Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out, describe and analyze; The first is the achievement of Tahfizul Qur'an by 3 madrasah students in Palembang; Second, student achievement of 3 Madrasah participants in Tahfizul Qur'an activities in Palembang; Third, there is a correlation between the achievement of Tahfizul Qur'an and the learning achievement of 3 Madrasah students in Palembang.This research approach uses a quantitative approach with associative research types or correlations between two variables, namely Tahfizul Qur'an as variable X and learning achievement variable Y. The population is 180 students, each in 1 class from the three schools studied, while the sample is 103 people and selected using purposive sampling, the data collection method uses documentation, interviews and observations, while the data analysis technique uses four processes, namely normality testing and hypothesis testing, descriptive analysis using frequency tables, correlation analysis, and regression analysis.The results of the first study, the implementation of the Tahfidz al-Qur'an program at MIN 2, MTs Negeri 2 and MAN 3 Palembang has gone according to plan and has followed the procedures that have been designed by the tahfiz program team in each Madrasa, but have not reached the target, Second, student learning achievement in the three Madrasas is quantitatively (cognitive) quite good, with an average value of 77.7 to 80.74. Third, student achievement in the field of tahfidzul qur'an is quantitatively very good, with an average score between 77, 71 to 90.33. Fourth, there is a positive relationship with moderate intensity between the achievement of tahfidz Qur'an and student learning achievement, with a correlation number of 0.439.

Abstract

Preferensi Modalitas Belajar Visual Auditorial Kinestetik (VAK) Siswa Berprestasi Di MTs Negeri 1 Palembang Prodi Magister PAI, Program Magister FITK, Tahun 2022, baik guru maupun siswa dirasa penting untuk memiliki pengetahuan mengenai modalitas belajar sebagai upaya mewujudkan kegiatan belajar mengajar efektif, menciptakan hasil belajar optimal, dan mengembangkan potensi masing-masing siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengeksplorasikan bagaimana Preferensi Modalitas Belajar Visual Auditorial Kinestetik siswa kelas VIIIF pada Mata pelajaran SKI di MTs Negeri 1 Palembang. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksploratif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, informan pada penelitian ini adalah Siswa yang mengikuti proses pembelajaran SKI di kelas VIII F. Guru yang mengajar materi SKI di kelas VIII F. dengan total informan 32 orang. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: Pertama, prefrensi modalitas belajar siswa kelas VIII F MTs 01 Palembang pada pembelajaran sejarah kebudayaan islam dengan 10 siswa yang memiliki nilai teringgi pada mata pelajaran sejarah kebudayaan islam memiliki modalitas belajar yang beragam, 6 siswa memiliki modalitas belajar auditorial, 3 siswa memiliki modalitas belajar visual dan 1 siswa memiliki modalitas belajar kinestetik. Kedua, prefrensi modalitas belajar siswa kelas VIII F MTs 01 Palembang pada pembelajaran sejarah kebudayaan islam dengan 21 siswa diluar 10 siswa yang memiliki nilai teringgi pada mata pelajaran sejarah kebudayaan islam memiliki modalitas belajar yang beragam, 10 siswa memiliki modalitas belajar auditorial, 9 siswa memiliki modalitas belajar visual dan 2 siswa memiliki modalitas belajar kinestetik.

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to explain dynamics of Indonesian politics, the 2024 presidential election (Pilpres) offers a stage for presidential and vice presidential candidates to present their educational vision to the public. This study focuses on an in-depth analysis of the urgency, relevance and opportunities for implementing the educational vision proposed by the presidential and vice presidential candidate pair number 01. Through a qualitative approach, this research describes how this educational vision can respond to contemporary challenges in the education sector, synchronizing with socio-economic needs of society, and the potential for their realization within the existing public policy framework. The analysis found that the educational vision of the 01 presidential and vice presidential candidates has high urgency in overcoming disparities in access to education, improving the quality of learning, and integrating technology in education. This vision is relevant to the need to develop Indonesian human resources that are globally competitive and adaptive to changing times. Implementation opportunities, meanwhile, are analyzed through the lens of resource availability, regulatory framework, and existing political and social support. This study proposes several strategic recommendations to maximize the potential for implementing this educational vision, including increasing collaboration between sectors, strengthening evidence-based education policies, and utilizing educational technology.

