politik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis intervensi politik pemerintah provinsi dalam suksesi pendidikan nasional di Indonesia. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah mengevaluasi sejauh mana intervensi politik tersebut mempengaruhi kualitas dan pemerataan pendidikan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus pada beberapa provinsi di Indonesia. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan para pemangku kepentingan pendidikan, analisis dokumen kebijakan, serta observasi lapangan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa intervensi politik memiliki dampak yang signifikan terhadap implementasi kebijakan pendidikan, baik dari segi penganggaran, distribusi sumber daya, maupun pelaksanaan program-program pendidikan. Namun, intervensi politik juga ditemukan sering kali menimbulkan konflik kepentingan yang dapat menghambat pencapaian tujuan pendidikan nasional. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa untuk mencapai suksesi pendidikan yang lebih baik, diperlukan kebijakan yang lebih transparan dan akuntabel serta penguatan koordinasi antara pemerintah pusat dan pemerintah provinsi. Dengan komitmen yang kuat dan kebijakan yang tepat, intervensi tersebut dapat membawa perubahan positif yang signifikan dalam sistem pendidikan, sehingga mampu mencetak generasi yang berdaya saing dan siap menghadapi tantangan masa depan.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the readiness of children in efforts to internalize morals through the Living Qur'an and Hadith, efforts to internalize morals by teachers through the living Qur'an and Hadith, parental participation in efforts to internalize morals through living. This research was conducted at TK Syarif Ar-Rasyid Islamic School Medan. The research method used is qualitative using a phenomenological approach. Data collection techniques used interviews, observations, and documentation studies. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. The results showed that Syarif Ar-Rasyid Islamic School Medan Kindergarten students were prepared to accept the process of moral internalization through living Qur'an and Hadith activities. This is evident from the physical and psychological readiness possessed by students. (2) Efforts to internalize morals are carried out in two forms, namely integrated with learning, and outside learning. There are four steps of moral internalization, namely moral determination, practice, habituation, and natural appearance. The media used are posters, MP3 Murotal short suras. The evaluation of moral internalization uses the technique of observing children's developmental achievements. (3) Parental participation is carried out through controlling children's development, supporting and facilitating children's activities, semester meeting activities, getting used to the same attitude at home, participating in parenting recitations.
