Abstract

The management of sacrificial meat distribution in Ma’had Al-Zaytun is an important part of religious activities aimed at strengthening social relations and community welfare. The process includes meticulous planning, execution and evaluation to ensure fair and equitable distribution. The purpose of the research is to find out how the management of sacrificial meat distribution in Ma’had Al-Zaytun and to analyze the factors that support and hinder the distribution of sacrificial meat in Ma’had Al-Zaytun. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method. The research location is Ma’had Al-Zaytun. Data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the management of qurbani meat distribution in Ma’had Al-Zaytun proved to be effective and right on target, and can be used as an example in managing distribution that involves various parties and resources efficiently. The success of qurbani meat distribution in Ma’had Al-Zaytun was supported by sufficient personnel, adequate fleet, and active participation of students and staff. Despite the challenges of distance and the amount of meat, the use of teak leaves as wrappers managed to maintain the quality of the meat until it reached the recipients. Abstract

This study examines the phenomenon of lack of self-confidence in students of the Faculty of Da'wah IAI AL-AZIS in preaching and conveying Islamic values. Intrapersonal communication, which includes introspection, self-reflection, and self-understanding, is identified as an important factor in developing self-confidence. The purpose of this study is to find out the intrapersonal communication patterns of students of the Faculty of Da'wah IAI AL-AZIS and how these patterns affect their increased confidence in preaching. This research uses a qualitative approach with in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation to collect data. The results showed that students of the Faculty of Da'wah IAI AL-AZIS developed intrapersonal communication patterns through activities such as contemplating, self-introspection, talking to themselves (inner monologue), and using external media such as mirrors, social media, books for self-reflection. Then the intrapersonal communication patterns formed include direct communication patterns which are a one-way process without feedback. The two-way process pattern and in this intrapersonal is a question and answer process within the individual. The pattern of reflection process using media as an external means. This communication pattern helps students build better self-confidence when preaching. In addition, Carl Rogers' self-concept theory is also applied in this process, including self-reflection, unconditional self-esteem, positive environmental acceptance, and behavior consistent with the real self. Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the feasibility of the Arabic textbook “Ayo Memahami Bahasa Arab untuk MTs Kelas VII” authored by Hasan Saefulloh and A. Syaekhudin, based on three assessment aspects set by the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP): presentation, language, and graphics. This research applies a qualitative approach using a library research method and descriptive qualitative-quantitative analysis techniques. The primary data source is the analyzed textbook, while secondary data include BSNP standard documents, relevant literature, and previous research findings. The results show that the presentation aspect scored an average of 3.52 (highly feasible), the language aspect scored 3.42 (highly feasible), and the graphics aspect scored 3.40 (highly feasible). The overall average score is 3.45, placing the textbook in the “highly feasible” category for use as a learning resource for Arabic at the junior secondary level (MTs). Nevertheless, this study recommends improvements in providing a glossary, transliteration for longer texts, varied illustrations, and additional contextual sentence examples. Abstract

This study aims to describe the quality of service provided by barbershops in Ma'had Al Zaytun according to customer perceptions, analyze the effect of service quality on customer loyalty, and explain the relationship between service quality and customer loyalty in the perspective of Sharia Economic Law. The research applied an explanatory sequential mixed method design, in which researchers first conducted a quantitative approach by distributing questionnaires by simple random sampling to 180 12th grade Rijal students from a total population of 328, based on the Slovin formula (5% margin error). After the quantitative analysis was deemed inadequate, the qualitative phase continued in the form of in-depth interviews with managers and barberman to deepen the understanding of quantitative data. Simple linear regression statistical analysis showed that service quality contributed 89.5% to customer loyalty (R² = 0.895), with a very strong correlation of 94.6% (r = 0.946). In addition, most respondents expressed satisfaction with the aspects of cleanliness, comfort of the place, and friendliness of the barberman, although there were complaints related to the discrepancy of the cut results and the lack of professional barberman training. From the perspective of Sharia Economic Law, the service practices at Ma'had Al Zaytun Barbershop reflect the principles of trustworthiness, justice, and maslahah, but professionalism still needs to be improved as part of the service contract (Ijarah bil 'amal). The results of this study make an important contribution to the development of Islamic services that are aligned with sharia principles, oriented towards customer satisfaction, and have the potential to build sustainable loyalty. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of management functions planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling in the tahfizh (Qur’an memorization) and qiraah (Qur’an recitation) activities of students at Al-Madani Dormitory, Ma’had Al-Zaytun. The research employs a qualitative approach with a field research design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, which includes data collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The results show that the implementation of management functions has been carried out properly but is not yet optimal in the actuating and controlling aspects. In planning, the program is well-structured but lacks consideration of individual students’ abilities. The organizational structure is clear, yet interdepartmental coordination still needs improvement. The implementation phase indicates high enthusiasm among students, which declines mid-semester due to monotonous learning methods. Meanwhile, supervision is conducted regularly but focuses more on the quantity of memorization rather than the quality of recitation and understanding of meaning. The study concludes that a collaborative management model supported by digital technology and innovative learning methods is needed to enhance the effectiveness of tahfizh and qiraah programs within Islamic boarding schools. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of management functions planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling in the management of zakat at Yayasan Pemberdayaan Insan Mandiri (YAPIM) Ciledug. This research employs a qualitative approach with a field research design, emphasizing an in-depth understanding of organizational dynamics in zakat management. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman interactive model. The results show that the implementation of management functions at YAPIM has been carried out systematically but has not yet reached optimal effectiveness. The planning function is reflected in structured programs for zakat collection and distribution, though still lacking a data-based approach. The organizing function demonstrates a clear division of labor, yet coordination across divisions remains inconsistent. The actuating function reveals strong moral commitment and community participation but limited managerial competence among amil zakat. The controlling function operates through routine evaluation meetings, though still conducted manually without a digital monitoring system. Overall, YAPIM successfully integrates modern management principles with Islamic values such as amanah (trust), transparency, and justice, creating a model for accountable and faith-based zakat governance. The study recommends enhancing human resource capacity and digital transformation to strengthen efficiency and public trust in zakat institutions. Abstract

The Multipurpose Cooperative (KSU) plays a strategic role in improving community welfare; however, studies on the social and spiritual dimensions of Islamic cooperative practices remain limited, as previous research has predominantly focused on financial aspects. This study aims to analyze the role of KSU Desa Kota Indonesia in enhancing member welfare through its products and services, as well as to evaluate the realization of Maqashid al-Shariah as the analytical framework. A qualitative field approach was employed through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis, with data validation conducted using triangulation techniques. The findings indicate that KSU Desa Kota Indonesia contributes to member welfare by providing access to essential goods, offering low-interest social financing, and enabling income generation through product consignment and SHU/LHU distribution. From the perspective of Maqashid al-Shariah, these practices reflect the fulfillment of hifzh al-din through voluntary and consensual transactions, hifzh al-nafs through the provision of basic needs, hifzh al-nasl through support for family continuity and education, and hifzh al-mal through transparent and trustworthy financial management. Therefore, the study concludes that KSU Desa Kota Indonesia has successfully integrated Maqashid al-Shariah values in realizing comprehensive welfare that encompasses economic, social, and spiritual dimensions.