Abstract

Muhammadiyah is one of Indonesia's largest religious organizations and significantly influences people's lives. Muhammadiyah has several AUMs (Muhammadiyah Charity Efforts) to achieve various goals, visions, and missions of Muhammadiyah itself, one of which is Muhammadiyah's educational charity. Muhammadiyah runs its education system following its goals, visions, and missions. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the implementation of national education policies in the Muhammadiyah environment and identify national education political aspirations in the Muhammadiyah environment. This study uses a qualitative approach to explore the position, strategy, and impact of Muhammadiyah in shaping education policies and to provide a critical review. The study results show that Muhammadiyah significantly influences the direction of education policy through advocacy, curriculum development, and providing education services. In addition, this study also evaluates national education politics in the Muhammadiyah circle and Muhammadiyah's political aspirations, which emphasize inclusivity, quality, and relevance of education. A critical review of Muhammadiyah's political ambitions in Indonesian national education emphasizes the importance of education that is inclusive, tolerant, and relevant to the needs of society. AbstrakMuhammadiyah merupakan salah satu organisasi keagamaan terbesar di Indonesia yang memiliki pengaruh signifikan dalam kehidupan masyarakat. Muhammadiyah memiliki beberapa AUM (Amal Usaha Muhammadiyah) untuk mencapai berbagai tujuan, visi dan misi Muhammadiyah itu sendiri, salah satunya adalah amal usaha pendidikan Muhammadiyah. Muhammadiyah menjalankan sistem pendidikannya sesuai dengan tujuan, visi dan misinya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pelaksanaan kebijakan pendidikan nasional di lingkungan Muhammadiyah, serta mengidentifikasi aspirasi politik pendidikan nasional di lingkungan Muhammadiyah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif untuk menganalisis posisi, strategi, dan dampak Muhammadiyah dalam membentuk kebijakan pendidikan, serta memberikan tinjauan kritis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Muhammadiyah memiliki pengaruh besar dalam menentukan arah kebijakan pendidikan melalui advokasi, pengembangan kurikulum, dan penyediaan layanan pendidikan. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengevaluasi politik pendidikan nasional dalam lingkaran Muhammadiyah dan aspirasi politik Muhammadiyah yang menekankan pada inklusivitas, kualitas, dan relevansi pendidikan. Tinjauan kritis terhadap aspirasi politik Muhammadiyah dalam pendidikan nasional Indonesia menekankan pentingnya pendidikan yang inklusif, toleran, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat.Kata Kunci: kelompok kepentingan; Muhammadiyah; nilai-nilai pendidikan Islam; politik pendidikan

Abstract

The national education system, according to Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 Tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional, is considered not to have undergone in-depth study and ignores various important considerations, resulting in discrimination that is contrary to the principle of justice that the government should uphold. Therefore, the government has attempted to revise the law and improve the legal framework for education in Indonesia to align with society's times and needs. However, the revision failed to enter the Priority Prolegnas in 2023. This study aims to examine the political factors that caused the failure of the revision of Law Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System (SISDIKNAS) in 2023. This study uses a qualitative case study approach by analyzing various political dynamics during the revision process. The study results indicate that a combination of internal factors, such as differences of opinion between political parties and factions in the DPR, and external factors, such as pressure from interest groups and community organizations, caused the failure of the revision. This study provides an in-depth understanding of the complexity of the legislative process in Indonesia, as well as its implications for future education reform efforts. AbstrakSistem pendidikan nasional menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional dianggap tidak melalui kajian mendalam dan mengabaikan berbagai pertimbangan penting, sehingga mengakibatkan diskriminasi yang bertentangan dengan prinsip keadilan yang seharusnya dijunjung tinggi oleh pemerintah. Oleh kerena itu pemerintah telah mengupayakan revisi terhadap undang-undang dan menyempurnakan kerangka hukum pendidikan di Indonesia agar lebih sesuai dengan perkembangan zaman dan kebutuhan masyarakat, namun revisi tersebut gagal masuk Prolegnas Prioritas tahun 2023. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji faktor-faktor politik yang menyebabkan kegagalan revisi Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003 tentang Sistem Pendidikan Nasional (SISDIKNAS) pada tahun 2023. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif studi kasus dengan menganalisis berbagai dinamika politik yang terjadi selama proses revisi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegagalan revisi disebabkan oleh kombinasi faktor internal, seperti perbedaan pandangan antara partai politik dan fraksi di DPR, serta faktor eksternal seperti tekanan dari kelompok kepentingan dan organisasi masyarakat. Penelitian ini memberikan pemahaman mendalam mengenai kompleksitas proses legislasi di Indonesia, serta implikasinya bagi upaya reformasi pendidikan di masa depan.Kata Kunci: pendidikan; proses legislative; review politik

Abstract

Pengendalian manajemen dalam konteks pendidikan merupakan suatu aspek penting dalam memastikan efektivitas dan efisiensi operasional sekolah. Studi ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi pengendalian manajemen oleh Pemerintah Kota Palembang dalam mengelola sekolah-sekolah di wilayahnya guna meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, melibatkan wawancara dengan pihak terkait serta studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemerintah Kota Palembang telah mengimplementasikan berbagai strategi pengendalian manajemen, termasuk pengawasan, perencanaan, pengorganisasian, dan pengkoordinasian. Pengawasan dilakukan melalui evaluasi berkala terhadap kinerja sekolah dan penggunaan dana pendidikan. Perencanaan terfokus pada penetapan sasaran dan kebijakan pendidikan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan lokal. Pengorganisasian melibatkan alokasi sumber daya yang tepat serta pembentukan tim kerja untuk mendukung proses belajar mengajar. Pengkoordinasian dilakukan dengan melibatkan berbagai pihak terkait, seperti orang tua siswa, komunitas, dan lembaga pendidikan lainnya. Meskipun demikian, masih terdapat beberapa tantangan dalam implementasi pengendalian manajemen, seperti keterbatasan sumber daya manusia dan teknologi informasi, serta perbedaan dalam pemahaman konsep pengendalian manajemen di tingkat sekolah. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar Pemerintah Kota Palembang terus melakukan pembenahan dalam hal peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia, penguatan infrastruktur teknologi informasi, serta penyediaan panduan yang jelas mengenai konsep dan aplikasi pengendalian manajemen di sekolah-sekolah. Dengan demikian, diharapkan kualitas pendidikan di Kota Palembang dapat terus meningkat sesuai dengan harapan semua pihak yang terlibat.Management control in the context of education is an important aspect in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of school operations. This study aims to analyse the implementation of management control by the Palembang City Government in managing schools in its area to improve the quality of education. The research method used is descriptive analysis with a qualitative approach, involving interviews with relevant parties as well as documentation studies. The results show that the Palembang city government has implemented various management control strategies, including supervision, planning, organising and coordinating. Supervision is conducted through regular evaluations of school performance and the use of education funds. Planning focuses on setting education goals and policies that suit local needs. Organising involves the proper allocation of resources and the formation of work teams to support the teaching and learning process. Coordinating involves involving various stakeholders such as parents, communities and other educational institutions. Nevertheless, there are still some challenges in implementing management control, such as limited human resources and information technology, as well as differences in understanding the concept of management control at the school level. Therefore, it is recommended that the Palembang city government continue to make improvements in terms of increasing the capacity of human resources, strengthening information technology infrastructure, and providing clear guidelines on the concept and application of management control in schools. Thus, it is expected that the quality of education in Palembang City can continue to improve in accordance with the expectations of all parties involved.

Abstract

Islamic education in Indonesia continues to evolve amidst social, political and economic dynamics. This study aims to analyze conflicts and compromises in contemporary Islamic education politics in Indonesia using the literature study method. The results show three main forms of conflict: differences in views between Islamic organizations, imbalance between religious and general education, and state intervention in the curriculum. On the other hand, compromise is reflected in the policies of integrating Islamic education into the national curriculum, developing modern pesantren, and autonomy in the management of Islamic education institutions. These findings provide an overview of the political dynamics of Islamic education and the importance of strengthening an education system that is inclusive and adaptive to changing times.
